  1. Heh, well since my comment got wiped out I'll have to repeat it. Man, this is a major nostalgia rush. I really like what you've been doing with the characters and how the world around them is being twisted. Definitely looking forward to more. Also Yio that is really great to hear! Def looking forward to seeing what it is he's got planned...
  2. I like Yo-Matoran personally.Hm... I really don't know about the traits. I guess more energy? Greater heat resistence than Ta-Matoran would make SENSE but yeah...As for where they live, I actually think near Plasma conduits or generators within Mata-Nui's body or something would be the best place for them. I'm almost seeing them live around places that look almost like miniature stars.
  3. The sheer detail in the muscles is astounding.
  4. Y... you thought I was relevant enough to make fun of.... ;_; aaah, feels truer than it should. Well, I think something closer would be "H-hey guys I'm still here kinda i'll be back soon you know I have stuff i kinda wanna do sorta but you know i'm still kind of a big deal right hey I'm with these people now and it's awesome and it'll be great but you know these things take time hey remember when I did RoHD with Dark such good times hey listen to me ramble about background info OH GOD DARK WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME" but that would be too long. Either way, nice.
  5. It just got REAL.That was amazing. A truly epic chase, one that really makes me want the Inika.......Also 6 comics is "a" comic for this? Daaang. You're really working at this, keep it up!... ok who took all those posts and had a bonfire seriously...
  6. I clearly have a lot of catching up to do. :X... eep. Staying faaaaaar away from other Gav...
  7. Oh wow you're here HI

    1. Varaka

      Varaka

      ILOVEYOU... I mean, hi. :P

  8. Yeah you're right, all things considered talking about it in the podcast might've been funny but overall... yeah wouldn't have ended well. :PI realize after taking a nap the irony in saying you guys need to stop being so serious when I launched into a huge rant on shameful behavior. Zaki made her case just fine and I didn't need to come in and talk big and fan the flames. I apologize for that.Back into my hole I go~
  9. (climbs out of hiding for a moment)Congrats to ALL the winners! I'm surprised this is only the second, it would've been one heck of a show had it happened back in the old days.Thank you for the clarification zak. I agree, it's a style of comic. That makes it no less of a legitimate entry. No, what is shameful is the kind of seriousness it takes to get legitimately upset or even disappointed over something like this. What is shameful is not even mentioning it in the three virtues when you covered the winners, just because you perceived it as a troll entry or low-quality. (If you wanted that kind of say you should've made yourselves judges instead of going for popular vote.) The sheer smug spite to say "congratulations to the first and third winners".Overall being a poor sport in a contest about Bionicle comics. That's pretty shameful.Think about how you're acting if you really care so much about Art III's reputation.

    Akano's Comics

The sad thing is I actually did ponder that once when I was a teenager.
  11. DEM KRAATA.Glad to see you working on things still. Aah, I love these. Reminds me so much of all my playing with my MoCs back in the day...Toa Igniter playing with minifigs would have gotten me laughing pretty hard were I not extremely full and at risk of vomiting had I done that, but still, greatest scene in comics history right there.... ooooh dear Jaller. It's about to hit the fan.Kutgw!
  12. Pretty much every year did. 2008 especially but 06 and 07 would've been great. Especially considering 07 had an underwater setting and made it cool.
  13. This is probably the best idea in this entire thread. Then maybe the other staff too.
  14. There's a moderator called Godlike Dragon Preists that makes them considerably harder. They even use master-level spells.
  15. Yeah sacred clay hammers aren't something you can just buy. You actually have to play the Stealing Creation minigame to get them and there's no other way to do it. I suggest finding a tie world because actually competing for the points is infuriating, as are the people there.I-think- there might be a better way to powerlevel mining in the paid game than to just smack iron all day but I've long forgotten all the things you can do. All I can remember is mining daeyalt ore, which you have to progress in a questline to get to. One where you definitely want more than 40 attack...
  16. Still better than Perfect World in that respect. By a long shot. 3x grindier than Runescape AND a shop where you can buy experience.....I can't help but think if they really are having financial issues they're probably still recovering from the disaster that Stellar Dawn turned out to be. (that and cancelled memberships after december 2007)Whatever revenue enhancing devices they want to bring on I don't mind too much. But ultimately if they want to be as successful as they used to be they just need to make Runescape a less boring game.
  17. It also means it own't be extremely buggy at launch.
  18. It certainly distinguished it as a skill I hated to train. Agility's the same way, which is a real shame because there's a lot of potential to make that actually fun instead of busywork.I do get what you mean though. 99 rc capes were definitely symbols of sheer endurance. But now at least people will be able to get higher runecrafting levels more tolerably and then it'll be easier to, say, find dungeoneering teammates that can craft their own blood runes.
  19. A way of training runecrafting while not paying 100% attention is just marvellous to me. I always hated that about runecrafting, compared to skills like cooking or anything else.
  20. Investors have an influence in the sense that if they see the game is financially going down the toilet, so do their shares. They sell their stocks and bail, jagex suffers as a result. They may personally complain. So they have about as much influence on the game as consumers do.
  21. I've never changed it on BZP, but elsewhere I mostly go by Sukid these days. superkid11 was the first email address I made when I was 10 years old, along with the first forum account name.
  22. I never really named my equipment. Was afraid of the enchanting boost wearing off. :[
  23. Yeah, handle with care. Could be great, could be... disasterous. So is this a comedy or are you taking a more serious approach to it? My approach to a genderbending story would be the character enjoying it at first due to petty reasons but after an extended period of time begins to not only see how the grass only looked greener, but feel as though they're in the wrong body, like a transexual. (or it could get so bad they actually develop a split personality...) I -think- that would work with Bionicle if the GBs actually didn't reprogram his mind and just gave him a new body, but then again the entire concept of gender as far as Matoran go isn't quite what it is for humans. Might have to take some liberties there.
  24. This game ate years and years of my life and stopped me from doing anything creative with it but I hold no grudge against it. Was my fault. And I'm still a casual fan of the game.I'm known as Sukidd. Who knows, you might see me on once and a while. Or it might be somebody who jacked my account.Last I logged off was october last year when I tried doing the latest vampire quest. Vanstrom is harder than I expected, even with supers and piety on.
