Definitely looking forward to further posting, Rayg. There aren't too many BZPers left who understand the importance of life drawing, or in being able to manipulate the audience's emotions.

You are one lucky guy. =P I'm sure you'll make great use of it.

Spi = Win That's all I have to say about that.

Maybe something with the lighting on the legs on the Ussal's left side? The ones on the other side look like they're pretty far out from the main body, but the ones on the left (nearest us) look so close to the body they're shadowed.

Brilliant! I haven't seen an all-pencil cross-hatch piece in a while. I'm loving the line quality. Would you say Brett Helquist was an influence?

Shorter Version Of The Mantax Facts P S A

True, it seems a bit awkward to those of us who've seen the original before, but I'm sure that the guys at Papercutz will appreciate it either way. I think the cutting worked out very nicely, though. It works well on its own. I didn't think you'd actually update my name, though. -
In Soviet Russia, Contest Enters You

Credits could also probably get cut down (making them into slides rather than rolling credits could also speed it up considerably, but at least for one chorus of Makuta's song ). The production logos could probably also go. The reference to Chuck Norris could also get cut, as it would eliminate the Tahu/Bohrok gag at the same time. The same could be said for the Steve Irwin joke, which directly leads into Makuta's song. You could also cut down Nuju's spoken dialogue and just assume he's said as much as the captions say. Don't be afraid with the cuts, either; taking a lot of exposition actually doesn't hurt that much. The audience can usually figure things out. On another note, congrats! Any idea if your cast will get to share a bit of the glory? P.S. You think they'd allow you to have re-recorded dialogue for Vezok? I'd be glad to do so if you needed it. -CL- -
I hope everything worked out well. Personally, I can't wait to see this one. -CL-

Simple: Write something in Latin, spell it backwards, throw in some Pacific Island language roots, jumble the letters, spell it backward again, and you have a name. I, for one, am a fan of "Ambiguity Gun," though. =P

Best of luck! I don't know how you can put that much focus into 2D cut-out animation. Way too frustrating for my tastes.

Who Is Up For A Chalange?!?

Well, there's always the knowledge of a job well done. =D But really, if it's too much of a hassle to do something like paying online or get someone's address, you might want to avoid prizes. However, TPtI is onto something with the banner/avatar idea. -
Awesome to hear. I'm definitely looking forward to it. On another note, what're the chances of seeing a return of the Toa of Plasma or Vezon?

Oooh, so which category will you be entering?
-
Oh, don't worry about that. This time, the Hand-Drawn category is mine! >: D Mwahahaha! =O I challenge thee for thy assumed throne! ... *cough* ~Nikira Yeah, well, you're pretty much due to win, anyways, what with all those times you've almost won. My goal is at least third place in the finals, though I wouldn't mind first. ^^; If that's true, then B_D should win this time around, not myself. She's entered 10 Art Contests. She placed in the finals in 6 contests. But she hasn't won as of yet - she lost by one single vote last time around. I think she deserves to win more than me right now. ~Nikira Oh, yeah. I was almost sure she had won once, though. Eh, I haven't seen the AC history topic in a while. Either way, I've decided not to go for hand-drawn, anyways.

Man, that coloring style's awesome. Can't wait to see the finished result. Mine has an evil Tahu, too. v_v

Well, you know, that's something you have to get used to around BZP. Some topics actually get into the hot topics list just because the artwork's poor while a lot of good work gets ignored. Don't worry about it, just keep posting. One little tip, though, is that video topics are usually ignored unless you give a preview pic that looks amazing. Watching a BZP video takes time to download, so you have to assure the reader with your post that it will be worth taking the three minute loading time. A really interesting screenshot can do the trick.

It's like uber-freedom! 8D And good luck with the PSA.

I'm curious; how does Final Draft differ from your average word processor? Easier formatting, or something? And the best of luck towards your screen-writing.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems. When you reach that point of discontent in your life, though, it's best to take a step back and just try to gather yourself. A good idea would be to take a break from the Internet. Because of your popularity here and on other sites, it's easy to get overwhelmed, especially with what your responsiblities there. But remember, the only responsibility you have is for yourself, so you shouldn't feel guilty about taking a break from a website, whether it be from finishing art requests or acting as staff. Trust me, you'll be a lot happier when you take time for yourself.

Yay, Motts is back! =D Nice to see you again. Yeah, the new setup can get confusing, but it only takes a while to get used to it. Looking at your profile, it was really surprising to see your "School's Out Series" was two years ago. Didn't feel too long ago. Good to hear from you. =D KtS

And how do you think that makes the people who sent you unsatisfactory lines feel? I'll get them soon. -CL-
