  1. Name: Kaju Because rules: Water, water, everywhere, and all the boards did shrink. Water, water, everywhere, and not a drop to drink. Gender: Male Species: Po-Toa Faction: His own, but sometimes works with the Seekers. Powers: Stone powers Skills: He is a talented swordfighter, and skilled at navigation. He is also quite agile. Equipment: A long, brown, coat, and a few navigational instruments Weapons: A short, curved, sword, and a Cordak blaster Kanohi: Arthron Appearance: His mask is brown at the top, and fades into yellow closer to the bottom. His chest armor, hands, and feet are brown as well, with yellow limbs and highlights. He is not an imposing figure, but he is physically fit, and rugged-looking. His armor is old and damaged, and his coat tattered. Personality: Kaju is arrogant, flamboyant, and quick-witted, more likely to attack with a witty quip about his supposedly amazing skills than he is with a blade. History: Kaju always spent more time near the water than other Po-Matoran. One day, a dying Toa washed up on the beach of Po-Metru. He gave Kaju 6 Toa Stones, and told him to seek out 5 other destined Matoran. The Matoran became Toa, and set off on a quest, the details of which are only known to Kaju himself. Regardless, only Kaju returned from the mission. However, he was a changed man. He was surly, rebellious, and grim. Eventually, he stole a boat from Ga-Metru, and wasn't heard from for a long time. He's back. His small ship travels the seas, searching for treasure, and taking it from others when possible. He also operates as a bounty hunter, often taking contracts for the Seekers. Ship: Name: The Kardas (Formerly the Aquatic Fikou, renamed when stolen from Ga-Metru) Appearance: A small ship, barely large enough to be considered one, the Kardas is an unassuming vessel. It is fast and small, and used to be a fishing boat, until it was stolen and converted to a combat capable ship. It is made of metal, and has a lot of hidden compartments, and even a hidden room, in case the ship gets captured. Armament: Four large cannons, and several harpoons. The cannons are primarily intended as a warning, rather than a genuine offensive mechanism. The harpoons are there to attach onto an enemy ship, to allow Kaju to board and steal whatever it is he attacked to steal. Faction: Name: Kaju's Crew (He's not all that creative.) Goals: To become rich and powerful. Size: No NPCs. I won't be adding any subsequent characters of my own to it. If any players feel like joining, I'll add them, but I want to keep it small. Maximum of 6 people, counting Kaju. EDIT: And another one. Name: Denix Gender: Male Species: De-toa Faction: Seekers Powers: Creating, controlling, and absorbing sound. Skills: Is skilled at stealth in his own right, complimented by his kanohi, and is gifted at hand-to-hand combat and martial arts. Has high accuracy, and is also quite intelligent. Equipment: Smoke bombs, a grapple gun, and a small laser cutter. Weapons: Two daggers, a lightstone rifle, and a light staff (can only fire small light blasts, and takes approximately 5 minutes to recharge between blasts.) Kanohi: Volitak Appearance: In set form, he would be Inika Build. He is tall, thin, and imposing. His mask, chest armor, forearms, and lower legs are black. His shoulder armor, upper legs, and feet are dark grey. His armor is sleek and polished, but angular and sharp. It is also not heavy armor, designed for mobility and stealth. Personality: He's smart, devious, smooth, dedicated, charismatic, and tricky. He can convince someone that their most prized possession just fell in the ocean and that they need to go retrieve it, but isn't afraid of simply pushing them overboard. He's manipulative and sneaky, but not above getting personally involved. Despite his devious nature, he's also brave and loyal to his own cause. He's not afraid of killing, but will only kill those he feels deserves it. Which would be a lot of people. (Blank space to break up wall of text) History: No one knows where he came from. Some say even he doesn't know, though when asked, he'll respond "What's it to you?" implying that he does know. One day, many years ago, he appeared on the southern continent, fighting off a Rahi attack on a small village. No one even saw which direction he came from. All they know is that he took down three Muakas unarmed. The village was Mahri Nui. He was there for a while, but was travelling on mainland Voya Nui when Mahri broke off. When the Great Spirit was injured in the Matoran Civil War, an earthquake sent Denix's coastal home into the sea. He later arrived at Zakaz, where he lived a life of secrecy until the Flood, when he escaped on a boat. He sailed to the Great Provider, but his boat crashed. He lived on the Provider for a while, when the Seeker fleet came on a supply run, and he joined them.
  2. ID Tag: 248 Gender and Species: Male Toa of Ice Appearance: In set form, he would be Metru build. He is tall and thin, and is very imposing. His armor, at least underneath his power suit, is entirely white. While his mask is not an Akaku, it is in the shape of an Akaku Nuva Phantoka. He has icy blue eyes. Since it’s a thing, his heartlight is blue as well. His power suit is somewhat well armored, but seems to be intended for mobility rather than protection. It is mostly white, with a black upper torso, gloves, boots, and helmet. The lower half of the Torso, and a lot of armor on the arms and legs are white. The arms and legs themselves are light grey. (Think Kopaka Mata, but with a black shoulder area and helmet) Power Suit: The suit has a proximity scanner that can detect any significant motion within several bio of him. It lacks the power to detect small, hidden, or very fast movements (By very fast, I mean like Kakama fast). It comes equipped with a utility belt, which has a grappling hook, some basic tools, and a first aid kit. He has two plasma pistols and two wrist-mounted energy blades. The suit provides him with information on combat techniques and weapon usage. It’s possible that he was a guard, but his suit and weapons seem more focused on speed, agility, and damage-dealing than most guards. It also teaches him martial arts skills. Abilities: Ice powers (Not usable in suit), the abilities of his Kanohi: a great Kualsi. It allows him to teleport anywhere that he can see. He also has extreme agility. Personality: 248 is cold, calculating, and cunning. He has a mind for strategy, and can think up plans of action during the middle of a fight. He’s somewhat ruthless, and often seems emotionless. He is almost always calm and is not easily frightened. While usually serious, he’s not above the occasional sarcastic joke. All in all, he’s a capable and determined strategist and fighter, but has a lone wolf personality and often seems cold and ruthless.

  5. I chose Pohatu. He's pretty funny, and Lewa was more annoying than amusing as far as comic relief goes. I also really like Kopaka, but Pohatu is my favorite.
  6. I always imagined Jaller's voice as deeper and more serious-sounding than it was in MoL. I imagine Axonn sounding like Batman from the DCAU. I also imagine Nuparu sounding like Jaller did in MoL. :-P EDIT: Frank Welker? Now I'm hearing "Scooby Makuta Doo!" in my head.

Putting this chapter in a separate post, because putting the previous two in the first post screwed up the formatting. Chapter 3 – Ta-Koro Tahu: So I’ve got to find my other five masks, and put them together with this one to make a super mask with all six powers? Vakama: Yup! Oh, and take the Chronicler with you. He keeps sneaking away from his job to go on “adventures,” and I decided he could slack off on someone else’s watch for a change. Tahu: Uhh… Right. Vakama: Ah, here he comes now. *Takua walks in* Takua: Hi! You ready to go, Toa? I finally get to go on a real adventure! I’ve never had one before. Well, except for that time I got banished for being lazy and summoned the Toa here, and then got thrown across the island and ended up with amnesia and saw you show up. And that time that I snuck off and fought that Nui Jaga… Or when I got kidnapped by Ga-Matoran who were infected. Or when I found that nest of Nui Rama in Le-Koro. Tahu: Is he always like this? Vakama: Yes. Oh! Pressingturagabusinessgottarunseeyalaterbye! *Vakama leaves* Tahu: Uhh... *Jaller walks in* Jaller: Toa Tahu! I was wondering if I could join you on your quest. Tahu: Umm… Sure. Why not? Jaller and Takua: YES!
  8. 1. Pohatu Best Mask power, most interesting build, funny but awesome weapons, more funny than the supposed comic relief (Lewa's just annoying), what more could you want? 2. Kopaka He reminds me of Batman in MoL. Instant win. 3. Matau Hilarious. Awesome weapons. Cool mask power. This guy is reminding me of Pohatu. 4. Matau. Again. I don't really like any of the Hordika, but since Matau was still somewhat funny and had some of his best lines in WoS, I put him down again. 5. Jaller Personally, I think his appearance fits his element better than any other Toa of Fire. I like his personality, and his mask is awesome too. 6. Matoro Duh. 7. Tahu or Takanuva I like Kopaka and Pohatu, but I can't get over how awesome-looking the Hau Nuva Mistika is. However, if Takanuva counts, than I'd say him, because of how intimidating and powerful he both looks and is.
  9. So many choices. However, I am completely shocked that no one, no one, has said Cordak Blaster. Kongu would be disappointed, but he's hypnotized at the moment, so you'll have to settle for my disappointment. > Also, two of the '08 Air Sabers would be pretty awesome. I also have to admit the concept of a launcher that throws squids at your enemies is awesome, funny, and kind of dumb all at the same time. Then there's Axonn's axe. Who doesn't want to hit somebody with a giant axe? Kopaka Mata's sword and shield are awesome too. Not to mention Matau's air sabers. Also, Laser Crossbow. Because it's a LASER. CROSSBOW. Now I want a laser crossbow that shoots squids, and a giant axe that can fold into dual swords that look like the '08 air sabers, and a Cordak blaster mounted on a crab.
  10. It's hard to choose just one, but I'm gonna say Pohatu. Kopaka is a very close second.
  11. Honestly, any of the Karda Nui Matoran. Mostly Photok though, because Toa of Light + Kakama. ... Yeah. Chronicler's Company would make cool Toa too, though.

New chapter should be out tomorrow. Next up: Tahu arrives in Ta-Koro, and hijinks that may or may not have been shoehorned into a largely plot-based chapter ensue. A couple more chapters before other Toa start showing up.
  13. Finally got around to this. Here: ID Tag: 248 Gender and Species: Male Toa of Ice Appearance: In set form, he would be Metru build. He is tall and thin, and is very imposing. 14. You need to get the profile approve by me first, of course, and then post it in the Profiles Topic. After that, you're good to play. On the subject of the profile itself, lower the strength of the proximity scanner - detecting any movement at all is a tad strong, especially since it's within an area rather than line of sight. If you wish to keep it at the current power, limit it to about a bio radius instead; otherwise, cut it to detecting large movements (such as someone walking past) instead of detecting even twitches. -Toa Levacius Zehvor OK. Hard to type on iPad, so I'll fix it up tomorrow, when I can use my regular computer. I'll reduce the scanner to major movements.
  15. Probably a Visorak. And by "Visorak" obviously I mean "Muaka." "Good Kardas. Nice devastating monster. Are you my favorite engine of destruction? Yes you are" - Vezon Yup. Kardas. Final decision: Muaka Hordika that can turn into a Kardas!
  16. Sorry to bring him back up, but my answer depends on Velika. If he does go 'splodey, then AXONN AXONN AXONN! If not, I think Nikila is a cool character, and I'd like to see her and maybe a couple others make it down from the Red Star. Or at least have Pohatu and Kopaka (Yay for story serials about my two favorite Toa Nuva! ) find her there.
  17. So, you just post a character profile to join, right? If not, I'll delete this. Also, I probably won't be able to play until Saturday, but I might be able to edit this if any changes are required before then: ID Tag: 248 Gender and Species: Male Toa of Ice Appearance: In set form, he would be Metru build. Thanks. Yeah, I'm going to put names in front. The only reason I did the prologue like that is because they're narrating, and I've written the narrators as nameless italic text. Also, I'll be gone the next two days, so I'm putting up the next two chapters now.

Welcome! I've undertaken the project to write a comedic version of the BIONICLE storyline. I'll put up a character list a little later. I've gotten a few chapters written, and will release them one a day, to give me some time to write more. So without further ado, the funnies! Prologue – On a really sandy table with a couple pebbles Yo, peeps. Oh, Vakama. Could you at least try to sound old and wise? Fine. Umm… Gathered friends. Yes. That’s good. I like the sound of that. Gathered friends, I’m tellin’ you that story again, ‘kay? Vakama! Umm… Listen again to our… legend… of the… uh… Bioniwhatsit! BIONICLE! Yeah, that. A really really long time ago, which may or may not have been in a galaxy far, far away, Vakama, please. Alright, alright. In the… uh… In the time before time – Alright, how does that make any sense at all? Just go with it, Matau. It’s probably the best we’re going to get from him. The Great Spirit, Mata Nui brought us to this island. It was a nice place, and he was a pretty cool guy, so we named the place after him. I’m getting a little tired of reminding you that we’re supposed to be wise old leaders. Ah. Right. So anyway, his lil’ bro Makuta – I mean, his… brother, yes, brother, Makuta was jealous. Don’t ask me why. Anyway, he sang a really good lullaby to Mata Nui, who was out cold. What? We’re making most of this up anyway, and we never really “established” how MN got put to sleep. Whatevs. Anyway, these four really cool guys, one really cool girl, and one idiotic guy – Hey! What? It’s true! Anyway, they’re gonna come beat the karz out of Makuta and give Mata Nui a wake up call. That’s great. Can I smash these rocks now? Chapter 1 – A beach on an unknown island *A wave washes across the beach, depositing a strange, cylindrical object* *A lid pops off of the object and a pile of organic material and mechanical parts spill out. Whatever they were initially part of is still somewhat functional and manages to assemble itself.* Tahu: Unh. Where am I? Who am I? When am I? *He looks down at himself* What am I? Oh, this is gonna be great. Tahu: Who the karz are you? I’m the narrator of fire. My job is to explain to the audience how you got here and give you the answers to all those questions you were asking. Tahu: Audience? Oh. Yeah. Uhh… Sorry about the fourth wall, Author. Don't sweat it. I do that all the time anyway. Tahu: Uhh… Wasn’t this my comedy a moment ago? Ah. Right. Welcome to the island of Mata Nui! This place is inhabited by six tribes of little people called Matoran that are led by six slightly bigger old guys called Turaga, and sort of worship six really big people called Toa. Tahu: And where do I come in? You’re Tahu, Toa of Fire, Lord of the Majestic Flames, and all that. As such, everything fire-related here starts with “Ta.” You’re in Ta-Wahi, the section of the island dedicated to fire. You’re near Ta-Koro, the village of fire. This place is inhabited by Ta-Matoran the little guys of fire. They’re led by Vakama, Ta-Turaga, who’s the old guy of fire. You are the Ta-Toa. Tahu: *Begins to walk toward Ta-Koro* Right… So you said these people worship me, right? Sort of, but not really. They have this legend. The Great Spirit, Mata Nui, brought all the Matoran and Turaga to this island, where they could live in peace and prosperity. But Mata Nui’s “brother,” Makuta, was jealous of the respect they had for big brother. Tahu: What’s with the air quotes? Long story. Spoilers. Tahu: Ah, great. But how does this concern me? Makuta had evidently just watched Sleeping Beauty, so he decided to send Mata Nui into a deep slumber. He used infected Kanohi masks, yucky versions of the one on your face, to enslave all the Rahi, those are animals, on the island and began attacking the Matoran. The prophesy says that six mighty Toa will arrive on the island, defeat Makuta, and awaken Mata Nui. Tahu: And? Isn’t it sort of obvious? Tahu: What is? I guess it isn’t… You’re one of the six Toa. Tahu: Oh. Sorry if I’m a little slow on the uptake. I’m just glad I didn’t get stuck as the Narrator of Air. Tahu: Why’s that? Meanwhile, in Le-Wahi Lewa: So they worship me? Sort of, but not really. Lewa: They worship me. That’s not entirely tru – Lewa: Are there any cute girls of air? *Facepalm* Back in Ta-Wahi… Yeah, I got lucky. Chapter 2 – The approach to Ta-Koro *Several Matoran are hidden behind a log, looking at the long, narrow valley leading to Ta-Koro* Ta-Matoran 1: So yeah! Then I tell him, “What’s the matter, air-spitter, run out of treespeak?” Ta-Matoran 2: Oh man! That’s great! Jaller: Will you guys shut up? I think I see something. Tahu, further down the valley: So let me get this straight, as long as I’m aware of the danger, I can use this mask thingy to protect me from it? Pretty much. Tahu: Cool! Jaller: He’s shrouded in shadows. That means he’s either a friendly traveler that we’ll mistake for an enemy, or an enemy that we’ll mistake for a friendly traveler. Well, better safe than sorry. Activate the flimsy sticks that pop out of the ground in an almost cage-like formation but are completely useless! *The sticks pop up* Tahu: Wha? What the karz are these? *He gets out his convenient fire sword and cuts through the cage* Jaller: He broke through! We’ll have to throw our pointless disk thingies at him and brandish our awkward and somewhat pointy staffs! *Vakama comes out and starts bonking people on the head with his own staff* Vakama: Stop you fools, that’s Toa Tahu! Jaller: But Turaga! If we didn’t fight him, he would have actually turned out to be a rahi! *Vakama bonks him on the head* Vakama: Quiet, you.
  20. My element would probably be air or ice. My mask would most likely be a Volitak or maybe a Rode. Let's go with Ice and Rode, because they're awesome.
  21. Hmm... I definitely like the Toa, because of their powers, which make them plausible heroes, but aren't overpowered. I also like the Vortixx, just because they look cool. Also, Keetongu is awesome, and his species is awesome. Yay for yellow *However you spell the plural of cyclops* that beat up Steltians!
