IC: Kaikino Simple enough job. Follow, track, and protect if needed. "Fine. I can handle that." Kaikino didn't ask questions beyond that on a job. The more questions you asked, the more dangerous the job became. He didn't care if he was searching for Matoran to sacrifice to Makuta or searching for a bounty to turn into the Marines. But a couple of details needed to be ironed over first. "I'll give you the rate after the job is finished, but you need to prove to me that you have payment first. This isn't a charity."

IC: Kaikino Kaikino paused. That being....the flashy one, with the purple armor, did he just smile? Wasn't a warm smile. He recognized the type of smile actually. It was the smile of beings of crooked morals, of corrupt businessmen, of desperate killers, and now it sat on the face of that being. A job, perhaps? Kaikino approached warily, taking his steps with caution. "Stranger." Kaikino began, a finger tapping against the slung warhammer on his back. "You have my attention. What is your business?"

Once, I was a horrible person. And the girl I loved had to deal with me. It. The past me. I made her suffer. And now, I am a better person. But what I did taught me so much, and I am thankful I have learned, but I am disgusted by what it took and the cost to teach me.

There is a Semi-Merc, Semi-P.I. open for hire for just about anything in Ga-Koro at the gates. Name's Kaikino, the Vortixx with fancy gear.

IC: Kaikino "...and that's what I found out." The Matoran on the other side of the desk rubbed the chin of his mask in deep thought. "Huh. I'm guessing the loan he took out wasn't for his legitimate business either." Kaikino shrugged. "I don't see why he would need to take a loan out if he's running a black market anyways." The Matoran leaned forward and shook his head. "No, no, that's the thing. He owes somebody money underground, so he used a legal source to pay them off and now he won't repay me. Bad move though; I don't like being played like a fiddle." "So do you still want to hire me for the rest of the job?" "Nah." He leaned back in the chair and picked up a few pieces of paper to study. "I'll just tip off the Marines onto him. That should get him freaking. Once his shop is deserted, I'll contact you again for a raid." Kaikino nodded. "Fair enough. Good luck with the Marines." The Matoran waved a hand absentmindedly. "Yeah, yeah, see you around." Kaikino stood up and left the small loan office. It was just outside the Ga-Koro gates, not far from the urban hum of the Koro. Now to find something to do...or another job until his employer called him up again. OOC: Kaikino OFI or Employment

IC: Kaikino Kaikino rested his head against the wall, listening to the conversation that was happening on the other side of the wall and down the street. Praise Mata-Nui for Vortixx technology! The sound came in a little weak to his hearing aid, but it was still decent. Not as refined as a Toa of Sound could do, but most Toa wouldn't be interested in snooping on a shopkeeper's conversations. This particular shopkeeper had a sizable debt to pay off, but insisted he didn't have the goods to do it. Kaikino was hired by the loaner to find the truth. He wasn't entirely sure if that made him a Private Investigator or Loan Shark Muscle for this job, but if anybody asked a P.I. sounded much cooler to him. He silenced his thoughts as he listened closer to the shopkeeper. Full sentences were hard to pick out, but it sounded like little Mr. Asube had good business. Really good business. Which was interesting, since he sold rugs and cloth. Something more interesting was going on. Kaikino smiled a little. 'Course, now he had to break into his little shop at night. That would be fun. Kaikino slipped away from the wall, removed his ear piece and stowed it, and headed in the direction of the Ga-Koro gates. He had some information to share. OOC: Kaikino open for interaction

That sounds too intensive, honestly. I appreciate the offer though. Hey no biggie, just shootin' ideas. I know that you like space stuff, I don't have any idea of what the Great Beings could ahve been doing in space for about 10,100 years in ARA, and I thought you would have had some ideas. But i can understand how that might be intensive and off-putting. I'm a HUGE EUIV player myself, and maybe one day I'll have to time to contribute to your project, I hope I do. But that level of work right now, just the idea of contributing to a massive project, would drive me away instead of looping me in at this time. Stress about BZPower instead of life?

Gotta get things done again, even if it's some stupid little story in the Library. This place was a great stress release for me, and I need it again definitely. Went from one job to another to another in the span of three weeks, and just facing that grand ole uncertainty about the future. What's next for this here site? Another story? The BZPRPG? I don't know. Maybe both, just overwhelm myself again. Seems like a great idea to me.

It might be because you said you were gone, right before you left... The last post I made in this particular topic was one of me attempting to get back into the swing of things, actually. That failed utterly, but just posting here again has ignited some deep, nerdy spark within to try it again. Let's see what happens, eh?

I AM NOT GONE. Somebody said I was gone. I felt it. I've just been....adulting. It's been horrible. I want to BZPRPG again, it's been some of the most quality sci-fi RPing I've done.

While I'm not too pleased with the idea of a flush of Star Wars movies(my poor wallet), this one does look interesting. I hope it can provide more light on the origins of the Rebellion in movie versus the books and comics. Also, running at AT-ATs? Do you want to die? Obviously.

My coin collection started with my mother's father. He served in WW2, so he got around and was able to pick up a TON of different coins. I've been updating and adding to it slowly. It's been great. See the thing about determining the value of the coins, doesn't mean you'll find somebody that wants to pay that much for them. So you could steal them, but unless you know a buyer that wants to dish out that much cash for bits of metal, it's essentially worthless.

I've self-appraised my coin collection today. Took me around 6 hours to get through the more important pieces of the collection, and now my back hurts. But the worth stands somewhere between $80,000 and $100,000.

Disgusting. Move along.

Zootopia was very good and very much worth seeing in the movies. Is it worth a sequel? I don't think so, and I hope Disney doesn't try to push a sequel on it unless they can pull off a story and humor just as good as it is now.

I've heard some flak for Spider-Man's voice in the movie, but if my guess is correct, Spider-Man is really going to be some high school kid, so of course his voice is going to be a bit higher-pitched. Literally the only compliant I've heard about the movie.

Quite the book. Go read it. It is very addicting, very realistic, and very eye-opening!
