As for why I don't play in Kentoku is that, as a race, the Dasaka bore me. They seem to be a combination of Amazons and various Asian cultures. Honestly, I've never cared much for Amazons and while I have nothing against Asia, I feel that they're overused in pop culture.
Now, if the Dasaka were influenced by say, Romans or Vikings, then maybe I'd have a good reason to make a Dasaka.

Kohran, are you implying something? That Salvus and Daler might be.... THE SAME PERSON?
Dun dun DUN!
Except, Daler joined on the 30th and Salvus on the 7th. So, yeah, myth busted.
*sad trumpet.*
Unless, you WEREN'T implying that. If that's the case, please just pretend this post doesn't exist.

I countersue and the judge rules in my favor.
My mask!

That one theme with the ball-jointed action figures that had these gears that you turned so they could knock off each other's masks. That was pretty weird.
Do you mean Ultimate Judge: Masker? I know a guy who had Trua, it was pretty weird.

How dare you mock the profile pic impaired?
The National Association For The Advancement of New Users (NAANU) forces you to give your mask to me.

You seriously think that TLM was more mature than Bionicle?
I hope g2 is more like 06-08.
More like '06? MORE LIKE '06? MORE LIKE '06?
The most hated year of Bionicle? '06? Don't you say that word again! '06... Good grief.
As for TLM, Bionicle had imitation maturity. '06-'08 tried to be mature, but a combination of things resulted in it coming off as unnecessarily gritty.
The Lego Movie had actual maturity. True morals, a very deep symbolism, good themes... It was infinitely more mature that those years.
I raise this news article:
LEGO has released a press release reporting on its placing in the 2006 toy market, including great news for Bionicle. It sums up results across LEGO lines, which looks quite positive overall despite a tough market, and has this report: "BIONICLE ranked #2 among most requested brands among American boys in 2006(5), with double-digit sales growth." Let's hope this positive news continues in 2007!The second most desirable brand was hated by everyone? Wat.
I'm talking about longtime fans of the series hating it. Most everyone I'm friends with agree that 06 was the worst year of Bionicle, then 05, then (while I don't agree with it) 08, 10 and 09.

I don't think the mask changed, but Stannis's possession of the mask changed. Makuta's still stuck in the Legend.
Unless I'm jossed by staff or Cooper, but until then...

Gotta say that with that attitude I'd be perfectly happy with your money going elsewhere. Ninjago, "kiddy"? Space Police, "kiddy"? I suppose they are... to the extent that LEGO ITSELF is and has always been "kiddy". We are talking about a brand of children's toy. And while the later end of Bionicle's story wrapped itself in grimdark pretensions to try to appeal to adolescents who felt they were "growing out of Lego," the theme, at its core, was not significantly more deep or mature than Ninjago (and significantly less deep and mature than The Lego Movie, but that's another discussion).
Yeah, I've got to agree with you here. Just because the last year of BIONICLE was "dark" and "grim" doesn't mean the first year of Gen2 should be.
There should be one dark year of Bionicle, just to see if it works in Gen2, but if it doesn't, then they should go back to kiddy. TLM was kiddy, and that movie was great, with enough kiddy stuff for the kids and enough symbolism and nostalgia for adults.

A dual mask that's not a before-after? How dare you? Gimme that.

Plus, it's not like it 'might kill you to use the new heads. Plus, it looks less awkward to me. Should've done this a long time ago.

Necessity. They can't cross the nomansland without them.

I move that my character gets the Hiripaki. All in favor, say Aye.
[crickets]
Uh... Aye? All against, say Nay.
[every BZPRPG member youdly proclaims NAY.]
Okay. Who should have it?
[bZPRPG is either a). thrown into civil war and turmoil or b). thrust into a thoughtful and courteous discussion, the result of which is that a very experienced player receives the mask]

Thanks, Meiko. I think it's more recent than what the wiki says was the latest release, though infuriatingly it doesn't have a DL link.

SILENCE! I KEEL YOU!

I was reading that someone made a Lego Island 3 and the original post was on BZP, but it appears to have vanished. Does anyone have a copy of the game?

oh SNIP
Well... Oops. Wasn't this held a couple of months ago? Explains why I'm not up to speed with everything, but still.
I really want to love this RPG but things keep happening that irk me, except the things that irk me are minor things that everyone else can live with or things that don't even affect me.
I'm very nitpicky that way.
Perhaps, then, you should take a deep breath and a step back? The Hiripaki was, in essence, a plot device. Just like every other Legendary Mask was, in its own way. It served its purpose, and now it has been removed from play. Much like the Vahi was removed from play, except we actually explain things.
In all seriousness, however, I'd suggest thinking about whether or not getting irked over those things is actually worth the energy.
It's a subconscious thing. I get irked over the smallest things, and my nitpickiness just grows and grows and grows until I just throw my hands in the air and finally just go with the flow. It's a teenager thing.

I randomly burst into song. Ahem.
"The overture is over, the curtain starts to rise
You're suddenly in clover, you can't believe your eyes
You're sitting on the aisle, you break into a smile
Why this magic feeling? And then you realize...
That..."
IT'S MY MASK. Don't make me wear it, or the OP's gonna get real grumpy.

My guess?
Kapura did it. He found Stannis while he was sleeping, Kapura'd him, and swapped out the mask.

Well, I'm pretty sure that this goes here, but here it is. My Lego Idea. LEGO: Galaxy. You can find it here;

I implore you guys to support it and share it with your friends and family.

Come on, Cooper! You had one job. The most powerful mask in the universe, the thing that killed Makuta himself, and you broke it.
In all seriousness, though, was this a staff mandate? Cause, when playing Stannis, you expect to be able to use the Hiripaki.

At least in the comics. Of course, they did do a movie-styled Dume in the comics, and the Agori look like their hands are fused into fists permanently.
As for how they grab things, perhaps everything in the MU is technically magnetic, since everything is protodermis. Of course, that makes Toa of Magnetism very OP.

Yeah, it's like when you read a book and despite what it says, you envision the character looking completely differently.
For the entirety of the Alex Rider series, I thought his boss (a scrawny, old white guy) was a big, booming James Earl Jones type. For me, Pohatu and Lewa are both the crazy ones.

Niche? NICHE?
Let me tell you something mister, I may be American in citizenship, but I am a proud Dane at heart, and calling a game based on Norse culture niche just... it just makes me want to
DESTROY THE WORLD!
Ahem. My bad.
Back on topic, did I ever say Japan exclusively? I said Asia. While, yeah, I did sort of mean Japan, I also kinda sort of meant all the other Asia countries, like India, for instance, though that's not really a great example.
