  1. Checking out the competition.

  2. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn - Wiremu's Room) Dahrak simply nodded, only to suddenly remember one distinctly lacking piece of information. "Directions to Koritan's place would also be greatly appreciated," he added. "Still have to cover both leads."
  3. Just a forewarning, but this is by no means supposed to be argumentative, and was in the process of being typed up well before even Ghosthands stepped in. Claudio, dude, you literally just came after me for mine, and if it seems like I was giving you some form of attitude, it's likely because this was your first post in regards to this entire conversation: "people never pay attention to me so i'm going to be difficult and refuse to do a simple request so i can further stall a quest that's already been on hold for almost months now instead of just working out the argument" Just how exactly was I supposed to respond to this? To be perfectly fair, I did say that there wasn't anything inherently wrong with the way you've been posting OOC. But have you ever stopped to consider that maybe I happen to like the way my posts currently look as well? Like I said, I'm not saying that you should have to change either, but from my side of the fence, this didn't feel like criticism at all, no matter where it was coming from. Something else to take into consideration; I don't actually own a computer like the rest of you. Everything I type up is on a PS4, and as anyone who's ever used the browser on that particular console can tell you, the entire virtual keyboard completely disappears every time one selects the Enter key. It's annoying, yes, but seeing as to how I'm not made of money, it's just something I have to deal with. Also, while I'm usually in the process of typing stuff up, I periodically have to take a break to let my dogs outside, which only serves to stress me out even further, as one consistently tries to go after all of my mom's cats and the other absolutely hates her own pit bull. So on top of all that, now I also have to worry about whether someone is going to have to go to the vet each and every day, and I'm left constantly looking over my shoulder trying to make sure my house doesn't turn into a total war zone. And to make matters even worse, she then has to walk through my room just to get to the only bathroom in our duplex, and conveniently ends up forgetting to lock, and sometimes even properly shut, all the doors behind her. So yeah, trying to remember to hit a specific key one more time is kind of a big deal when literally everything I live with is constantly trying to kill each other. As far as Sorox is concerned, Ghidora made his edits, and last time I checked, I'm fine with them now. Frankly, I'd love for things to go faster as well, but if you had a problem with something that was previously written, you would want others to take the time to hear you out as too, no matter how relatively small the issue was. And coming from the person you just got into it with, it's really not cool when you feel like you have to fight tooth and nail just to get that minute amount of consideration. I'm not purposely trying to come out here to wreck anyone's day simply because I'm an ####### (though I will admit, sometimes it does occasionally seem that way), and I'm not out here attempting to stall the game any longer than necessary out of a sense of spite. In fact, if I didn't enjoy being here and honestly thought they didn't deserve to be looked over, I wouldn't be trying to correct them at all. Again, formatting shouldn't matter so much. Personally, I make it a habit to read through every post of every topic I'm in, no matter how I think it's being presented, simply out of respect for my fellow players. If others can't bring themselves to do the same, well, that's on them. What's unfortunate, however, is when this happens to make someone feel overlooked, which then leads to them doing even more drastic things in order to fill the void left by the lack of attention, and then things like this Just don't expect people who have to read your posts in detail (if they're running a quest, say) to even consider taking you seriously after this. tend to not mean as much as a consequence anymore because they already think that they're not being taken seriously to begin with. Hence pretty everything I've said up until now. If it will finally help put this discussion to bed, I'll try to cut down on the actual length of my posts. I do still have to type up responses for two different characters, however, so please just keep that in mind. Also, I want to come out and say that it was never my intention to turn this entire thing into a four day-long verbal brawl, so for that, I humbly apologize. Like I said before, I'm going through a ton of stuff too, and unfortunately, it's had a habit of altering my mindset long before I've even had the chance to log in.
  4. Considering that I haven't once tried my hand at obliterating the word filter at any point in this conversation, I'd say that I'm plenty calm as is. When 90% of my future posts start becoming expletive-laced hashtags, and the rest is as incoherent as the speech of the Tasmanian Devil, that's when you'll know I'm actually raging. Thankfully, I have the foresight to simply leave and return later before ever reaching that point, as that state of mind tends to never accomplish much of anything.
  5. Yeah, well, for someone so quick to jump onto the Grammar Police bandwagon, I find it somewhat ironic that both of your last posts completely lack any form of capitalisation whatsoever. Not that there's inherently anything wrong with that, mind you (this is the internet, after all, so my standards for reading here aren't exactly all that high in the first place), but still, it does come off as slightly hypocritical, and you don't see me trying to get you to change. You're right; it doesn't. Again, according to the cycle Silvan wanted to set up, we all get to make exactly one move between each of his GM responses. Until those three type something up and Silvan himself is allowed to proceed, the only thing preventing you from continuing forward with your own character is the order itself, not me. Just press ENTER a second time. Although if that's not your speed, I'd be an old-fashioned guy and go with the indents. For a group of individuals who supposedly take pride in their levels of general acceptance, the fact that this even exists as a conversation is utterly ridiculous. Now if what I was typing up was in an obscenely bright color and every third word was a gif or something else along those lines, your argument may have actually had a leg to stand on there, but if the lack of paragraph spacing was really that big of an issue for people, it strikes me as rather odd that it's taken someone 2+ years to actually get around to pointing this out. Regardless, I've addressed what I saw as issues, only half of which have been resolved so far, and I'm through wasting my time and effort talking about something that literally has zero impact on any actual form of gameplay, aside from others using it as a reason to fuel their own inflated sense of ignorance. So either we veer back on topic and discuss something that's relevant to the heist itself, namely the problems surrounding Hubert's entrance, or I simply walk out on the whole thing altogether, leaving everyone else involved with the much less entertaining 8 on 2 scenario. At this point, I really don't care which ends up happening anymore, and even less so about what any of you happen to think of me due to presenting this as a potential outcome. Say what you want, but when the time comes for me to do so, I stick to my guns. Considering that RPGs in general are primarily supposed to be about having fun, the fact that everyone is so quick to nitpick about relatively stupid things strikes me as nothing but sad, and frankly, it flat out ruins the experience. And for the record, these were the only two points I have left: - A focused sonic attack, no matter how unintentional, generally aimed above the heads of two other characters, is highly unlikely to shatter every single window belonging to the car it takes place in. This goes doubly so for one positioned a few feet behind the being performing said attack, and was primarily made to correct an error in logic. - If said windows were specifically created to withstand higher amounts of potential damage, as was the rest of the train's exterior, then it's likely not possible for either the sound, nor Hubert's character attempting to kick their way inside, to break them unless an extreme amount of effort is applied. Assuming that the Exo-Matoran vaguely resemble the alternate Boxor model, this could effectively be the same substance protecting their cockpits while simultaneosly allowing their pilots to see what's going on outside, as Rahkshi armor normally doesn't contain any fully transparent elements like the original Bohrok did. Again, this was literally all I was attempting to dispute in regards to the Silvan/Hubert side of things. Why this had to go on some random alternate tangent for the past day is completely beyond me.
  6. As much as I would absolutely love to read through your (no doubt) highly intricate explanation as to how a lack of paragraph spacing of all things is enough to stall a quest, I'm affraid I simply have too many other interests preventing me from giving it the time it so rightfully deserves. Besides, how am I even holding it up to begin with? As of Silvan's last GM post, we have still yet to receive replies from Cyramar, Dalyn, or Kynaera, all of whom have absolutely nothing to do with the events pertaining to this current discussion and all of which need to be typed up before I can play as Taranis and Tenjin again anyway. The way I see it, this conversation doesn't even begin to harm the flow of interaction for anyone until such a time when those actually exist.
  7. I could, but seeing as to how they're barely noticed as is aside from the occasional rant OOC, I'd have a really hard time justifying putting in the additional effort to make them look more presentable when virtually nobody ends up reading them anyway. So yeah, needless to say, that's not very high up on my list of priorities at the moment.
  8. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn - Wiremu's Room) "And where did this Mekhanta formerly reside?"
  9. If the Kadin didn't at least somewhat suspend its user in the air, then they wouldn't be able to lift themselves off of the ground, and then it wouldn't be called the Mask of Flight. Granted, he can't just sit there indefinitely as if he had a Mask of Levitation, but they still operate under a similar ruleset. Again, if Sorox is flying towards the pair's chests, and Tenjin moves to effectively perform a Shoryuken, he's not going to have that much left over to deal with if he's effectively knocking him back into the upright postition and diverting it into the ceiling, especially now that the trajectory of his flight path has changed; his own Kadin would now literally be propelling him in that direction anyway. Between the original impact, the placement of his opponent's limb, his own mask, and the fact that his body would now be reacting to the blow as if he was a moving gyroscope due to his current defiance of gravity, it is simply not possible for him to sail over their heads and onto the other side of the train. Most of his momentum is now taking him in an entirely different direction, and the amount still moving him forward is going to slam him straight into the Skakdi's arm. As for Hubert's last post, that's also still technically being disputed. There just haven't been any new posts regarding it since yesterday.
  10. Tenjin's is actually on his left. Taranis' is on his right. Unfortunately, Tenjin shoved Taranis to the side after the same was done to him in an effort to avoid the plasma fire, which now means that he's striking from more or less the middle of the aisle, as the move wouldn't have even connected with Sorox otherwise. And since it was originally aimed at the underside of his jaw, and a Shoryuken generally involves twisting the body so that the blow impacts specifically around those regions, you effectively just gave me a free shot anywhere from his heartlight down to his lower sternum. Now if we take into consideration the fact that he's also being suspended in midair by his mask, this means that the impact is going to effectively treat his body like a scale; if one side moves up, then the other has to move down in response, which would then cause him to hit the ceiling and colide into the rest of Tenjin's arm in essentially the same position he normally stands in, thus halting his momentum and making the only directions he can feasibly travel in afterwards backwards and down. Granted, this would also likely succeed in pushing Tenjin back a bit as well, and possibly knock him off-balance as he attempted to land, but he can't exactly attempt to deal with that until the next post. Again, I'm literally trying to be as fair as possible here; I'm not arguing that the blow sandwiched him against the roof with enough force to kill him outright, that he might've broken a few of his ribs and possibly puctured a lung, or that the electricity should now be causing him some sort of heart problems, even though these are all still technically somewhat realistic outcomes given the current situation he's in. All I'm asking for him to do is to fall over in the right direction, take a moment to catch his breath and acknowledge the pain he's in, and then prepare for his next attack.
  11. So the Po-Toa here is only dodging Dalyn's second shot, then? Regardless, if she ends up moving, there's still going to be crystals potentially shooting through that area anyway. After reading through six pages looking for heist-related material, I have only found evidence of one Sonic attack; Taranis'. Seeing as to how the sound was still mostly concentrated around Datrox and Cyramar's position, it may have also had some effect on the windows down there while it was still being used for pacification, but even after doing its best impression of Shocker's Vibro Gauntlets all over the ceiling above them, I'm still having a hard time believing that it's going to cause something behind him to shatter, especially when what's making it do so is at least several feet away and aimed in the complete opposite direction. No vibrations would be heading towards it at all, which means there's very little reason as to why it wouldn't still be intact. And even if they were, you said so yourself that the train was specifically designed to repel outside attacks. Keeping up with that theme, the designers would've more than likely also been using a form of glass with slightly higher resistances than normal during construction, probably something that had been previously imported from Onu-Koro. Whether or not it's flavor text is largely irrelevant, as it's still a part of Hubert's opening post, which details how he was able to position his character in between Dalyn and the Skakdi. If there's no means of entry for Hubert's character to utilize in their attempt to re-board the train (in the event that we are dealing with a form of strengthened glass that they wouldn't be able to break simply by swinging their body into, of course), then he effectively can't have them do so, and considering as to how I just finished explaining why Sorox would be unable to get behind Taranis and Tenjin earlier, this isn't really that much of a jump. Speaking of which, like I said before, this just straight-up isn't possible. If Sorox only possesses enough speed to turn a blow to the chin into a blow to the chest (which, as supported by the lack of flight distance between their original positions and the time it took for him to do so, isn't that fast), his mask is the only thing keeping him in midair, and Tenjin's launching his fist up towards the ceiling with enough force to take himself off of the floor, this is effectively also going to change his trajectory to the point where it is much more likely for him to fall backwards instead of somehow managing to clear them and ending up on the other side. The front half of his body would now also be moving upwards in respone with the blow, and the resulting impact with the roof of the train would rob him of virtually all of his forward momentum if it hadn't already disappeared after flying directly into his arm. Again, for the record, I'm not expecting this to take him out of the fight entirely, or even for it to cause him any injuries that he wouldn't be able to realistically recover from within the span of the actual battle itself. Simply hitting the aisle below, and maybe involuntarily rolling backwards a few feet, should give him enough time to catch his breath and come up with a reasonable counterattack while everything else around him is currently being resolved.
  12. Okay, now I'm confused again. Why is there a broken window between Taranis, Tenjin, and Dalyn? The only attacks traveling towards that area were two spent plasma rounds from Cyramar (which, given the angle they were fired at, would've ended up hitting the floor), the fragments of Stone and Crystal flying towards Dalyn (who is currently still in the aisle as far as I can tell, so they'd more likely end up hitting the Skakdi twins in the event that she ended up avoiding them), and possibly the blast of Laser Vision Datrox is attempting to deflect with his sword, all of which have yet to even come close to producing the desired outcome in question. And in the event that any of them did, as Silvan just previously stated, any attack coming from inside the train would be sending the debris outside, so there'd be no shards of glass to step on anyway. Either way, Hubert, welcome to an already mostly one-sided fight, I suppose. It did start off as 7 to 4, after all, so it's not like the odds of us actually pulling off the heist were that great to begin with.
  13. Granted, that is likely how a normal sonic weapon would work, but seeing as to how Taranis and Tenjin only have one arm apiece (they possess a build similar to that of The Abramovici Twins from Batman: Arkham City), I sort of figured that their tech items would have some type of component installed that would cycle through settings automatically depending on how much of their power they were pumping into them, since neither possesses the extra limb necessary to do so independently. Combined with the uncontrolled surge in power, the fact that the incident in question occured while he was in the process of dodging plasma fire (meaning that his arm was moving and that he wasn't targeting one specific area), and the already pre-established fact that the interior and exterior of the train isn't just kept seperate by a single piece of metal, whatever happened to be dislodged would also still be eventually be brought down by gravity as the sound waves themselves never actually succeeded in penetrating their way through the train and certainly weren't sticking around long enough to keep anything suspended. As for Kynaera's position, really? I only recall her teleporting past Guard #2 (the one Tenjin hit with Impact Vision), but it's not like it makes that much of a difference anyway.
  14. Aside from pointing out that Sonics can, in fact, be used to disrupt structual integrity (Example 1, Use 3 over on BS01), I have some issues of my own I'd like to bring up, mainly with Ghidora's last post. First of all, I'd just like to point out that I'm perfectly fine with the blow hitting Sorox in the chest; I did type up that Tenjin was still in the process of regaining his vision, so that's still perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, since the attack was more or less a crouching Shoryuken, he's also launching himself off of the floor as well, so if the blow were to connect and send him even higher up into the air than he already was at a completely different angle, then there really wouldn't be enough space between his fist and the ceiling of the passenger car (assuming it's only slightly taller than the height of your average Vortixx) for him to fly over their heads. Also, similar to the Kakama, a Kadin would need some additional time and distance to sufficiently build up speed and/or acceleration, both of which are not currently present enough for him to realistically slip through said gap before it inevitably closed, given the relatively close proximity of their original starting positions. Even if he did still somehow get behind them, though, him impacting the doorframe simply isn't going to happen. From what I've gathered since the start of the heist, this is currently the approximate layout of the fight: 1. Rear Door (Leads Towards Gold) 2. Guard #1 3. Kynaera (Teleported) 4. Guard #2 5. Datrox & Cyramar's Booth or Whatever 6. Sorox (In Flight) 7. Taranis & Tenjin 8. Dalyn 9. Guards #3 & #4 10. Front Door (Entrance to Other Passenger Cars) So taking all of this into consideration, Sorox would have to sail past or into three other characters just to reach it in order to do any damage, thus putting him nowhere near close enough to Taranis and Tenjin in order to effectively attack them. In all honesty, it would probably just be easier to have him get knocked backwards and roll down into the aisle instead.
  15. OOC: I totally forgot that Cyramar was even there at the time of that post. My bad. IC: Taranis and Tenjin - The Iron Mahi (Passenger Car) Catching a sudden flash of movement with his peripheral vision, Taranis barely had time to register the existence of their third opponent before shoving his sibling into a nearby seat in an effort to dodge the resulting gunfire. Because of this, the barrage of sound waves unintentionally started to veer off-course, briefly intensifying as they angled their way up above the Ta-Toa and his ally... towards the roof of the train, which then began to shower the duo with various chunks of debris as the ensuing vibrations caused it to start tearing itself apart. In execution, the action didn't exactly work out as expected. While he did succeed in managing to avoid the first shot, letting it impact the floor some distance behind him as it likely began to burn its way through the metal, the second still managed to graze him, searing through parts of his armor and his outermost layer of skin as it too ended up following a vaguely similar path. Despite gritting his teeth as he mumbled a string of various curses, however, he was still perfectly capable of recognising the wound for what it was, and though it was definitely going to sting a bit every time he moved, it was still something he could effectively power through if he had to. The Vo-Skakdi, meanwhile, had just managed to regain enough of his vision to spot the Ga-Toa's blur of an aerial charge, which in hindsight, his relatively simple mind found extremely perplexing. First of all, they had previously positioned themselves in the aisle, facing one of the doors and with their backs turned towards the other, so if the goal here was to slam them into something such as one of the walls, he was going to be sorely disappointed. Then one had to factor in their current location, a fairly cramped passenger car in this case, which was chalk full of railings, compartments, and a wide assortment of other objects he could've crashed into and ended up wiping himself out with before he had managed to even reach his intended destination. Finally, there was their difference in size; in the event that he did somehow manage to ram them after all that, they still had the fortune of being two extremely muscular Skakdi, so even with the sudden burst of speed provided to him by his mask, the chances of him causing them to stumble any more than a few steps backwards upon impact was relatively slim to none. But since he considered violence to be one of his strong suits, Tenjin wasn't planning on even letting him get that far. From his current position crouched up against the side of the bench, he quickly took advantage of the fact that it was currently obscuring his arm, using the opportunity to electrify his Lightning Gauntlet as he waited for the Toa to inevitably barrel towards them. Then, at the last possible second, he forced his brother back onto his own side of the train, rising up to his full height and delivering a viciously brutal uppercut towards the underside of his jaw, the force of which causing him to momentarily launch himself into the air. Unfortunately, though, this was only half of the potential problem; provided that it actually made contact, aside from the shock and the initial impact, the Kadin-user would've also likely found his cranium to now be on a collision course with the ceiling as well. Seeing as to how the attack was purposely aimed from below just as he passed over it, and well outside his field of vision, however, it would've been an absolute miracle if it didn't end up connecting. To make maters even worse, the De-Skakdi, upon realising that they now held the tactical advantage, as the Toa's allies would probably be less inclined to make a move of their own if it meant risking their friend being caught up in the crossfire, proceeded to channel his brief flash of anger into a blast of Laser Vision aimed directly at the Lesterin's trigger hand in retaliation. Whether he merely lost the weapon in the ensuing chaos, or the appendage was entirely severed from the rest of his body, he didn't particularly care. Either way, he was going to make one thing perfectly clear; if the trio continued to butt in on matters that didn't concern them, then they were certainly going to end up paying the price for their interference.
  16. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn) A recent workplace accident? Now that was definitely peculiar, considering the perp they were tracking was known to have a Volitak in their possession. Granted, this didn't completely rule out the possibility of the current Chief Researcher still being involved, but the timing was simply just too convenient to ignore, and ensuring that someone couldn't walk in on you rifling through their stuff would've allowed for a more thorough search, especially since the guards likely wouldn't be paying that much attention to a currently vacant house. Unfortunately, it also happened to bring one of his older questions back into play; was the motive behind the theft truly premeditated? After mentally reviewing the facts, he really couldn't see how it wasn't, at least in execution, anyway. The thief still had to have acquired the knowledge of his target, but the exact point in which he acquired it was still open for debate. If Koritan was feeding him, or whoever hired him, information, then the mishap with his predecessor could've either been accidental and completely unrelated, or performed as an alternate method of payment for services rendered in the event that he himself was able to somehow access it before his recent promotion. If the incident was staged, however, that also meant that the former Chief Researcher might've been the one doing the deed instead, and that the reason for their demise was still up in the air. He could've been trying to eliminate witnesses, and in that case, Wiremu would've been lucky to have gotten the drop on him, as the shock of his sudden arrival was likely the only reason he was still alive. Had greed or betrayal managed to influence one side or the other, then this would've posed some risk, as the act itself could've possibly involved losing what he was after, if it hadn't already been obtained beforehand. But in the event that it did start off as a random job, then the thief only needed to be in the right place at the right time in order to stumble upon something pointing towards the existence of the documents, likely the former's recently abandoned property, making both their death and Koritan himself as leads nothing more than a bunch of red herrings. There usually wasn't much of a reason to off someone so far away from their home in advance if there were plenty of opportunities to get in and out before they even returned. Whatever the case, he still needed to find some evidence in order to figure out where the thief was going anyway, and depending on what it was and where he found it, things would hopefully start to clear up on their own by default. With that in mind, he then proceeded to level a question of his own towards the Matoran. "Who was Chief Researcher Koritan's predecessor, and what exactly happened to them?"
  17. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn - Wiremu's Room) The Po-Toa simply said nothing as the Tiokaha accompanying him proceeded to question the Matoran further. While the knowledge of this... "Koritan" seemed to be promising enough, they still hadn't received the exact whereabouts of his residence, and attempting to expand upon their list of potential suspects wasn't such a bad idea either, as it only served to provide them with other possible leads in the event that Dahrak's theory was still correct and that the Chief Researcher himself actually turned out to be innocent of any wrongdoing.
  18. Or they pulled a Superman-style origin for him, as in Makuta's actually the only biological child, and his parents simply ended up adopting Ekimu later, shortly after his mysterious arrival on Okoto. Having someone else suddenly thrust into his life, only to end up diverting away everyone else's attention, could've been what sparked his jealousy issues in the first place long before making masks even entered the picture, and if the residents of the Shadow Realm are originally what caused Ekimu's respective planet to fall, then it would also somewhat explain the lack of Light-based beings currently running around in comparison to those belonging to the rest of the elements. Just some food for thought.
  19. Either way, it still doesn't change the fact that the Piraka managed to kill off an entire tribe of them down in The Cord. Seeing as to how the group itself was more than capable of tangling with both the Toa Nuva and the Inika, it's a fair assumption that these two likely possessed a similar potential for success. And aside from the organic masks, the non-elemental lightning, and the immunity to Antidermis due to said lightning, the Inika pretty much possessed the exact same powers/power levels of a standard Toa.
  20. As far as I'm concerned, it's been over on my end since Post #592, and I'm over it. I've already tried to leave twice since this conversation originally started; the only reason I'm still here is because people keep responding to what I've typed up, which only results in me wanting to defend my position even further. And for the record, not only do I make an effort to read through the entirety of every single post I choose to respond to, but I also go back and reread them over again as I type. Also, I'm normally pretty chill about this sort of thing and I usually refrain from correcting people about it for the most part, but the whole "everyone and their opinions matter" speech tends to be a lot more effective when you haven't been misspelling the screen name of the person you're giving it to since January at the very least. Just saying. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but frankly, I'm done. It's already become pretty clear that this argument has generally become unwinnable, and I'd rather not waste any more of my time trying to fix something that apparently nobody else recognises as being broken. I'm just simply not going to post anymore, and leave it at that.
  21. The Zyglak page on BS01 states that Kopaka once actually managed to take on and defeat 36 of them all by himself. So the answer to that question is yes.
  22. Not going to respond to the others here, since they're "no longer up for discussion" and all, but this one I will clarify: That was why I left 2.0. However, I never ended up submitting/resubmitting any characters for 2.5, due to a multitude of different issues beforehand, as evidenced by the very first post and page of this topic. And seeing as to how I still can't post in here without getting some form of flak for my efforts or simply being outright ignored, there really isn't much of a reason to start doing so now.
  23. So basically, what you're saying is this: - Despite my concession that unenhanced robotic Villains would generally remain unaffected, as they are still essentially Civilians, just with poor morals, the Heroes as a whole are always going to possess the potential to dwarf the majority of them in pretty much everything, for really no other reason except "they're the good guys." - The only way to currently bridge that gap is to either make one of a different species entirely, or have a Villain be a former Hero in accordance to their backstory... unless some completely random and unrealistic decrease is applied to negate this afterwards, in which case, the second option is no longer viable. - Aside from the fact that the most common concept of the term "ordinary" is, in actuality, the middle ground between two extremes, thus effectively making it an average itself, the game as a whole pretty much relies on picking and choosing certain definitions of words in order to justify its own misguided theme of optimism. - And when push comes to shove, reality ultimately gives way to fantasy and fiction, so all the rules should hereby be based on the latter. This, along with the overall lack of consideration towards ideas that could potentially improve the way things work, just serves to remind me why I left in the first place. Since my concerns are apparently no longer valid, I'll just take my leave and head on back over to the Bionicle RPG Forum, where things still actually make a lick of sense.
  24. The Bionicle equivalent of Krampus: Karzahni abducting lazy Matoran and spiriting them away to his former island, only to start whipping them back into shape with his flaming chains, rocks that turn them into stone upon contact, and the abysmal attempts at rebuilding their broken bodies.
