  1. *shakes axe at Elitra* Spare us our lives from THIS MONSTROSITY
  2. I see a little silhouette of a Matoran TAKUUUA TAKUUUA can you do the fandango?
  3. It still feels like Gen VII just stared, but we’re already getting the last Pokémon in the current National Dex order! Stop by GameStop between now and the 23rd to get a code to download Marshadow, the very first Fighting/Ghost type! It’ll also come with Marshadium Z, letting Marshadow use its unique Z Move, Soul-Stealing Seven Star Strike. How cool does that sound? Just about a month until Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon! With the reveal of new Ultra Beasts, I can’t help but wonder if more Mythicals are programmed in as well, meaning we could get another few years of Gen VII. I hope we do, I can’t afford a new console.
  4. I recently learned the Sand-Lord is actually female, so she's the one who comes to mind first I guess.
  5. Conclusion: hosting Olkir Tournament was a very good idea. Thanks for all your submissions!
  6. Flattering as that may be, hosting a game of that magnitude is worlds beyond my ability, so I think I'll stick to text-based fight clubs and stories for now.
  7. ROUND 5 The Organizer beckoned to Smoke Monster and Scrubbish. “Would you two mind going first? I think it would really help build the tension.” “Begin!” Smoke Monster began to hurl energy blasts, while Scrubbish just ran and waited. Soon, Smoke Monster called up a wall before Scrubbish and tried to move it forward, but this was exactly what his opponent was waiting for: using his Noble Facet, he was able to wrest control of the wall away from Smoke Monster, and sent it back towards him. Since the wall itself was still Heavy Faceted, it moved slowly enough that Smoke Monster was able to use the Mask of Kualsi to get away, and he battered Scrubbish with energy blasts while he was distracted. Scrubbish seemed to focus solely upon manipulating Smoke’s walls, and while he did manage to get in several strong hits doing so, Smoke Monster’s mobility and range gave him an edge that slowly wore his foe down. “Smoke Monster wins!” Turning to the group, the Organizer said, “Perhaps next…Nato and TimeLord.” “Begin!” The arena erupted into a crossfire of arrows and lightning. Nato charged headlong into this, while TimeLord tried using his Mask of Crast to repel the lightning, meeting with limited success. An arrow zoomed past Nato’s shoulder as he raised his weapon—but as he moved to swing, he felt the sickle slip out of his hand. The arrow in question had the foot of a hawk sprouting from it, and had grabbed hold of Nato’s weapon as it flew past...however, Nato still held the other end, and a quick tug on the chain was able to reclaim the first sickle. The distraction allowed TimeLord to land several very effective hits, but not enough to bring Nato down. The Lightning Tribe warrior used a blast to distract TimeLord, giving him a chance to strike the ground before him with a sickle, and then jumped back to avoid more arrows. A bolt from above clipped TimeLord’s arm as he was about to fire, and then Nato used a bolt from his weapon to knock the Viridian Bow clear. “Nato wins!” “My my!” the Organizer said, applauding loudly. “That enough victories to be named Champion! However…” All eyes turned to Kuan. “How thrilling! Should Kuan lose, Nato will be our Champion—but if Kuan wins, he and Nato will have one final match to determine the title! I trust you’re ready?” Kuan and Trijhak entered the arena without a word. “Begin!” Kuan began to fire Flame Wave after Flame Wave, all while attempting to circle around his opponent. Trijhak fired rapidly, but not to attack—to form a shield, and continued to back away as he did so until he reached the edge of the arena. Kuan moved to change directions, at which point Trijhak fired his artillery, activated his Huna, and vanished. Unable to fully incinerate the incoming swarm of arrows, Kuan stopped and tried to get an idea of where his foe had gone. He heard a familiar sound. Whirling, he saw Trijhak creating a massive, spherical shield of crystals around himself, and hurled a Flame Wave as he once again tried to circle closer. Trijhak continued to reinforce the shield until he suddenly fired it all at once, resulting in a wide spread that forced Kuan to stand still in order to brace himself, and fired a regular arrow in an attempt to knock the Tyrant’s Familiar from his hands. It didn’t make it through the Flame Waves Kuan was defending himself with. Trijhak went to building a shield once more, but it was forming more slowly under the onslaught of Kuan’s flames—yet, having taken damage while his opponent’s shield had kept him safe, his stamina was at a disadvantage. When Trijhak let loose an enormous wave of artillery, Kuan tried to dodge but couldn’t, and this time his blade really was knocked from his grip. “Trijhak wins!” The Organizer approached Nato, and held his hand high. “With four wins, Nato of the Lightning Tribe is our Champion!” The others congratulated Nato, and the Organizer thanked them all for their magnificent displays—he assured them that he would be in contact with them the next time such a tournament was held, and allowed all who had earned Masks of Power to keep them (as well as handing a Mask of Felnas to Kuan before he left). “Now then, Champion!” the Organizer said, spinning to face Nato. “There’s something I would like to discuss with you. Would you follow me please?” Nato followed the Organizer, keeping a careful grip on Baleful Sky as they went—just in case. They entered the longue and went to an office at the back of the building, and the Organizer sat down at a desk flanked by two more shark statues, withdrawing and flipping through a folder. “I do adore watching spectacular fights, but…I must confess that this organization has greater goals in mind. We have a grand dream, you see, but in order to make it happen, we will need to pass many dangerous obstacles, and I’m afraid we do not currently have the manpower. But you!” He smiled, pointing at Nato. “A fierce warrior who fought past all opposition, someone unafraid to dive into the unknown and emerge victorious! Why, you didn’t even need a single Mask of Power to do it! Our organization could use someone such as yourself. So tell me, Nato…” The Organizer glanced at one of the statues, an odd, almost wistful look in his eye. “I assume you’re heard the legend of the Great Shark Demon, Pridak?” *** Thanks for playing, everyone—I hope you all had a great time! Like I said before, I’m planning even bigger things with Olkir, so if you did enjoy this game, maybe you’d like to guest star in a future epic? I’ve got a casting call on my blog you can look at if so. If you’ve grown attached to the characters you’ve started building here, then you could flesh them out a bit more and submit them, or go in an entirely new direction: there are many more options for guest stars than were provided in this game, since certain restrictions were necessary for ease of gameplay. Even if you don’t want to guest star, maybe I’ll see you when the epic starts up? I’m hoping to make it a very good read!
  8. It might be going a bit far to say that I like it, but the whole love isn't canon thing honestly never bothered be. If anything, I'm annoyed by the never-ending clamor about it. Does the disagreement on how the Shadow Toa battle went count as a retcon? If so, that's one I really hate. The explanation of the Toa accepting their darkness is interesting, sure, but that sort of idea is completely at odds with the entire story, whereas the version where they work together to help each other is a perfect fit for one of the series's core themes (unity). Also I hate Orde. And I'll count the Barraki inspiring Makuta's plan as a terrible retcon too, because that's textbook Mary Sue.
  9. Holy wow. So we’ve got two new trailers for USUM, one that’s really dramatic and awesome (and in Japanese), and that’s highly informative (in English). Ha…where do I start? -It looks like Necrozma’s goal is to steal light from the world. There’s a new area you can travel to where apparently it did just that, and it seems to be the gist of what’s going on in the dramatic trailer. Would also explain why it wants to absorb Solgaleo and Lunala. -So, where is this lightless world, you ask? In Ultra Space. We get footage of the player riding Solgaleo and Lunala through a dimensional tunnel and into portals, ending up in places like the lightless city (which really gives me The World That Never Was vibes, I dig it) and a variety of habitats where the Ultra Beasts appear. I’m 90% sure this means that the post-game for USUM is all about charting Ultra Space and catching the Ultra Beasts there rather than them appearing across Alola one at a time. Which is awesome. -The city is inhabited by a group calling themselves the Ultra Recon Squad. Two different members appear in each version, and since they don’t seem to do much to stop you from entering their city, I’m led to believe we’re on good terms with them, but we do have to fight them at some point it looks like. Who knows. -So, the new Ultra Beasts! Burst is Fire Ghost and has a new move called Mind Blown, where it chucks its head at the enemy and it explodes, dealing some recoil. Okay. Assembly is Rock/Steel. There’s also a brand new Ultra Beast known as Adhesive, seen in possession of the Ultra Recon Squad. The design looks a bit different from the others, but I rather like it. It’s a Poison type. This all looks very promising. I mean, I was already pretty excited for these, and now we’re getting into some real good stuff. I better get a head start on anything I want to get accomplish this year because once I get these games I might not resurface for a while…
  10. Your hosts would be quite upset with you.
  11. My, you're all so paranoid about the statues. Perhaps I shouldn't have made such a big deal after all.

    Question

Maybe a long-standing rivalry between the not-regressed Vorox and the few remaining Skrall?
  13. ROUND 4 Kuan and Nato approached the field, but the Organizer stopped them. “I think we’ll have you two go last, actually. For dramatic tension.” Neither seemed to like the idea, but they complied nonetheless, and instead it was Scrubbish and TimeLord who prepared for battle first. “Begin!” As TimeLord began forming a stag to ride, Scrubbish tried to interfere with his chain. TimeLord had expected this, however, and used the Mask of Crast to repel to chain, allowing him to finish and mount his steed. Arrows came at Scrubbish’s hands, but he threw up a Metal Wave anyway. His opponent took some damage but the arrows kept coming. Stepping forward, Scrubbish activated the Mask of Pakari and swung his hammer at the spikes generated by his Play: they splintered under his might and flew at TimeLord, the storm of tiny blades tearing at his skin and steed. The next Metal Wave was a direct hit. TimeLord managed to stick an arrow in Scrubbish’s arm, but another storm of shrapnel left him too dazed to continue the fight. “Scrubbish wins!” “Excellent, excellent,” the Organizer mused. “You both have much talent, and I suspect even more room to grow! Now then, next?” “Begin!” Smoke Monster started hurling energy blasts at Trijhak, who appeared ready to return fire but instead started forming a shield. Trijhak walked forward slowly, very slowly, keeping his shield up as he did—a few blasts slipped through the openings, but for the most part he was very well-protected. Smoke called up a wall and moved it forward, hoping to sweep his foe away. However, Heavy metal won’t move quickly, so Trijhak was easily able to scale the wall and use the higher ground to his advantage, raining a flurry of artillery down at his opponent. He dropped down, rushed forward, and used up his shield to fire even more shots, and then he was gone. Smoke Monster looked around, but when he saw Trijhak it was too late. “Trijhak wins!” “Ah, Smoke Monster, an offering: the Mask of Kualsi, if you wish to claim it. You can use it to instantly move yourself to anywhere you can see, but be warned that it becomes a bit disorienting with successive use.” All eyes then turned to Kuan and Nato. Taking the field, both entered a battle stance, and the Organizer added an extra delay to let the anticipation build even further. “Begin!” Kuan put everything he had into one massive Flame Wave, and then charged in behind it. Nato wasn’t able to completely avoid damage, but he was already moving, so that enabled him to avoid the worst of it. Once he recovered, he started hurling lightning at Kuan’s face and hands; after several such blasts, Kuan found his grip on his sword faltering, and it was then that Nato used his sickle to cut Kuan across the face and make him drop it completely. Seconds later, a bolt fell upon him. “Nato wins!” “Ah, we have an upset!” the Organizer said. “Most excellent. Now Nato has just as much chance as Kuan does—oh, we may require overtime after all! I can’t wait to see!” FIFTH ROUND MATCH-UPS: -Nato vs TimeLord -Trijhak vs Kuan -Smoke Monster vs Scrubbish You have 48 hours to PM a strategy, and Smoke Monster must either accept or decline the Mask of Kualsi by then. If Kuan or Nato wins, they will have accumulated 4 wins and be named champion. If they both win, they will fight each other for the title.

  15. Well, I think it’s time. If you didn’t know, I’ve been putting together a new idea for an epic, taking place in a new world named Olkir. The full primer can be found here, but essentially the idea was to mash concepts from both generations of Bionicle, as well as Slizers, RoboRiders, and Hero Factory, into one fantasy world. (Though…since G1 has more content to play with than all those others combined, the end result is something that could probably be termed a fanmade Bionicle G3 story.) This world is populated by humanoid villagers made of a special kind of living metal who belong to eight Elemental Tribes, led by Coronets blessed with the power of Elemental Gods known as Slizers. Villagers have learned to mine minerals imbued with Elemental Power to craft special weapons, or they can go to a Rider to be made a proper Toa—though this is far rarer now, since automata known as Hagah have begun keeping peace worldwide. I’ve begun setting up the plot, but I was curious to see if anyone out there wanted to contribute characters to this story, so before I go any further I’m going to put out the call. If you’re interested, I’d recommend glancing over the primer to get a clearer idea of what’s going on before posting your form in the comments here. What I Need: -A name for your character, of course. -You can be a villager, a Toa, or a Hagah unit. For the first two you will need to pick an Element: Fire, Water, Ice, Metal, Lightning, Rock, Jungle, or Sun. However, for plot reasons, no Toa of Metal or Sun will be accepted. (Hagah can be associated with a particular Element if they wish, but it isn’t required.) Also, before you go jumping at the chance to be a Toa, there’s something specific about how Toa work that you need to know. A Rider turns a villager into a Toa and they are then free to do what they want for the rest of their life. When they die, however, the Rider takes them to an area at the edge of the afterlife where sixteen canisters are stored. Each Rider’s existence is stabilized by harmonizing with the souls of two Toa. When a Toa dies, their soul is put into one of these canisters to provide this effect, and the canister’s previous inhabitant is then sent into the proper afterlife. The stasis is by no means uncomfortable, and again, it is temporary, so maybe it isn’t a dealbreaker—but it still requires a degree of self-sacrifice, especially since the lack of Toa lately means the stasis can last for quite some time. In short, if your character is a Toa they must be someone who would agree to putting off their eternal reward for a while, which is something that should be reflected in their character. -Appearance. Villagers and Toa are humanoids with metal skin, and can magnetize armor to their bodies. Hagah can have more diverse appearances if they’d like. -Now’s where we get into powers and weapons! Obviously a Toa will innately have command over their Element. As mentioned previously, the villagers have learned to create weapons imbued with Elemental Power, so anyone can have access to those. Using these weapons also allows anyone, even villagers, to develop unique Element-derived abilities all their own, typically referred to as Plays. I want to be pretty open with weapons and powers, and would encourage you to think up some creative ones! Though, an Elemental Weapon can only power abilities of that one Element, and a villager is typically only proficient in the Element of their Tribe. Examples of weapons and Plays and how they work are detailed further in a read more below if you want to look them over. This section of your form can easily be tweaked as the story progresses, so for now, come up with whatever you want, and I’ll discuss modifications with you if I feel the need. -Related to that, on the topic of masks. Masks of Power do exist in this world, but they are rare treasures found in hidden temples that can only be obtained by passing various traps and tests. So your character might have a mask, but only one, and said mask must have only one specific ability. Some masks have already been decided on, and those will be listed in a read more below. (Of note, it’s entirely possible for two characters to have the same mask—a new one is forged for the temple each time one is removed.) -And a bio, for, you know…everything else. Gender, character traits, history, all that good stuff. Naturally, a good chunk of this will probably be used more as a guideline than put in word for word, but I plan to discuss my ideas on adapting your initial information with you in detail as we move forward. So please, give your characters some interesting pasts or quirks, and potential paths of character development! I won’t be accepting any applications for important figures like the Coronets, but that still leaves a lot of other options. Also, I don’t think I’ve mentioned the Priests of the Slizers yet, but that’s a thing if you’re interested. You will have to main disks, though. -Oh, uh, one last thing…on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most likely, how likely would you say this character is to be a member of a cult dedicated to Shark Demon Pridak? Just a survey, you know, for demographic research and whatnot. Totally not a spoiler. Weapons, Elemental Facets, and Plays Weapons made from certain eleminerals have special properties and can be used as “batteries” for Plays. The eleminerals are lunapollonite (Sun), rockite (Rock), florate (Jungle), ionalloy (Lightning), volcanore (Fire), mallaidro (Water), nexidian (Metal), and freezon (Ice). Commonly used weapons: -Disks: Throwing disks are considered a holy weapon for their association with the Slizers. Given that, it isn’t at all surprising that disks have been made from every elemineral. -Sun Gun: Exactly what you’d expect. There’s a bit of variety in what these firearms look like, but they all use lunapollonite to store massive amounts of sunlight which is then fired in concentrated blasts from the barrel. -Morcian Swords: Blades made in the town of Morcia on the Island of Lightning. Being made from ionalloy, they possess the ability to fire lightning bolts from their tips. -Skrall Shields: Shields made from rockite, making them extremely resistant to damage, and extremely painful to get bashed over the head with. -Viridian Bow: A green bow containing florate. When you pull back on it, an arrow instantly materializes; many users develop Plays that modify the properties of the arrows formed. -Grappling Hook: Consisting of a long chain with a hook made of mallaidro on the end, this weapon is immensely popular amongst the Water Tribe for its utility. When the hook comes into contact with something, it melds to fit it perfectly, enabling the user to grab onto almost anything -Vortixx Axe: The head of this battleaxe is made of nexidian, and when swung downwards, it temporarily greatly increases in density and weight, adding to the power of each swing. -Storm Drones: Though a recent invention, these are a favorite weapon of the Ice Tribe since many of them prefer not to fight directly. Usually coming in pairs, these small airborne devices have their own power source and a limited AI, enabling them to act independently and fire freeze blasts at their designated target. They also have a voice recognition system to take orders from their owner at any time. -Kardata: Not a weapon, but a style of martial arts widely practiced on the Island of Fire. While often used in conjunction with volcanore weaponry like the Furnace Fists or the Scorching Pike, Kardata users have refined their barehanded combat skills to a degree very few others have, enabling villagers to continue to fight even if they lose the weapon that powers their Play. The Kardata uniform consists of two shoulder plates that each rise into three curved points (think the Tahnok’s Fire Shields), and a sleeveless robe that fans out to the sides of the legs like an overcoat. The color of the uniform denotes rank: red is beginner, orange is proficient, yellow is skilled (the lowest rank that typically leaves the island), white is expert, and blue is master (very rare, so don’t necessarily jump straight to this). In order to devise a Play, one must first recognize their Facet. As villagers and Toa alike continued to use Elemental Powers, they came to realize that different people had varying affinities towards using the same Element in different ways. These affinities are now referred to as Facets, and this increased understanding has led to much greater ease in the development of unique abilities. Identified Facets include: -Rock Facets: --Igneous: Skilled in energy-based abilities --Sedimentary: What they create is very difficult to destroy --Metamorphic: Able to devise very creative abilities that don’t necessarily look like Rock-based powers -Jungle Facets: --Lily: Best at emulating specific types of plants --Sakura: Excels in both healing and poisonous abilities --Dandelion: While they can work with plant life, Dandelion Facets usually develop Plays related to animals rather than plants -Lightning Facets: --Stratus: Good at compacting and reinforcing their energy, making them skilled at materialization abilities --Cirrus: Good at controlling the direction of their attacks, very precise --Cumulus: Good at storing and unleashing power, resulting in very heavy attacks -Fire Facets: --Fahrenheit: Specializes in explosions --Celsius: Excels at control, making it easy to create localized attacks and weapons --Kelvin: Produces fire that burns much hotter, achieving white and blue flames more easily than other Facets -Water Facets: --Atlantic: Does their best when focusing on offense --Pacific: Excels at defensive abilities -Metal Facets: --Noble: Excels at manipulation of metal --Precious: Better able to produce metal with unique qualities --Heavy: Able to quickly produce extremely solid constructs -Ice Facets: --Arctic: Specializes in abstract abilities, like manipulating cold and using blasts of freezing energy. Those with this Facet tend to focus on studying the future over the past. --Antarctic: Specializes in concrete abilities, like constructions made of ice. Antarctic Facets tend to study the past more than the future. -Sun is a unique case. It does technically have Facets (Sunlight, Moonlight, and Starlight), but any Sun user can easily utilize all three, and as may be obvious their usage is restricted by the time of day. Sunlight Plays can be just about anything the user can imagine, and can only be used during the day. At night, Moonlight can be used to create “reflections” of an opponent, their weapon, or even their powers, meanwhile Starlight Plays call upon specific constellations to empower the user. All this leads up to Plays. Once an Element-user discovers their Facet, they can then apply their Imagination to their power, molding it into nearly any form they can think of. The resulting ability is what is called a Play. For villagers, their lack of proficiency with Elements makes this process more difficult than it would be for a Toa, so a villager typically focuses on developing one specific Play that becomes their trademark. Plays can range from simple to extravagant, all depending on the Imagination of the user and if they can conceive a way to tie it back to their original Element through their Facet. It is unknown just what limits, if any, exist on what a Play can be, though it has been noted that more powerful Plays have larger weaknesses—nature always seeks to maintain balance, and even the most powerful Imagination cannot escape this fact. However, some very skilled warriors have found ways to turn their Play’s weakness into an advantage. Since a villager does not naturally possess Elemental Power, if they are disarmed they cannot use their Play. Example Plays: -Horizon Quill: Sunlight Faceted Sun Play. The user shoots a beam from their sun gun and “draws” a line, usually on a solid surface. After a short delay, a great amount of Sun energy rushes either up or down from that spot, sweeping away the target and causing damage. -Viridian Forest: Lily Faceted Jungle Play. Used in conjunction with the Viridian Bow—a very broad Play that enables the user to create arrows with the properties of any plant they know of, though it takes a bit longer than similar Plays that turn Viridian arrows into just one type of plant. -Astral Blades: Stratus Faceted Lightning Play. Eight lightning bolts strike in a circle around the user and form into tangible blades that the user can wield. Anyone else who touches these weapons is shocked. The user can call a blade through the air directly to their hand, though they must not use this ability on the same blade two times in a row. Masks of Power These are the Masks of Power I’ve already decided exist in Olkir, and you are free to use any of them. There are a few others I’ve decided on that will be rare/unique/plot-significant, though, so if you want to make a new one maybe ask about a specific name/power before you get your heart set on it. -Mask of Calix: Enhances wearer’s perception, allowing them to react to things much more quickly than usual (assuming their body can physically handle it) -Mask of Pakari: Enhanced physical strength for a short time -Mask of Kakama: Enhances speed, though can be difficult to control when used at full power -Mask of Huna: Makes the wearer invisible, though the effect goes away when they prepare to launch an attack -Mask of Sanok: Increases the user’s ability to make precision strikes -Mask of Felnas: If the wearer understands their opponent’s Play, they can remove their ability to use it so long as they are in direct physical contact with them -Mask of Pouks: If the wearer understands someone else’s Play, they can copy it for a brief time, though it will not be as powerful as the original [50%] (will be closer in strength if it is the same Element [75%], and much closer if it is the same Facet [90%]) -Mask of Crast: Pushes a target away, though repeated use can be exhausting -Mask of Pehkui: Enables the user to shrink, though their physical strength will reduce as well -Mask of Kualus: Enables the user to grow larger, though this does make it harder for them to maneuver and react -Mask of Kualsi: Enables the user to instantly move to any location they can see, but becomes increasingly disorientating with each use -Mask of Kiril: Used to repair inanimate objects That should about cover it. So, anyone interested?
  16. I completed a rough draft today!

  17. ROUND 3 “What are those statues for?” The Organizer turned, and after regarding the other curiously for a second he simply grinned. “Oh, those are decorations used throughout our organization. It would take some time to get into the full story.” Not waiting for a follow-up question, he waves Kuan and TimeLord onto the field, and then calls out, “Begin!” As usual, Kuan took immediately to hurling Flame Waves. TimeLord was able to craft his hawk and get into the air, and once there he was able to much better avoid being singed by the assault. But as he unleashed arrow after arrow, he found that Kuan was putting more effort into defense, and so a large part of the battle was the two dancing around each other’s shots as the spectators waited to see who would strike first. Their skill was even, but in the end it came down to the details of their Plays. Commanding his hawk took a lot of energy, and eventually TimeLord’s stamina started to dip, leading to a Flame Wave making contact. A Kelvin Faceted flame is able to burn through vines rather quickly. When TimeLord landed, Kuan bounded forward and hacked away the remains of the false animal, and then knocked TimeLord out with the flat of his blade. “Kuan wins!” “My my, Kuan, you’re having something of a lucky stroke. Win next match and you’ll be our victor. As for TimeLord, we have a Mask to offer you—the Mask of Crast, to be more precise. You can use it to repel a target (in this case, your opponent), but be warned that repeated use will leave you feeling a bit drained.” The combatants rotated, and the Organizer called, “Begin!” Trijhak ran to the side, expecting Scrubbish to open with Metal Wave. He didn’t. Ripping the chain from his hammer, Scrubbish instead hurled the links of metal at his opponent and took full use of his Noble Facet, manipulating them to better entangle his foe and trip him up. It was after that that a Metal Wave came at Trijhak head on, dealing quite a bit of damage. Trijhak was able to break free and sent Artillery down on Scrubbish to distract him, and then engaged the Mask of Huna and disappeared from sight. Scrubbish simply remained where he was. When Trijhak reappeared, he was right next to Scrubbish, shooting an arrow at the hand he used to hold Thunderdome. Scrubbish grip faltered, and he was unable to counterattack before Trijhak circled around him and put up his Artillery shield. Distance was quickly put between the two. Scrubbish threw another Metal Wave soon, and Trijhak moved to dodge, but the damage from earlier combined with Scrubbish Noble Faceted control made that difficult—his shield was all that kept him in the game. He raised his bow as if to fire his Artillery, but then loosed a normal arrow. But an arrow can’t stop a Metal Wave. “An extremely close call, but…Scrubbish wins!” While the field was being restored, the Organizer turned to Nato and Smoke Monster. “Our first rematch! Oh, I can hardly stand the wait!” They were barely on the field before he called, “Begin!” Having learned from the previous fight, Nato was more cautious in moving forward this time. Smoke Monster provided himself cover fast enough that he only took one bolt of lightning. The Metal warrior leaned out to get a good look at where his opponent was, but as soon as Nato saw him he shot a bolt of lightning guided by his Cirrus Facet. Hurt but not out, Smoke summoned another wall, this one under Nato’s feet—and since the Lightning warrior was moving more cautiously, he wasn’t fast enough to avoid being thrown off balance. Smoke used this opportunity to open fire, but Nato recovered quickly and returned fire, forcing him to hide behind his cover again. It was a slow-moving match, and Smoke managed to trip Nato up a few more times, but eventually Nato got close enough to strike Smoke’s cover with his chain. A Bolt From the Blue hit the wall next. Smoke had to jump back to avoid being shocked, and that gave Nato the perfect chance to disarm him. “Nato wins!” “Simply riveting!” the Organizer said as he clapped. “It seems tomorrow’s round just might be the last. You’ll put on an extra spectacular show in your attempts to keep the festivities going, won’t you?” FOURTH ROUND MATCH-UPS: -Kuan vs Nato -Scrubbish vs TimeLord -Smoke Monster vs Trijhak You have 48 hours to PM a strategy, and TimeLord must accept or decline the Mask of Crast by then as well. If Kuan wins this round, he will have accumulated 4 wins and be named Champion.
  18. Someone recruits for a heist, there's a battle between two giant monsters, and then a Glatorian has to try to explain what love is.to two Matoran. I'm only half-way done.
  19. All the players' names are randomized each round, and with so few players that is going to unfortunately lead to a bit of repetition. If the RNG tries to make you two fight a third time next round I'll definitely reroll.
  20. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
