    Just got interviewed by Black Six along with HAZMAT and Takuma Nuva for the next Powercast. It was a great time - both before and during the recording and I'm looking forward to hearing the final thing, even if I already know what's going to be said. xD Don't we all love to hear ourselves talk once in a while?

    The subject of "intelligent debates" has come up in recent staff discussions, but we have yet to figure out a way to make them happen without opening Pandora's box for flaming and the like.

    I think declining interest in some of the best shows ever has something to do with it, except for LOST and 24, whose ending was planned years ahead.

    I'm just gonna stick with Firefox, simply because I like it more than any browser I tried before and because of those tons of useful add-ons. And because it is neither Google nor Microsoft, so it won't do the occasional phone call home to mummy. (Of course it has the ability to do it, but it can be turned off.)

    Shiny

    What's shiny is Firefly, which I finally came around to watch in its glorious, short-lived entirety. What's not shiny is only two BIONICLE serial updates since November 2010, with the last one occuring exactly 5 weeks ago... hopefully, there'll be one this week.

    Every edit increases the database exponentially. Say you have a very long page, but you edit only one word in that page and hit "save" - MediaWiki will store the ENTIRE PAGE as it was before your edit and it will store the ENTIRE PAGE as it is now. (At least that is my understanding of the software.) Do that several times, and overload is what you get.

    No, but I usually get almost-electrocuted by the cotton clothes of the old folks at work. (I currently work in a day care facility for Alzheimer patients, until April.) Maybe that is the reason?
