  1. I wonder if Bionicle returns in 2015, if they'll have small polybags sets?
  2. Lime, you know how to PM. Please top spamming the forums with personal questions. Makaru
  3. Hamtaro sucks, Bionicle rules Do you think Bionicle will return in 2015? Boxes suck, canisters rule! Are you excited about Bionicle 2015? I agree wholeheartedly . But just for fun's sake, I would take my Toa Metru Vakama. He was my third Bionicle figure purchased, and the only one of the top three that isn't missing pieces/contain broken pieces. I wonder what Vakama would be like if he had hero factory pieces
  4. If Bionicle returns in 2015, do you think the storyline will still have references to Mata Nui? Rap music sucks This was what I was getting at many pages back. Lego only needs vital info to be given to new fans so the story makes sense, and if they want more, well, Biosector is there for them. Exactly. What happened during the past within the MU isn't vital to understanding the new story. They don't have to reference Makuta or the Giant Robots, just give brief vague background like. The Great Spirit Mata Nui defeated his evil brother and freed the people of two universes from the machinations of a tyrannic warlord, and now hibernates within the Great Mask of Life until the world need him once more... Then introduce basic facts about old characters as needed. Eg: Ahkmou once served Mata Nui's evil brother but is now an outcast. Takanuva was once a Matoran until he became the powerful Toa of Light. The Skrall are a race of powerful warriors but scattered across the desert after their leader was beaten by Mata Nui. The Baterra were created by the Great Beings to end an old war, but instead ran rampant. Etc, etc. You see where I'm going with this. I think we've had quite enough of "shadow is always evil" for one decade. I think Lego needs to focus on a more diverse group of villains, like a rogue Toa team, perhaps using those lesser-known Toa powers that never really featured in the main story all that much. Because of the Makuta betrayal, shadow has always been seen as this malevolent evil element within the bionicle universe. A lot of the major villains had a black colour scheme. But shadow itself isn't evil. It isn't corrupt or malicious or whatever. It was the people who used it who were corrupt, and cruel and evil. Shadow itself was just one more of the many elements created to give balance to the MU. I think we should have a good Toa of shadow, or perhaps a villain who uses the power of light, just to turn the whole preconceived concept on its head. This is new era of Bionicle, so let's mix things up a little. Why not? I was tired and worded that a bit funky. I wasn't saying all of these rogue Toa need to be Toa of shadow, I was indicating Ahkmou should be a Toa of shadow and be their leader. You want a villain who uses light? Was actually thinking about that myself. Gavla could be one of the rogue Toa. The other 4...hmm, maybe Lesovikk could finally go nuts. Other 3 could be different elements. Lightning, sonics...heck, let's make acid an element and have a Toa of acid. Again, I want all of them Nuva...want this situation to become so dire that Mata Nui has to step in or something. May have to write a fanfic.. Doesn't lego realize that instead of simplifying things for kids/dumbing things down, kids can know about the Bionicle storyline through the Internet?!
  5. If Bionicle returns in 2015 and it's a reboot, what do you think the storyline will be like?
  6. Is anyone excited about reviews for the 2015 Bionicle sets? Why do older BZPower reviews don't include videos, but newer reviews do include videos?
  7. It's too bad Hero factory is packaged in bags The only good thing about Hero Factory in my opinion is that the pieces are more durable
  8. I agree with you about remolding older Bionicle pieces to be as durable as Hero Factory pieces I want mask packs back Kids eating the axles and pegs was never an issue (and besides, CCBS sets still use plenty of axles and pegs, they just don't rely on them to the same extent that BIONICLE sets often did). And it's totally possible to build custom designs at a smaller scale. Some of the most creative Hero Factory sets have been among the smallest — Thornraxx, Toxic Reapa, Jawblade, and Tunneler Beast are all good examples. I've also built a number of smaller Hero Factory MOCs myself, including the Geiger Tiger, a hawk, a monkey, a dog, Bogwaddle, Poison Dart, and Unikitty's Chicken Walker. And have you considered that some people's MOCs use a similar style to Hero Factory sets because they like that style? Custom for custom's sake is not something every MOCist strives for. Even with many of my BIONICLE and System MOCs, I have often striven to make them as set-like as possible. There's no sense using an elaborate custom solution for a design problem when a simpler and more efficient solution exists. So even if I make a custom torso design like I did for Poison Dart and the Geiger Tiger up above, I don't necessarily feel pressured to come up with elaborate custom arms and legs. If you DO want to build something totally custom, there's nothing stopping you from doing that. After all, basic parts like the Y-joint, ball joint, and all sorts of Technic pins and connectors still exist in Hero Factory sets, as do lots of amazing new parts like this. And a lot of Hero Factory parts actually have more connection points than BIONICLE parts of similar size anyway. What about What about smaller scale sized Toa? I doubt that
  9. BZPower encompasses many things, Lime. We've never solely reported on just Bionicle stories. Why not? ):
  10. Don't see how that's relevant? Unless you think BZP should stop reporting general Lego news just because Bionicle's coming back. It's relevent because this is a Bionicle forum, not a Jurassic World Sets forum!
  11. It includes two figures, though. That's what you have to keep in mind. I do not own the set myself, but its piece count and weight are both similar to the Nui-Jaga from 2001 according to Bricklink, and that's a set that cost $35 way back in 2001 (factoring for inflation, today it would cost about 47 dollars). I agree with you about Queen Beast being to small/having too few pieces
  12. The 1st Hero Factory sets I ever got were all siz 2.0 sets: Nex, Evo, Breez, Stormer, Furno and Surge
  13. Are you part of the Illuminati? Please keep your discussion on topic. -B6
  14. Do you think Bionicle will return in 2015? EDIT: Lime, don't do this here. If you do, take it to PM. ~Makaru
  15. I think it's the other way around because I think it's more likely that Takanuva will be a 2015 set, rather than Vezon
  16. If Bionicle returns in 2015, I wonder if they'll have a visual dictionary
  17. That MOC looks cool and awesome EDIT: Lime, please remain on-topic. If you want to comment on their MOC, do so in their topic. ~Makaru
