  1. Then as long as my images are within the filesize rules for how big I'm allowed to post, they will adjust to fit the template accordingly? But there's not a way for me to control how big it gets shrunk to like I could on Wikipedia or BS01. I would have to shrink the file on my own computer? Does it make a difference that my images are from a url? I did not upload them directly to BZPower, I uploaded them to Brickshelf and embedded the url. Thanks!
  2. One I can't seem to find in here: When posting a picture in a post or a new topic, how do I make a very big image appear smaller in the post?
  3. It kind of looks like there's a very hazy Mata Nui Robot far off in the smoggy distance.
  4. I remember back in 2004 being under the impression that the Matoran on Mata Nui were just the refugees and that there were many times more still asleep in the city. But it was stated later that in fact pretty much all the Matoran were rescued and the total on each island was 1000 give or take. Which is a good number for six little villages. Metru Nui on the other hand, has much quieter streets than we are led to beleive and most of the city is probably pretty automated. Sources like the movie make it seem a lot more populated because frankly, it looks better that way. It's a city. The masses of tens of thousands that we seein the colluseum in the movie are fudging canon a little bit.
  5. that's a detail that's been dodged and overlooked all over the place. In my head, any one with ambiguous hands has five fingers, which is pretty much every toa who doesn't have an explicitly unusual hand. The Stars sets are barely canon anyway.
  6. It's clearly the long-awaited return of Throwbots.
  7. Aside from the filename of the image, take note of the six colours at the top and bottom.
  8. I would still say that those are written (especially the Mask of Light Novel) to reflect the movie. Bionicle had a lot of cooks in the kitchen and canon can be muddy. Bionicle does not have a single, perfect canon as we would like to think, and it branches into many sub-continuities. Tiny details like this are not nearly as important as the broad strokes of canon.
  9. it's definitely been a peculiartiy of the movie universe to put one mask over another. I would say that in paralell continuities, he must have taken his other mask off.
  10. There are too few matoran for the not to have met, and they live much too long. frankly, I think it's an excersise in suspension of disbeleif that they don't all know each other quite well. my own headcanon theory is that although they live a long time, their memories don't last. If they met 200 years ago, they may as well be strangers.
  11. Groot is too big. I like him on his own, but compared to the others, he should have been one of those Hagrid-sized minifigures or something.
  12. If all that's standing in the way is a single sentence in a book, it could be retconned if the story team wanted to. Maybe the scene was from Vezok or whoever's perspective and it was his mistake.
  13. I wouldn't know where to find it in-story. probably Brothers in Arms or else Destiny War. It might also have been an out-of-story Greg quote.
  14. Mazeka rebuilt himself during his pursuit of Vultraz. He is explicitly described as larger than most matoran.
  15. Any two of them as long as they have six elements between them can do it.
  16. I beleive it was confirmed that the 2004 design is the default for all matoran. Even if that isn't confirmed, every matoran that isn't the 2004 Metru design has a story reason for why they are different. The tohunga are shrunk. The 2006 matoran were rebuilt. The Mahri Nui matoran were rebuild and then mutated back to "very close" to their original form. Av-Matoran were enlarged in the core (and presumably their mechanical parts adjusted as well, the same way they did on Takanuva.) Mazeka rebuild himself, and Vican and Vultraz were altered physically when they transformed into shadow matoran. personally, I would compare any matoran set to the toa metru for the scale of that particular matoran to an average toa.
  17. I think the reason Maku had a Huna was probably that the clear plastic for a Kaukau was more expensive.
  18. I had hoped that they would at least be on shop at home, but no luck. Ebay is your best bet outside Europe.
  19. Woah hang on. This Earth Tribe stuff is news to me. Are we getting new canon details confirmed recently? And I thought that even if there were other tribes, there were only six element lords. Where is this new info coming from? Back on topic, It was an oversight of the pollmakers but can be easily explained by saying he was living elsewhere for a long time. Not every fire tribe member necessarily lived with them all the time. Especially for the 100000 years or whatever since the shattering. He could have been nomadic or lived in another, more remote village and is considered a member of the fire tribe because that's where he came from originally.
  20. Hero factory helmets make great Glatorian helmets. It might be a harder sale to convince people that they could be used as kanohi, because they don't connect at the mouth, but the mouth pin isn't canon anyway. Kanohi connect electromagentically, so where the pin is on the set doesn't really matter. I wouldn't go around canon izing hero factory helmets as masks for the sake of it, but if we had a design contest for a character or something and the winning entry used a hero factory helmet, then I wouldn't see a problem with that.
  21. He was the more popular charater I guess. And in the story he was the more developed charater too. Onepu's biggest appearance was in the MNOLG and even then, Taipu had a bigger role. Nuparu was a major supporting character in 2002 and had a more interesting personality.
  22. It was revealed at the end of the 2008 story, but for most of 2008 the theory was buzzing around- especially when the MU map leaked and the islands were laid out in a person shape.
  23. That's chronological, but not at all a good order to read them in. That would be like watching Death of a Salesman with all the flashbacks first, then all the present-day scenes after. Start with 2001, there are comics (#1-3), a book (Chronicles #1) , and The Mata Nui Online Game. You can do any of those first, it doesn't matter. they all run parallel. Then after everything from 2001 is done read 2002 comics (#4-8), flash animations and book (Chronicles #2). Again, which of those you start with doesnt matter, just as long as you finish all of 2001 first and don't start 2003 'til you're done. in 2003, I'd do all the Bohrok Kal related stuff first there are comics (#9-12) flash animations and books (Chronicles #3 and #4). Then all the rahkshi/mask of light stuff: The Mata Nui Online Game II first, then comics #13 and #14 and then the movie, then comic #15. (There's also a book but it's exactly the same story as the movie) Come ask again after you do all that. 2004 gets complicated.
