As of right now it's available for purchase on TRU's website, I just bought Quake and Lava as my last two sets and hopefully they'll come in soon.

I know that so many people have entered already, but I'd love to make it even harder for them to win :^)

I was checking for a price or info on it but didn't see anything so I'll bring up the Villain Pack gold skull mask that was released in Russia. Still waiting for that to come out everywhere (don't want to spend 17-20 dollars on something likely to be free.)

Bit disappointed that they use the same loose stand for the mask that they used for the MoC, but the cardboard part is good enough I may try and get more than one (assuming they're not grossly impossible to acquire.)

Trans glitter Avohkii. It's so awesome and Bionicle-y, and really represents how it was in the movie well.

I went to my target after using the inventory checker and although I don't know if it was mentioned here, I'll bring this up anyways. Make sure to call ahead and have the DPCI numbers so they can easily look up the sets. When I went they had all of the new Bionicle sets and a lot of the new System sets on a transition pallet, meaning it was already saran wrapped up and waiting to go on shelves so they couldn't get it for me. Supposedly a large shipment had come in from DC that was all in the pallets already. Normally Target is great about looking in the back for you, but it's way easier to just give them a number they can look up on their little retail doohickeys. Some other Targets had the stock out or not in a pallet though, but they were a bit too far to go to, so it's good to check ahead. I was told that it would be within the week before they transition the toy section so I'd guess it would be on the first. I also called my local TRU and after quite a long hold they said didn't have them yet. I could go to another Target though and get them if it were really urgent, but I'm going on vacation soon so I won't have much time to enjoy them before I leave.

At first I didn't see what the big deal is about the membership, other than supporting the site, but now that I have the power to make a blog and send PMs to 10 people at once, it seems great, even though I may not actually use those features during this little trial period. Even the masks, now that I really understand how the little images relate to your title, it makes it seem a lot more worth it to me, getting to collect them all and what not.

Leg pistons, 'nuff said. Those were my favorite parts of large titans and I hope they're brought back. There's got to be some way to integrate them into CCBS.

Had I more space, I'd probably use action poses, but since I"m going to be fitting the skull squad in soon I've just got them standing for now.

I'm not sure if this question would be better fit in BZP Q&A but I figure I can't really go wrong in asking it here, but I've never entered any of these contests so I'm wondering if it's allowed to do a collaborative build? I have a friend who doesn't use BZP but is a big fan of lego and constraction, and he owns much more CCBS than I do, so when I told him about this he suggested we work together. I wouldn't want to be disqualified for it or anything, so is there anything I need to be aware of if entering for two?

The fact that they're all supposed to use gold masks when 3 of them have no gold on them really irks me, so I personally think they look more like a team with their individual masks on that go well with their color schemes individually than the gold masks. And while I think the half trans masks look amazing by themselves, on figures they look a kind of weird, since the blending patterns aren't as good looking as the protectors to me. I'd rather display the gold masks to the side than on the figures.

The initial 6-page preview should be the same for everyone. But, if you log into amazon, you unlock random excerpts from the rest of the book. These are (probably?) unique to each person. Others have mentioned getting the fight against LOSS or something from the beginning of the summer story. I got some stuff with Pohatu arriving at the region of stone and Kopaka forgetting he has a scope on his face. That someone got an Onua and Korgot-focused preview is entirely believable. I can understand being cautious and everything, but sometimes it's unwarranted. There's nothing to indicate it's not a legitimate screencap, and Dina posted a complete page so that should really be that. Oh that explains it! I saw the other screencaps of previews so yeah, I definitely believe it now. It's kind of funny, I was specifically assuming that PoE was female after not having been referred to by a gendered pronoun and it turned out to be true!

Just out of curiousity I checked amazon.de to see if they used the same preview as the US, then I checked .ca, and then I checked .co.uk, and then I got too lazy to check any other domains for amazon, but they all used the same preview, so I'm a bit more skeptical to the leak, but I'm staying hopeful.

I like the names, other than Blingzak they all seem fine to me. I don't think they were all specifically referred to as male, because when they were being described some of them were just described by their weaponry, and if we're going for hoping for more genders for characters if anything having the PoW be a guy is good because that means that Water isn't an exclusively female element, so they all might be gender neutral. E: This isn't to say that I think it's good that they're all male, a female village leader would have been good for a change since almost all fiction has exculsively male tribe leaders, when iirc there are quite a few tribes that are led by matriarchs, I just mean that the fact that Kivoda is a guy means that gender may not be elementally exclusive since Gali is still not a dude.

I missed a sale that I thought was really good and started to feel a bit bad before I ended up getting one for 10 dollars less, glad I picked it up when I did!

Three and a half stars for playability? Yeesh, this guy is easily entertained, especially for someone who doesn't collect Bionicle. The design is great and it fits the trans color well, and I guess you can't get more value than free if you're at the convention. I wonder if the cardboard is going to be less flimsy since it's folded over itself.

"Oh cool this one's only $500."Well you uhh... see that when... erm... when there's a mask that hmm... Yeah I got nothing. Still think that it's better than having to buy blind bags on that scale though. You know what, who am I kidding, I would LOVE to get something cool with my shoes.

Since the masks will be given away the same way as the minifigures, I can assume that they will follow the same format: You get in line outside, on a patio of the conference building; you get up to the front; you show the LEGO employees your badge; you touch a button on a tablet, which gives you a 50-50 chance of getting the mask; If yes, you are handed the mask; if no, you leave, and cannot retry. If I remember correctly, there are about 400 of each minifig / mask. 400‽‽‽ Well then never mind, I guess I won't be getting this one, since it's 375 percent rarer than the clear hau. Man that blows, but I guess we can't all be winners. I think it makes it more interesting and fun, you have to scout around on ebay and stuff to find the best deal. A chore would be having to buy a minimum 48 krana packs (with no dupes) to get a full set, or however many mask packs you'd need to buy to get all of the 2001 and 02 kanohi, not including all of the weird and strange exclusive stuff that G1 had. (Who puts a collectable with a shoe? I mean seriously). But to each their own, I guess.

Another (hopefully) attainable rare mask for my G2 collection! Neat!

I spent 30 dollars on that other clear piece of exclusive plastic, I'm sure as heck going to be buying this! Are there any major differences when buying 2nd hand exclusives from NYCC and SDCC?

The thing I want most after seeing that commercial is to A) Hope Skull Scorpio is actually released in America (But that's not too big of a long shot) and B) Hope the sound track of G2 gets released at some point!
