  1. I'm not suggesting that skills and powersets should be limited to specific character types; that's a bad idea no matter how you look at it, unless it's due to some kind of plot reason, and even then, it's still usually frowned upon. What I'm talking about falls more in line with traditional RPG stats, such as strength, intelligence, constitution, and all that jazz. Yes, I do get that this is text-based and not a tabletop. No, I'm not saying that actual numbers, or even the exact stats themselves, need to be implemented. Those are clearly unnecessary complications. The differences between the profile classifications are not lost on me either, contrary to what people may or may not believe. If we threw all the robots seen in HF into a giant pot, then yeah, Civilians would be the most numerous, definitely. But since the system currently in place keeps them relatively divided, they shouldn't be counted towards anything involving numbers that's soley meant to specifically represent Heroes. So unfortunately, they do have two completely different standards, represented by picking out a handful of individuals from each group, adding up the combined total of their respective stat measurements, and then dividing those numbers by the current amount of participants; hence the term average. Obviously, there isn't going to be an exact blueprint for this sort of thing, seeing as to how those respective amounts are bound to fluctuate with every individual added in afterwards, but the ranges produced by the formula still reflect the general midpoint for the current batch. And again, if the Heroes are created specifically to be better than the Civilians they protect, then the average Civilian aspects are not going to be standard to them from their point of view, as their stats are normally collectively greater in general. On top of all that, if Villains are still being measured on the Civilian scale, then it truly doesn't matter what physical powers they happen to have in the first place. Assuming there was an already pre-established super-strength modifier (let's say 3x), for example, a Hero (7) would still have a very clear edge over a Villain (4) with the exact same ability (21 as opposed to 12, respectively), simply because they would've originally been created with a higher base-level of strength. Same goes for speed, toughness, endurance, etc. Sure, two different individuals on opposing sides who have the same ability aren't going to bump into each other all the time, but by that logic, it's still pretty clear that the Villains arent exactly playing on the same field as the Heroes. Which is a problem, seeing as to how they still have an advantage no matter what numbers one decides to plug in, especially when they're already capable of feats way beyond that of human beings. Now, Villains who choose to be more subtle with their activities likely wouldn't be affected by this all that much, but seeing as to how a good percentage of the robotic ones from canon have likely upgraded themselves to the point where they're no longer recognisable as Civilians, is it really all that unreasonable to assume that some of these extra modifications can serve to potentially correct this inbalance and even things back out? I mean, the Brains were able to transform the majority of the creatures they were controlling to the point where they were at least on par with Heroes during their attack on the Assembly Tower, which is what some of the others eventually end up doing to themselves anyway, so it's not like there isn't a precedent for this sort of thing. As far as Sapphire is concerned, realistically, she would've likely had to enhance herself in order to compensate for the additional stress her powers would put her body through regardless, seeing as to how she doesn't seem to be wearing out any of her joints at an accelerated rate, or simply snapping off her limbs every time she tries to use her ability. If I had to hazard a guess, it would probably be somewhere along the lines of a slight increase in strength and toughness, possibly placing her within the parameters of an average-level Hero in relation to those attributes at the very least. Add in my previous example with Surge, and tipping over small cars suddenly becomes very feasible.
  2. Just because I stopped playing doesn't mean I stopped spectating. I've just been extremely subtle about it up until now. Trust me, I'd like to return to the sidelines myself, but if I see something that I take issue with, I still feel the need to point it out, even if it's only to help prevent similar problems from leaking into the RPGs that I do still actually attempt to play... even if they don't happen to acknowledge all the time I invest in them. And from my perspective, it doesn't really matter if the entire situation originally did start off with Onaku joking around or not; it still somehow managed to shed some light on what either appears to be a faulty game mechanic or, as Zippy has previously suggested, some very confusing wording choices at the very least. Last time I checked, it was still part of the GM's job description to take the time to review and resolve these things when they eventually pop up. Not trying to imply anything negative, of course, but I figured I'd probably get a little bit farther by bringing it up here instead of traveling two towns over and pulling aside an employee from my local Wal-Mart.
  3. Well, to be perfectly fair, we did already encounter some of the Amulets in question; the Ga side managed to bring two back, and the Ko side did manage to run off with one more than their quest NPC originally possessed, so obtaining them really isn't the issue. What we're actually waiting for is more along the lines of our quest loot as payment for services rendered, seeing as to how both expeditions were supposedly being funded by their respective villages. Theoretically, it's possible to still obtain at least one if you can get an approval, but pulling anything out of that temple of yours that isn't simply widgets or common valuables might stall your completion time just a bit.
  4. 1. Like I said, this is the part I actually agree with. The average Hero would be naturally stronger, tougher, etc., than the average robotic Civilian, as that's just how they are built. Again, aside from the fact that the Heroes were created in order to respond to the activities of the Villains, who would need to be on par with them on at least some level as to not be considered underpowered, this I have no issue with. 2./3. I'm still arguing my point here because you literally just said that Sapphire possesses average, Civilian-level strength, simply because she is not a Hero, and because Civilians are the standard robot model in general. In actuality, however, Civilian-level anything still only applies to Civilians. On the flipside, said Villains would also be swapping out their stat thresholds to those more akin to that of the Hero template, simply by making the leap into villainy, as that's quite literally part of how they keep up with whoever's trying to capture them every other day or so. Therefore, the average strength level of a Civilian would be marginally less than the average strength level of either a Hero or Villain by default, which also applies to super-strength as well, as the latter two have either started off as or have turned themselves into completely different models entirely. Being built or rebuilt in order to account for that gap with relatively minor enhancements is more along the lines of working out or going through basic training; my neighbor isn't The Flash simply because he can run faster than me, and I'm certainly not Superman just because I can lift a bit more than him. This implies that there are actually two entirely separate sets of standards: one for Civilians, and one for Heroes and Villains. Seeing as to how I just got through explaining how Surge, a Hero who apparently no one can find any actual definitive evidence proving whether or not he does indeed possess super-strength, managed to pull off such a feat, this effectively means that anyone who isn't a standard Civilian model has the potential to theoretically tip over a compact car without necessarily having to obtain that specific quality in question, as the capability to do so remains well within their natural individual strength parameters. And yes, this does rely quite a bit on assumptions, but it also sort of has to, as we haven't yet discovered or produced any similar robotic lifeforms that we can study for the sake of accuracy, so the current tech and knowledge that we do have will have to suffice for now. 4. I'm not saying that standard-level Hero thresholds are the average for all robots in the HF universe, just that they're the average for Heroes. Likewise, the same would also apply to Civilians and Villains, respectively. Stating that a Hero or Villain possesses a so-called "superior" ability, just because it is only slightly better than what their Civilian counterparts have access to due to differing model types, is still an inaccurate representation of the term's usage, and only serves to confuse and undersell people when they sit down and take the time to try to figure out what their characters are actually capable of.
  5. Aside from a staff member, you'd probably have to also get in touch with Keeper about that, seeing as to how the he's the one currently running the Amulet Questline and all. Then again, the previous group still hasn't even received their rewards yet, so you might have to wait a bit for conformation.
  6. The only source I can find detailing the exact nature of Surge's strength is his page on the Heropedia wiki, which simply states that he is "strong," and not of the vastly superior variety either; he couldn't even help Bulk unpin himself from a pile of construction girders as a 1.0. And yes, the robot he was assisting couldn't do the deed himself, so there is a difference between Civilian-level and Hero-level; that much I agree. However, Surge only flipped over the car, and wasn't attempting to lift the entire thing up off of the ground, which means that he wasn't even technically supporting all of its weight. Factoring in the general difference between base-level robots and humanoid organics, that of Heroes and Civilians, and the size of the vehicle in question (assuming it did, of course, belong to the compact variety), he'd only have to lift about 600 lbs. more than that of your average adult male cow in order to pick it up entirely, for a combined total of about roughly 3,000 lbs. or 1.5 tons. If the average adult human body is only 135 lbs., and you multiply that by 8 in order to account for the metal (in this case, steel), he's still only moving an object three times his own weight, thus his relative strength there would actually be comparable to that of a body-builder. Divide that by about half, and that's where he actually stands in comparison. Granted, this ratio does tend to increase if you substitute steel for titanium, as the modifier there is only 4.5, but he'd also be potentially opening himself up to more physical damage via attacks and simply using the ability in question at that point if that's what his frame was generally made up of, since titanium's physically weaker than steel by default. It's really only better for Heroes who possess temperature resistances, want to be less effected by magnetism, or the occasional organic who'd like to... well, not be constantly poisoned by their shiny new limb. While a Civilian probably would view that as super-strength, that's still pretty average for a Hero in all actuality, seeing as to how Heroes are naturally built to be physically better than them and all. And no, I'm not mixing them up; if there's three different classes of characters, then they should be treated as such and have their own various stat plateaus to divide them. Basically, what I'm trying to say here is that an attribute should remain relative to the being that possesses it; to an ant, we're huge, but to us, they're small. By extension, Civilians think of Heroes and Villains as stronger while the Heroes see them as beings who need protecting and the Villains generally feel that they're easier to crush. Grading them all by a single standard doesn't do anyone justice. In fact, all it does is muddy things up and make them even more confusing than they originally were to begin with. Unfortunately, by this logic, the standard threshold for Villain stats would also need to be increased above Civilian-level as well, otherwise the Heroes would pretty much be able to instantaneously kill or knock them all out with one punch, and people would be less likely to run away from someone in terror if they could theoretically beat them in an arm-wrestling match. Case in point, Rotor's ability to toss Furno 1.0 around by his leg like a ragdoll using only one hand. Fun fact; most of a being's capability to lift actually stems from their legs, contrary to popular belief, and not their arms. Taking that into consideration, he wouldn't have had access to his peak potential, seeing as to how he was actually lying on his back at the time he was doing so. This only supports the notion even further, as a move like that just isn't possible in real life, no matter how ripped you are, unless your opponent possesses the height and weight of a small child, primarily because you lack the proper leverage and positioning. Simply put, he would've likely required some type of additional buff in order to pull that off, seeing as to how his page makes no mention of how stong he is at all, which leads me to believe it doesn't deviate that much from standard Villain-level strength. Honestly, I assumed that the forklift thing was part of the joke as well. Either way, if general Hero attributes are greater than those of civilians, and the same thing can be said for the Villains, which it technically can, then that effectively puts them more or less on the same page as the Heroes they fight. If not, that would defeat the entire purpose of the game itself, as there's really no reason for either of them to even exist in the first place, seeing as to how the Villain problem could've just as easily been solved ages ago by an angry mob of civilians wielding the equivalent of pitchforks and torches.
  7. Surge doesn't either, aside from the slight increase his upgrades provided him with. Didn't stop him from single-handedly pushing one back over onto its wheels at the end of Brain Attack, though, and all during the span of a single second to boot. Granted, the actual vehicle in question seemed like it only had enough room for the driver in comparison to the actual characters, and the feat could have simply been due to its smaller design or lighter overall components for all we know, but the fact is that it was still possible to perform using only a standard Hero-level strength threshold, so Sapphire herself effectively doing the same before Kat could muster up a proper reaction remains well within the realm of possibility. In other words, seeing as to how he didn't explicitly do anything outside of the rules while flipping said car, or even go so far as to list its exact specifications, both canon and fair-play dictate that Onaku's still technically in the right on this one. With that being said, I take my leave once again.
  8. Well, like I said, everyone's pretty much in Onu-Koro already; if we end up timeskipping, we're more than likely going to pick back up shortly before our characters attempt to leave. Having Azi run into us then and there would probably be slightly easier for you... and just a tad bit more believable, to be perfectly honest.
  9. Everyone currently involved is in Onu-Koro. The actual hunt itself will be taking place down in Mangaia, inside the Kini-Nui topic. Might want to give us some time to establish our timeskip or whatever and see if the others are still participating first, though. Fanixe or I will likely post an update here once we're actually ready to depart.
  10. Read the quote in my last post, Azureus.
  11. OOC: Azureus, Gear just finished saying here that the Ussalry Quest was no longer taking on new players and/or characters. That means Rodyr, Thodir, Cotan, Dahrak, and Flabbergaster are all unfortunately off-limits for the time being as far as interaction is concerned. Please go back and edit your post. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn - Wiremu's Room) Figuring a short nod would suffice as a greeting, Dahrak wasted little time getting straight to the point. "A request, actually," he said. "The guards at the station have reason to believe that the thief who broke into your house knew precisely what he was looking for. Seeing as to how the documents in question were of a classified nature, this means that, aside from the perpetrator himself, the number of people who even knew of their existence would be limited at best." He paused for a moment, mostly just to catch his breath, but to also let the information sink in a little before continuing. "So unless he's been shadowing you for quite some time, managed to remain completely undetected by you and those you happen to interact with on a daily basis within both the government and the Ussalry, and was simply lucky enough to peg those papers specifically as an item of value, someone's likely been feeding him information. In other words, if you could provide a list of names and addresses regarding the individuals who had access to the stolen goods, it may not only aid in his capture and the return of your property, but potentially identify a traitor in your midst as well."
  12. Aside from Dhalgira and Ezrak, we had Gallan (Shadow Destroyer) and Nokula (Junior Shark). Reiterating what Fanixe said earlier, in case people missed it; if you want to join up, you still can. Just say the word, and we'll delay our departure for a bit.
  13. IC: Verulas (Spectre) - Obsidian Outpost (Courtyard) To be honest, the Bo-Toa was kind of astonished. Not that the Skakdi had managed to one-up him or anything, since truth be told, he hadn't, but the fact that it was actually physically possible for beings this dense to survive out on their own without someone holding their hands still managed to throw him for a bit of a loop. You do realise that there's an entirely separate building attached to that cable car, right...? Sure, nobody else but Kain was currently outside from the look of things, but the outpost itself was just as likely filled to the brim with armed mercenaries getting their drink on, those of which who would either immediately jump at the chance for some action or get severely ticked off from the sudden spike in noise pollution at the very least. Granted, there was a slight possibility that the crowd outside might try to gang up on him in the event that their newest "guest" started running his mouth, but between the Ta-Matoran coming to his aid and the other "guards" rushing outside to do the same, they would also probably back off pretty quickly as well once his side of the story became that much more believable. Brushing some imaginary snow off of his shoulder in order to show his new adversary that he wasn't afraid to call his bluff if he had to, he put on the best goody-two-shoes persona he could possibly muster before flashing a grin as he prepared to raise his voice. "Sorry, citizen, but I have no idea as to what these Pit-Wiggans you speak of even are, nevermind how to find their secret mating grounds in the sky," he said, loud enough for everyone else in the courtyard to possibly overhear. "Now if you'll excuse me, it seems that I have... other visitors to attend to." Pleased that he had potentially succeeded in destroying the Skakdi's image of sanity in front of all of his potential allies, Verulas simply shrugged afterwards as he proceeded to approach the other group... only for somebody else to exit the premises and beat him to the punch. "I was just about to ask the very same thing," he piped up, only to turn his attention towards the Toa of Plasma who was formerly knocking. "Also, ma'am, I'm afraid I'm going to have to insist that you stop taking your aggression out on our door. Those things aren't exactly cheap to replace, you know." OOC: Ask, and you shall receive... after about a nine-month waiting period. Our customer service is absolutely terrible.
  14. We're still more or less in the same spot, and Gear did just say it was cool for Kranan to join, so I don't see why you couldn't jump in. Speaking of Onu, whatever happened to that Rahkshi hunt we were supposed to go on? You know, with Ezrak, Dhalgira, and company?
  15. IC: Verulas (Spectre) - Obsidian Outpost (Courtyard) "First of all, no ####, Sherlock," he responded quietly. "Maybe you should've actually taken that possibility into consideration before deciding to attack me back in Ga-Koro." "Secondly, how is that my problem? I'm not responsible for your life choices, you are. Blaming total strangers for your own mistakes? Now that just straight up unhealthy, man... no matter how you choose to interpret that."
  16. So in other words, I just spent 6+ hours coming up with another unusable profile. Again. Can't say I'm surprised. Why I even bother at this point is beyond me.
  17. Character: Name: Kestra Species: Kestora Gender: Female Powers: Proportionately enhanced strength, agility, and durability, due to an extensive and ongoing process of self-modification in response to her current environment. Gear: Blades of Torpor: Two swords of Skrall design, modified to fatigue those who come into contact with them. Often handled with a reverse grip for greater stability during flight. Retractable Dissectors: Artificial, scalpel-like claws surgically embedded into her fingers. Normally employed to assist with her surgeries, usually while neglecting to apply anesthetics, but can also serve as a secondary means of self-defense. Personal Aircraft: The Red Star Allegiance/Role: Warrior/Scientist. Despite occasionally moonlighting as a doctor, her bedside manner is absolutely abysmal, she has an unfortunate habit of vivesecting her patients for little to no reason, and they often wake up later, only to discover that they've been unnecessarily enhanced in some way without their permission. Needless to say, she's a current citizen of Fe, as they're the only settlement in The Great Barren willing to tolerate (and sometimes even fund) her unethical and often inhumane experiments, though even this relationship is subject to becoming strained at times. Appearance: Kestra possesses an appearance similar to that of a Matoran or Agori, only substantially more alien and significantly more unnerving. She wears a purple, powerless Kanohi Pakari, perfect for obscuring everything aside from her uncaring pink eyes, and the rest of her body is mostly shades of red and black. Two additional gliding wings have been attached to the backs of her arms, mostly to ensure a smoother landing in the event that her jetpack runs out of fuel, and her legs have been rebuilt so that they are now digitigrade. Personality: Being a Kestora, Kestra lacks any form of empathy or compassion whatsoever, preferring instead to rely soley on science and a disturbing sense of logic. Her primary directive is to eventually somehow find a way to return to the Red Star, if at all possible, but is content with gathering as much knowledge as she can in the meantime, hoping to discover the exact cause of the sapience displayed amongst the former inhabitants of the GSR so that she can better her people in the event that they themselves somehow managed to remain unaffected. Bio: Kestra was once a normal Kestora working to revive the deceased beings of the Matoran Universe, until a lab mishap caused her to trip and stumble into a recently repaired Vortixx as he was being teleported back to Xia, thus stranding her inside the body of Mata Nui. Soon afterwards, she began to notice the residents of the island beginning to act outside of their usual parameters, and, after automatically assuming that they had somehow become defective, set out to study the phenomenon despite the fact that they were becoming increasingly hostile in response to her attempts at vivesecting them. Eventually, things got so bad that they even razed her makeshift laboratory, destroying all of the research notes that she had suddenly found herself writing in the language they had created before eventually driving her off of the landmass entirely. And it was at that moment, as she was fleeing for her life, when Kestra herself felt her first emotion; fear. Realising that she had been exposed to whatever happened to be causing this catastrophe, and that even the robot itself seemed to be displaying similar symptoms, she resolved to immediately enter seclusion, daring to hope that they were simply due to a series of glitches and bugs in their programing and that they would eventually pass before things would inevitably go back to normal. Unfortunately for her, however, they never did. Every day seemed to bring with it a new experience, but the ones that always seemed to stick with her were anger, disgust, despair, and pain. Occasionally, she would force them all aside long enough to secure herself nutrition (though she rarely ate, mostly due to the fact that both hunger and taste were still quite the overwhelming sensations at the time) or to obtain a new test subject (these usually possessed little in the way of obtainable knowledge, as she had to work with crude implements ever since she was forced to abandon her tools to the Vortixx), but eventually gave up and decided that it was finally time to accept her fate as a malfuntioning scrap-heap, leading her to depart from the system of caves she had previously taken refuge in as she resolved to confront what was left of her destiny head-on. But upon discovering that the MU hadn't devolved into complete anarchy in her absence, and in fact, seemed to actually be thriving (though at that point, she still couldn't tell if it had left them better or worse off than before), she suddenly found herself both relived and positively ecstatic. Not for them, of course; sapience or not, she was still a Kestora after all, but the fact that the simple act of tripping didn't necessarily mean she was fated for a descent into madness while other homicidally deranged beings attempted to tear her limb from limb was still rather... refreshing, to say the least. Figuring that a more in-depth analysis of the resulting phenomenon was required, she made her way down to the nearest settlement, only to bump into a drunken Steltian Bruiser, who was in the process of stumbling out of the local bar. Stating that he had never seen her kind before and inquiring as to what she was, she simply responded by mentioning the name of her species, which was then mistakingly mispronounced due to his inebriation, and before she even knew what was going on, her brain had already accepted it as her new designation; Kestra. Having gained a small semblance of what would later develop into full-blown individuality, she took to traveling, further increasing her knowledge of both the new world around her and her own ever expanding sense of self. After the GSR returned to Bara Magna in order to reform the planet, which she largely avoided the events leading up to, due to their interference with her research, she evacuated with the rest of its former inhabitants and eventually wound up in Fe. Aircraft: Name: The Red Star Model: Jetpack Weaponry: None Customisation: Fairly standard features, such as weapon and item storage, additional fuel tanks, and a parachute. Appearance: Standard Karda Nui jetpack appearance, aside from the purely cosmetic red spike located at the top. Typed up under the impression that Velika (or whatever the cause of it within the MU of this universe) likely employed some type of dispersal method, either Mata Nui himself or something else entirely, for the sapience programming, as going around and trying to upload it onto every being individually seemed like it would be extremely time-consuming and honestly, just a tad bit unnecessary. Either way, still explains why the majority of the Kestora didn't receive it, seeing as to how their populations only seem to exist within the City of Silver dimension and the Red Star itself, and why Kestra did, as she was stranded inside the GSR before it happened. Should be good to look over now. I really need to learn to cool it on the Bio sections; they're absolute murder on my hand when I go to rewrite them.
  18. A few more pirates and bandits in Cliffside would also be nice. At this rate, we'll have to start determining who our future characters will interact with beforehand just to keep the game populated enough to play.
  19. IC: Verulas (Spectre) - Obsidian Outpost (Courtyard) And of course, just as he had dared to assume that things couldn't possibly get any worse, a certain Skakdi just had to appear in his peripheral vision. "Oh, you have got to be freaking kidding me," he mumbled under his breath, before stopping and eventually turning to face him. "And just what the Karz are you doing here?"
  20. Past Bitils only remained in the present so long as the mask was active, and summoning more of them was known to strain his concentration even further. While it's likely he very well could've pulled off having an army soley consisting of himself, it'd be subject to one giant exploitable weakness (kill one, and the timeline essentially rewrites itself so that it never existed in the first place), and it's numbers would be nowhere near infinite. Also, the memory wipe only occured once his past versions were sent back to their own times, in an attempt to prevent them from exploiting their knowledge of the future. If the knowledge isn't contained in his brain, then it doesn't affect it. Again, if we're working within the assumption that a Mohtrek user is pulling copies from himself out of his own personal timeline, and we aren't simply switching over to another in some alternate universe in the event that one of them die, then this suggests that time (as it functions in Bionicle, anyway) is capable of both repairing itself and resolving any and all paradoxes and inconsistencies that happen to occur while doing so. Taking that into consideration, some events would then also have to be rewritten in the process, such as the means of their actual death in question, and everything else from that point forward, to account for the fact that the previous timeline from then on no longer exists. So if Bitil were to summon a past version of himself and Tahu was to stab it in the face, then the resulting timeline would also have to rewrite itself so that a past version of Tahu was somehow present in the location in time that Bitil would'e otherwise been sent back to in order to do the deed, as the version of Tahu that previously did so would no longer exist, hence resolving the paradox. And that's just in the event that Tahu was still the one who managed to perform the actual stabbing in question after the restructuring, and that one of the other Makuta didn't end up doing so simply because they were tired of looking at him. Basically, what I'm trying to say here is this; while Bitil giving one of his past selves a set of instructions to follow would certainly have the potential to null the future that said instructions originally came from, the resulting collapse of the paradox due to the sudden course-correction of the timeline itself would make it as if he originally decided to perform those actions on his own in the first place, thus eliminating both his future self and their intervention while still maintaining the desired outcome.
  21. IC: Verulas (Spectre) - Obsidian Outpost (Courtyard Entrance) Breathing in a sigh of relief as he had finally reached the courtyard, he finally stepped inside, only to be met with the sight of a crowd gathering around the doors to the actual building. Seeing as to how they all had yet to notice his presence, he quickly crossed over to the cable car in order to chat with Kain and find out why the place had become so popular in his absence. "Karz... Did someone go recruiting while I was gone? Because if you hadn't noticed already... I'm not exactly tour guide material." "Nah, those geniuses are looking to hit up Ihu," the Ta-Matoran responded. "Probably here to help with the war effort." "Great. More people who want to hang around and possibly stick their noses where they clearly don't belong. That's exactly what we needed." "They've been banging on the doors nonstop for the past five minutes or so, hoping that someone would let them inside. Thought it was quite amusing at first, but now I sort of wish they'd just take the hint and leave already. Can't even remember whether they paid me or not." Shaking his head in silence, the Bo-Toa quickly tried to change the subject. "Hey, uh, the Boss Lady's still inside, right?" "As far as I know. Why?" "Let's just say that I left with three teammates, completed a job, and now I only have this fairly large sack of widgets to show for it." As well as a few beats from the heartlight of a certain thief that I myself am now also apparently attracted to... How the Karz did that happen? "Ouch. Wouldn't want to be in your shoes right now." "No, you... you really wouldn't." And with that, he simply shuffled himself back through the snow, hoping that the mob would let him inside without too much trouble as he tried to figure out exactly how much of his current situation needed to be passed on to his superior. OOC: Ghidora, Ihu Group, you're up.
  22. IC: Dahrak Nade - Onu-Koro (Golden Pickaxe Inn) Shifting his gaze from the guard to the crate and then back to the guard, the Po-Toa simply rolled up his sleeves, pulled open his jacket, and spun around slowly just to show off that he possessed absolutely no weapons of any kind to give up. No sword at his hip, no hidden daggers, and no ranged weapons. He was completely and utterly unarmed. One of the benefits of focusing pretty much the entirety of your fighting style around martial arts and power usage. Assuming that his little display satisfied everyone's curiosity, he simply glanced up at the Tiokaha, making it rather clear that they were all now waiting on him to do the same.
  23. It's not that I'm affraid to do so, it's just that I haven't had much of a reason to. Should that change, I'll free someone up. Haven't touched Kentoku either, but that's an entirely separate can of worms.
  24. Trust me, if I knew we were allowed to go beyond Cryoshell references, the list would've been much longer.
  25. I sense a trend coming. Character Profiles Projected To Exist By The End Of The Year: Cryo and Chell Krepenan and My Soul Klozertu and The Truth Fazem and E Gra, Vity, and Hertz Brea and The Kout
