  1. I'll give it a shot and get back to you on that. any particular instrument?
  2. did anything become of it? would love to know the location of those manas.
  3. I found the picture in some french archive. does anyone know the origins of the manas in this picture? perhaps if they still exist?
  4. Thanks for your help, but it seems like the remote is the problem. both motors are instantly responsive to one remote, but delayed to the other. If you have a remote, perhaps that could be part of our WMKK deal
  5. So I just bought Manas a few days ago, and they arrived today. But one of the remotes wasn't working. After some fiddling it worked, however the response was delayed(so I press the forward button, and it goes forward after about 2 seconds.). bear in mind both sets of batteries are fine in the working remote so I know that batteries aren't the issue. Any help/ideas?
  6. I'm not sure what the euro-USD exchange rate is, but the Manas' MSRP was $90 USD. I got mine for $53, which was a good deal to me. That's not euros. that's pounds. anyway I just converted it, and it reads $63.
  7. Hey guys just wondering is a set of manas with instructions for £40 a good deal? just wanted some opinions.
  8. well I think its a good deal, not sure about baltarc
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Bionicle/161170290444?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D3316885859803904227%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D161170290444%26 look at the turaga dume. he has a pohatu nuva protodermic mask. I hate it when people make mistakes like this.
  10. well, I only have the rahi in my collection. however saying that, I have an orange mana that has no remote I also have a couple of spare toa mata, a boxor that is almost complete(it might be complete I havent checked for sure), a full set of bohrok going spare and I think a brutaka. let me know, cheers, Bike
  11. Alright, i check and let you know as soon as i can! Possibly, i have a WMKK i can trade you. What are the sets you are willing to trade for it? Thanks MC I'll check in about a half hour, just doing homework now Ok, I have looked and decided only to put bigger sets seeing as this thing is worth alot. so I have Toa mata nui(the titan one) axalara T9 Jetrax T6 rockah T3 possibly a thornatus V9 they all have instructions and boxes to my knowledge Cheers, Bike
  12. Hey Mc, I'm just wondering if you'd be willing to do any trades. I want things like all 8 GPKK, SSKK, WMKK etc. but I have no money. I have a lot of sets that I'm willing to trade, perhaps you could sell them all if you don't want them. so if you're interested then I'll check what I have and you could give me the values of the items I want. Cheers, Bike
  13. if this site is near the end of its life, then do I really want lifetime membership?
  14. Big update on its way, will be organised and it will list all my sets for sale and everything I want. It will be this weekend when I sort through all my stuff.
  15. Well, I still really like this site and have only been a member since just before the server purge, but I like it enough that I'm buying lifetime premier. If people like me are still willing to pay to keep this place running then there should be no problem.
  16. I think there are several major roadblocks to a switch of focus working: - BZPower has been known as an exclusively Bionicle website for over ten years. To change that perception now would be very difficult. - In the cases of Ninjago and Hero Factory, the time to attract all the new fans has passed as the lines are now established. - Bionicle had an extensive storyline and complex universe that provided a rich source of discussion. Current themes have moved away from that setup to focus on action and comedy, leaving little potential for discussion. - Bionicle was a constraction line whereas Ninjago and Chima are System-based. Very few FOLs like both, which would lead to a division among MOCers. If this site wasn't focused around bionicle, then there would be nowhere for many fans to go. I would feel a little annoyed, as I am not fond of HF or Ninjago, and this site is the only real fanbase left. It's a little sad. If lego brought bionicle back, but with more advanced sets, like the earlier ones, this site would be popular again no doubt.
  17. To be honest, I think that I prefer the way the site is. It's a small community with, I'm guessing, around 600 active users, it's a little bit like a village where everyone knows everyone. I like it like that.
  18. Ok, well I'm going through all my sets this weekend hopefully so I will make a list for you (although it will be on my buy/sell/trade thread too) Bike
  19. Book marked this thread. Seems very interesting. Keep up the good work.
  20. I sent another pm a few days ago, and it seems you havent read it.
  21. well I have Pohatu and Onua, and a Gali with no fans. I had a package with some new sets come today so will update the list. as far as pricing goes, I'd do £3 per toa + shipping. Well I would love to buy them all right now Mc but I have no money. I will get around £120 once I have sold my Lego mindstorms on ebay, so at that point I will be more than happy to make a deal, providing you can give me a reasonable price.
  22. well, Its not that I don't want to, its just that the postage cost will be higher. also, here's the ebay listing I mentioned: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Bionicle-FULL-Set-of-36-Original-TOA-NUVA-MASKS-Rare-and-collectable-Mask-/251389400939?
