You guys will love this story. It's about a girl who has some issues. They say that the first step to fixing an issue is admitting the problem. Well, in this case, this particular girl I know freely admits that she is a procrastinator. But now, it has almost cost her dearly. It almost deprived her of one thing that she immensely enjoys doing. But this story, is a success story. Know who it is yet?? Fine. It's me. So I find out about the Epics Contest in June. I think of an idea, I write a page to a page and a half. And then I go to Tennessee for a few weeks. But when I come back, the storm hits (aka, volunteering three to four hours a day plus work plus an online class) and limits my time. I will admit that I did have time but I just felt... meh. You writers know how it is. You just don't feel inspired and don't feel at all like writing. So anyway, August rolls around and Bzp comes back online. Even then, I barely worked on my entry. Only when I had about a week to go did I actually start writing in earnest. Well, not even then was I incredibly concerned. But Friday night, Saturday night, I stayed up late and worked. I had one more segment to go when it came to Sunday. So I go to church in the morning and get back..... at 2:30/3:00 in the afternoon. (My dad was talking to someone.) Then I have school to do and can't spend all my time writing. I do as much as I can (typing up all I had handwritten) and then I have youth group. Not good, right? I enlist my mom to help finish typing up what I'd written while I'm gone. When I finally get back around 8:45, I fly. When I finally enter, it's 11:00 on the dot (the exact time of the deadline). *Sighs in relief* So now if you read Determination Forever, remember the story behind it. And maybe refrain from commenting on grammar mistakes. Trust me, I know they're there, I just can't edit it. But please, please support Determination Forever in Epics Contest 8 if you really think it deserves it!!!! -JG

Luke Skywalker. Obi Wan Kenobi. Yoda. Mace Windu. Oh yeah. That's what I'm talkin' about.... (Well, not those Jedi in particular.) It's been waaaaay too long since I've posted in a particular epic of mine. But wait, I posted in it last night. It took me like a year. *shrugs* This particular epic covers the story of six Jedi who travel to the foreign world of Bionicle to guard against possible Sith attacks. The status quo changes drastically when they are shot down by unknown forces and end up having their bodies transformed by an unknown substance.... Are you interested yet? So, I haven't given the name yet of the epic because I WANT YOU (*points Uncle Sam style*) to investigate and find out. A cookie goes to the first person who finds it!!! This past Tuesday, I started school as junior. Woot, I'm an upperclasswoman! (Eh, that sounds sorta weird. ) This is gonna be a really interesting year though, because I have five APs (college level classes), pre-Calculus, and Drama III. Not to mention, I'm still finishing up a class online. One thing is clear, I won't have as much time for writing, which is sorta annoying. Don't worry, I'll manage to get some stuff done. Speaking of which, Toa of the New Republic will be getting a new chapter this Sunday. I meant to post it over a month ago but due to some... uh, shall we say, technical difficulties, it didn't happen. And some contest updates for anyone who cares, I'm working on my entry for EC8 and it's coming along fairly nicely. Hopefully I'll get it done. I've yet had a deadline beat me and I don't plan on allowing it now. As far as BS01 goes.... we'll see. Both Exo(fat) and Velox have asked me whether I'll enter. I'm pretty sure I will; I just need to work on my plan for it. Now just to get rolling EC8 first... -JG
