I just wanted to thank takanuinuva for coming up with a very nice and symmetrical kanohi suva for the 2015 masks. I recently got the parts to build one, and could not be happier with the result. I made a few small changes, but nothing major. Takanuinuva's topic can be found here, and I will be putting up pictures of the suva I made sometime later today. EDIT: Sorry for the extreme delay, but I had family come over unexpectedly, and thus had little time to snap pictures. without further ado: The Kanohi Suva This is its unactivated form, and only becomes activated by the mask of time. This is the activated form, and when used in conjunction with the mask of time, send out a beam of energy calling forth heroes from the heavens. Gallery

It looks pretty good, but the gold doesn't seem to mesh all that well. The little bits of bright red, blue and orange make it look less uniform as well. The forearms are kinda gappy, but the good thing is all of the problems can be easily remedied. All in all a pretty solid moc. KUTGW

I actually had this in mind when I was writing the post, but decided against it. I guess great minds think alike . Thank you! The lower legs were actually the last things built, i felt that the black shells were a little too basic and added the lower leg gaurs to add more orange. The head is what inspired me to make the whole creation, so thank you. The male is the one with yellow eyes, and the female is the one with orange eyes. The gills on the male is this piece on the lower part of the head. I didn't add any tubes because that really restricted the heads movement.

Okoto has many a wide variety of wildlife, some new and some familiar to a well traveled visitor. Here are two of them, predator and prey, the Okotoan Energy Hound, and the Okoto Rocket bird. The Okotoan Energy Hound(s) Flickr Album The Okoto version of the Energy hound is amphibious, with males having more pronounced gills. Some have been trained by the villagers to help with hunting. Most wild Hounds enjoy the thrill of the hunt and often go after elusive prey such as the Okoto Rocket bird. Okoto Rocket Bird: Flickr Album The Okoto Rocket bird is a species of supersonic flightless birds that often leave their would be predators in the dust. However, when cornered, their armored claws make formidable weapons. In order to be able to expend as much energy as they do, they must eat foods rich in energy, and thus mainly eat leaves from the fire bush, and ruby racers, a small snake found throughout the region of Okoto.

So ive been juggling around mocs, working on one, then working on a different one, and another and another, working on each a little at a time, with the main focus on the dragon, the biggest moc that I have worked on thus far. Here are some pictures of some of the works in progress that I have been fiddling with. First up, the Dragon's Head: The head was inspired by Ballom's Frang Kaai, but I intend to make a larger dragoon than the beauty he made. Next up is Hewkii Mahri: Hewkii was originally going to be my BBCC #69 contest entry, but when I started building an adversary for him, things got rolling in another direction. I'm not too sure about the bley bones, and the cordak blaster, and plan to change them eventually. Now, Hahli Mahri: Unfortunately, therre are no dark blue shells in CCBS, so i tried to make due with trans blue. I tried adding lime in with the color scheme, but it ended up looking too messy for my likes, so I replaced it with silver. The lime mask is a stand in till I can find her original mask. The eyes are hard to make out because of this, as they are lime spikes. Next up, Jallers Crab: Jaller is pretty much complete, but I'm not satisfied with how his crab is now, I feel like it's just missing something. I am trying to make the Mahri within a certain theme, they all, with the exception of Hewkii for obvious reasons, will have the same head, and different feet, or something along those lines. The head was the hardest part to come up with, as my previous solution did not allow for masks with visors. The one that I have created now has overcome that obstacle, but now needs another piece to allow for masks with studs to attach. The solution: Depending on how visible the top axle will be, it can be interchanged with a black axle of the same length, or left as is. Sadly, the spikes only come in so many colors, so i did what became so commonplace for bionicle in its later years, green for good guys, red for bad guys. Please, comment below with any critiques on how I can improve these works in progress.

Would it be possible to buy the Mask of fire that is already made, or would another have to be made for purchase?

Well, if it's a personal reason I don't think an explanation is needed, per se We just have to trust that the mods have the right intentions I was thinking more along the lines of like a more general explanation, like "Oh, I got sick, sorry for the delay", not going into specifics, like detailing what they came down with and how severe it was, etc. I would just rather them address it than seemingly ignore the issue. But maybe that's just me.

Once the polls are put up, I think an explanation as to why the polls were heavily delayed would be appreciated.

Is there a predicted date for when the polls will be put up, or will it just be when it happens, it happens?

Regarding the recent delay in puting up voting polls, I believe I have cracked the code. In the topic, nowhere does it say regular members will be the ones voting on entries. I believe that the admins are infact the ones who will be/are voting. The reason the polls are up and no one can readily access it? It is an admin only poll. The admins have thus far been unavailable in the BBCC #69 topic due to them only being able to announce the finalists and then they will be able to resume their normal duties. That or tufi got sick, or had personal issues to take care of that have thusfar kept them from completing their normal duties. Which option sounds more likely? You decide.

Something most likely happened/came up and tufi or whoever sets the polls up has been unable to do so for the past couple of days. I don't think they are willfully being negligent about not putting up the polls.

I wonder if the voting has been pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances and they just haven't had the time to let us know. I'm not for sure if one day will be enough to get all of the preliminary voting out of the way.

Maybe they're trying to get ahold of the people who's entry pictures aren't working.

So, silver looks better than gold, you're saying? Thanks. I think so, too. Ackar had silver in his original color scheme, sure it was only one piece, but one silver piece is more than 0 gold pieces. So yeah, I think the silver definitely looks better on Ackar than gold.

That looks much more cohesive and a real 2.0 version of Ackar. That one probably could've held its own in the BBCC. I really dig the old one though, it just feels more like Ackar than the newer one. The newer one is a good moc, just not necessarily as good of an Ackar moc as the previous version. If that makes any sense.

And now I'm also disappointed because I managed to misspell the title of this entry. *facepalm*

Ive been looking for a golden Thok spine for a while and came upon one on bricklink not too long ago fro under three dollars and the store had no minimum purchase. Excited, I immediately went to go get it, and a couple other pieces that the seller happens to have. After getting evberything I want, I go to press the checkout button and see a spot of red in the upper righthand corner. "Seller does not ship to me" Utter disappointment. I just feel silly now because I didn't see that right away. Sigh. It was gonna be such a steal. Oh well, I guess Ill just have to pay attention more haha.

That's a real stretch of the imagination as the only things this MOC has in common with PoI is it has the same torso beam, is white and trans blue, and has the saw blade from the protector. Anyway, I really like how you tried to make Nuju's right arm similar to his movies counterpart and it's nice to see people using the gearbox in new and inventive ways. Solid MOC and good luck in the contest.

I know what you mean, I faced a similar adversity when building my entry. Whereas I just decided to switch the dark blue to black, you kept it, so kudos for that, Don't get me wrong, the gold suits him, its really just the blockiness of the chest compared to the rest of him which seems so smooth. And, by the way, your pictures are more than adequate enough to do your model justice.

Let me first start off with saying that I love your work, a good majority of your mocs are my favorite mocs. That being said, I never thought the day would come when I don't love a moc of yours. This moc is great, well built, very large, and very much in your style. It combines gen 1 and 2 really well, and is very imposing. However, to me at least, it doesn't look like Ancient. I don't know if its how the chest is built, or the way the head is built, but its really only those two things that while being well built, don't really feel like Ancient. But again, really astounding moc, and I'm sure it will go far in the contest. Good job.
