  1. IC: Athiel"All will be revealed in due time. Nightfall is imminent, and the desert gets cold at night. We should set up camp soon."
  2. Athiel' finally back in action. Inactivity and the Dataclysm really screwed me over and he's finally back.
  3. IC: AthielThe setting sun's orange light reflects on the calm waters of Leva Bay. Water is parted as a small boat approaches the sandy shore. It starts to slow, then stops at a dock located by a small shop. Three tall figures emerge from it's enclosed cabin, but are silhouetted by the rays of light originating from behind the boat. A clawed being pays the boatman and exits from the shadow. He is flanked by two companions on either side, one obviously female, and the other male. They continue forward down the path until they they reached the top of a hill overlooking the seemingly endless desert. "Welcome to Po-Wahi".
  4. Bees? Fool, do you know who I am? I am Insecticide Man(heroic music plays in the background)! I kill the bees and suffocate you with the fumes. My mask.
  5. I summon an army of Giant Robots to eviscerate you. I remove your hand using my flaming sword, burning your flesh to a crisp but leaving the mask intact. My mask.
  6. Maybe add some serration on the front of the blade for more ripping and to better lock blades with and a larger cross guards for dueling. I would ruin the Japanese aesthetic of the blade though.
  7. I find it likely that Hero Factory will be discontinued in one or two years unless they can renew interest in the line. I am amused by the fact that Lego is turning Hero Factory into what is basically Pacific Rim, but I did enjoy Exoforce back in the day and like that they are retaining what has proven to be a very versatile building system. I mech idea could add some much needed variety in the line, and if the Beast are handled correctly could reintroduce a more complicated building system as opposed to what we've had recently.
  8. It's finally back! Stupid question, but where can I get details on the changes?
  9. I would be honored. I can't wait for it to start back up. I overly gimped Athiel and i'm going to make him how I envisioned him. I was holding back though, we were in an inn after all, and property damage isn't good. I could see using the Kakama to disorientate him, send his flying into a wall, and beating him into submission with your rapid flurry on punches. Well played indeed. I agree, strategy is very important between two supposedly evenly matched opponents.
  10. Yes, but your opponent could easily slow you down if you had the mask. You may catch him by surprise at first, but he will quickly catch on and make that tactic ineffective by increasing the gravity on you. In such an event, a stalemate is quiet possible without something unpredictable.
  11. I know, but using gravity against your enemy is likely to be more effective than your fist. It's quiet unlikely that a Toa of Gravity could ever reach that power level with their element, but by sticking them to a wall you could easily render your opponent prone with the strength your character already has. Using a Kakama for that purpose would be a waste and you would be better of using something that will give you more utility. I like your thinking though, the way your character is build is very effective, and makes him nigh unvincible.
  12. Good point, but is it necessary? After all you could just take them out with, I don't know, a thousand tons of pressure on them! Gravity is Super Unvincible!
  13. Just shift your gravity, and you'll go flying. Shift it 90 degrees, and you fall that way. In other news, I have invented the mask of forgetfulness.
  14. Then what's the point of using the Kakama in the first place if you can jump and go flying. With gravity you can send yourself flying at high speeds anywhere. Better to diversify your skill set. Athiel finally has a motive. Maybe i'll continue his storyline after the jump, or skip to the end.
  15. When you die, what song would you want to play as your life flashes before your eyes? For me, it would be Icarus, from Deus Ex Human Revolution.
  16. I think it's the short metru eyes. I would have loved to get it in more colors, and it's better for use with older mask. I would have liked the metru mask in other colors along with other more recent mask.
  17. Go Athiel re-uploaded to the Profile page. I'm ready.

  18. Athiel Species: Toa of Fire Gender: Male Alignment: Neutral Description: He is slightly shorter in height than most Toa, with a small, lightly armored frame. His primary color is a dark red, with black, silver, and dark grey also being present on his body. He wears a suit of heavy armor. His large silver shoulder pauldron are its most striking feature, giving him an intimidating figure. His gauntlets are large black claws, and he keeps a large dagger strapped on the back of both of his forearms. His lower legs are protected by large shin guards, adding to his intimidating image. Without his armor, Athiel is less intimidating. His eyes burn a brilliant shade of orange, reminiscent of the flame that he channels through his body. When traveling, he wears a worn black cloak. He wears a dark red Kanohi Huna, The Mask of Concealment Personality: Athiel is wise, and can even appear to be somewhat philosophical. He is very intelligent, and usually likes to think out his actions. However, if angered enough, he can get lost in his fury and lose control. He is an adventurer at heart and enjoys exploring. He can sometimes be very stubborn. Abilities and Traits: He has control over the element of Fire. His most common elemental attack is throwing a wave of Fire at his opponents. He also can create walls of Flame to defend himself, throw fireballs, and many other fire related attacks. In a fight Athiel is a very skilled combatant. He switches between medium range attacks with his spear, and close range with his daggers. When enraged, he is liable to turn into a storm of blades. Without his armor, Athiel is extremely agile, and to run at high speeds and leap great distances horizontally and vertically. Because he uses his mask often, Athiel's limb coordination is unmatched. Weaknesses: As a Toa of Fire, he is vulnerable to water. He is also hesitant to work with other, unless he knows he can trust them. He can lose himself in his rage, letting his anger control him, an attribute commonly found in Toa of Fire. Without his armor, he is very frail. Weapons: Spear of The Inferno: The Spear has a jet black shaft, which is almost as tall as Athiel himself. The Spears tip, silver in coloration, has two prongs at the end, one longer than the other. Between the prongs is a a third, smaller prong, where he channels his energy into too super-heat the spear to temperatures higher than that at the heart of the Mangai Volcano itself. However, it weighs an excessive ammount, making it unwieldy to those who lack strength. Daggers(2): High quality protodermis daggers designed to channel elemental energy. They are very light for their size, allowing them to be swung swiftly with little resistance. Unfortunately, their length forces their user into close quarters to be used effectively. Biography: Athiel is an adventurer who enjoys exploring his island home of Mata Nui. He has been a Toa for as long as he can remember, and hopes he can restore his memories by uncovering the past. Long ago, he washed up on shore with no memories of his part exept his name. When exploring an ancient cavern, Athiel found ancient text engraved onto a stone wall. He gave it to an aqauntence of his, Akura, a well versed scholar to translate it. It told of an ancient vault located somewhere on the island containing artifacts of immense power. He had to start in the Trem Krom Break, a dangerous area of Ta-Wahi. His journey was long and full of hardship, but he eventually arrived at Ta-Koro. Exasted from his Journey, Athiel stopped in the Lavapool Inn for some rest. Soon after he arrived he met Vrina, a Toa of Crystal. Together, they drove off a drunken Toa of water, Dalia, and Athiel asked her to join him on his quest. She accepted, and they retrieved the map he had been looking for, along with a keystone. The map was damaged so they would have to create a new one, so they headed to Po-Wahi to make a new one. Along the way, they were joined by Qyntar, a Toa of Gravity, and they took a boat to Po-Wahi. Soon after arriving, Athiel explained the quest to them. After doing some shopping in Po-Koro, they stopped to rest at a Tavern. Athiel later found the shattered body of the Innkeeper downstairs. He is currently detained in Po-Koro. Akura Species: Toa of Ice Gender: Male Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Description: Akura's armor is colored white and various shades of grey. He is slightly taller than the average Toa, and has little armor. His is thin compared to other Toa, and weights less due to his lack of armor. His eyes are colored light blue, similar in color to the coldest ice. He where's a Great Akaku in the shape of a noble version, and it lacks the telescopic lenses found on most Akaku. Personality: Akura is very secretive, and doesn't socialize with others often. Akura dislikes violence, but will kill if he finds it necessary for what he feels is the greater good. Unfortunately, his vision of the Greater Good conflicts with that of others. Akura enjoys uncovering knowledge, and will obsessively translate anything he finds. He is more emotional than most Toa of Ice, and can be irrational in his actions when under stress, even if an easier solution is available. He sometimes goes into a depressed state after killing someone, but try's not to show it. Abilities and Traits: Has control over the element of Ice. He is skilled at channeling his power without a Toa Tool. He is the master of a technique called Shatterpoint, which allows him to freeze a target solid, and in conjunction with his mask power, locate and strike it's weakest point, causing it to fracture into multiple fragments. Because of his lack of heavy armor, Akura is very agile and fast, able to beat out most Toa in a footrace, excluding Kakama users. He is skilled in the use of his sword, and can use it to channel his energy to greater effect. Akura is very intelligent, a trait his previous occupation demanded. He is able to translate most text because of his studies as a scholar. Fluent in Gukko because of studies. Weaknesses: He is very weak to fire. Due to having no heavy armor, he is very susceptible to attacks. He doesn't like to ask other's for assistance because he is antisocial. He often can get full of himself, believing himself to be more powerful then he actually is. His irrationality causes him to take unnecessary risk. He is prone to killing unnecessarily do to his skewed sense of justice. Weapon: Serrated Blade: A serrated protodermis sword that can be used as a climbing tool, and a weapon. It is capable of channeling Akura's elemental energies to higher levels of power than he is normally capable of without it. When impaled into an opponent, the serration causes excruciating pain when removed. History: Prior to becoming a Toa, Akura worked in the Sanctum as a translator. Eventually, he became a Toa under unknown circumstances. However, he disliked violence, so he decided to leave the front lines of battle against Makuta to resume his work. For a while, he traveled with Akura and worked as a freelance translator. During their travels, they came across a large cave system in Po-Wahi. Inside the deepest cavern was ancient text describing the location of vault containing unimaginable wealth. He translated it and shared the information with Athiel. They soon parted parted ways and retired from travelling, returning to Ko-Koro to resume his studies. However, things soon took a dark turn for Akura. The vault contained something so vile, that it's unsealing could mean the destruction of Mata Nui itself. After failing to deter Athiel by killing an innocent, he was detained and incarcerated in Po-Koro. He soonescaped, reclaiming his equipment along the way. Soon after, he was recruited in the Toa Daedra....... 19. I, using my powers of time manipulation freeze time right before you enter the Tardis, get Unicron to step on you and get the mask.My Mask!
  20. I used to live in Fredricksburg. I used to live a half hour away from the one in Cali.
  21. I like that we are doing this. My characters history was completely erased asked by the hack, and I was inactive for a while so this will be a nice reboot. Maybe make his less of a gimp? I could replace his mask during the time skip and retcon his history. They where in like, four of five episodes. Off Topic. I guess I can fulfill the plot line I planned for Athiel using flashbacks. How much have I missed? New account after hack. So we're pulling a Regeneration One? I doubt the Last Autobot can clear this mess up.
  22. Had to completely remake my profile. Will repost Athiel in the profile section soon, with a bio that incorporates all his endeavors and makes his more RPG canon friendly.
