  1. I voted Bionicle because while I viewed the sets as better, the story has shown immense potential
  2. Imo irs okay as long as you are confident about what you are getting I'm probably not the best judge of such things as I haven't actually bought a song in over a year
  3. I'd assume licensing fees and small sets usually have less bang for the buck compared with larger sets
  4. Miserex cause it would be cool to have a good Makuta. Def the Toa Hagah because the only two they made are some of my favorite Toa ever. Other historic figures such as Lhikan's squad and Lariska would have been amazing haha
  5. Haha I have so many. I remember getting the brown Bohrok when I was three or four and having to hide it from my Mom, playing with Matoro and all the other 2003 sets after half day preschool and kindergarten. Posing by Tahu, Lewa, and Gali at Lego Land in California. Watching the first Bionicle movie on the way to Cali. Building Makuta for the first time. Building Axonn and Matoro after picking them out at the store. Buying Gelu with my hard earned money. Getting Mata Nui gor Christmas. Haha Bionicles have and will be a great part of my life
  6. I really liked it
  7. Mine isn't as cool as you guys but I was looking for the new Bonkles in all of the stores (Toys are Us, WalMart, the regulars) and none of them had it. Discouraged I went to Barnes and Noble to buy a book with the money I had saved up. There, I found all the new sets and was able to buy them all!!!
  8. Haha idk what I'll do with my Bionicles I can't just get rid of them but I don't know what I can do with them during and after college.
  9. For the small sets, the 03 Kohliitoran. I started liking Bionicle that year and most of the other small sets never intrigued me. For the hero sets, the 04 Toa were my favorites because I love the way they look. It was a hard decision against the Glatorian who I thought were great and the Toa Nuva (03) whom I really liked. For the villains it was the Glatorian haha
  10. I never liked them because I felt that if I wanted Lego System there were better sets out there and if I wanted Bionicles there were better sets out there
  11. How does the HP sets compare to the 2012 ones?
  12. My oldest is the Jack Stone set and my eldest Bonkle is the original brown Bohrok
  13. Alpha Team, Bionicles, and Knights Kingdom are the only themes from the early 2000s that I ever reminisce about
  14. Thanks so much for all your help guys
  15. 2009 was my favorite year for sets since 04. I also thought the characters were a lot more fleshed out than Bionicle had done in previous years, but overall the story wasn't the best.
  16. 2001 would have been better had the Rahi not been so breakable. Whenever they go into storage they never come out the same. 2002 would have been better had the Bohrok not been swarm villains. 2003 would have been better if the Rahkshi had cooler powers 2004 would have been better if Krekka had larger arms 2005 would have been better if they had released the rest of the Toa Hagah. 2006 would have been better if the story hadn't been so dark and the Toa had more personality. Also, the Toa Nuva's defeat was unnecessary 2007 would have been better if it hadn't talked about death and destruction the whole year 2008 would have been better if the Toa had weapons, the story was expanded, and if the Toa had a better color scheme. 2009 would have been better had the sets' limbs not been so breakable. I can't even play with Mata Nui any more
  17. I'd love it if exo force could come back, I've been trying to rebuild my older sets but it is actually very hard..
  18. Haha I really liked this!
  19. I'm going to ask for the new sets for me birthday in September haha
  20. This is one bit of evidence showing Lego didn't quite plan out as much as they thought.
  21. I think that it was just a thing that Lego thought to include to get the old fans interested in the story
  22. I think it would be interesting if they followed the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy for the first three years. First year, the main bad guy is defeated (Makuta) and his accomplice is imprisoned (LoSS) but helps the villains in the later stories. Second year, a chaotic villain comes who stretches the heroes' virtues and morality. The third year, the force behind the first villain attack again (Mask of Ultimate Power). So, I'd like it if Makuta was no longer a villain after the first year
  23. I have an extra Lewa knife in that color too! Thanks for showing that improvement!
