  1. Time to dust off this old thing. How's everybody doing?

    It is now July

    I wasn't ready... I WASN'T READY
  3. Remember the Shadow Spawn, those weird creatures Umarak summons during his fight in Journey To One? When I was in Denmark for LEGO Fan Media Days to interview the product teams, the BIONICLE team had the model that they used for the TV show available, and let me take some pictures of it! Using those pictures, I've reverse engineered the model and put together some instructions for everybody to use. Enjoy!

    vacation

Never vacationed on your own? Not to sound like a curmudgeon, but aside from the whole "actually having to plan" thing, solo vacations are the best!
  5. I'm never quite sure how I feel about Game of Thrones, right up until the finales. That's when I'm fully on board.
  6. I think Bink's ongoing management of BZP in the interim years probably contributed more to him getting the Bionicle.com webmaster job than the small fansite he created for a contest back in the day. I meant more generally that it put him on the path to recognition, rather than being his actual qualification, but you're right; let the server burping never be forgotten!
  7. This actually is what won Kelly (Binkmeister) the solid Gold Hau back in 2001! Presumably this also led to his employment as BIONICLE.com's webmaster years later. I forgot he had an archive, though, I was looking for this the other day...
  8. Hey all, BS01, like BZP, had a chance to go to Billund and interview some people from several franchises and platforms of LEGO. We recently released our first interview, with Rebrick. Check it out, let us know what you guys think! There's a special announcement in there that I hope people look forward to.
  9. He's actually going to be $25! I made the same mistake when reviewing him. It's a lot nicer at that price point, although still not the best value.
  10. Mostly because I haven't gotten around to it! There's a lot of promos and stuff that I'll include, I'm just thinking about how best to incorporate them. For the sets page, I wanted to start with the "main" sets, i.e. those available by standard retailers/LEGO. My overarching plan is anything with a set number gets included, but this will probably require either subpages or a big division in the way the page is set up (on page tabs, maybe?). But they're all definitely in the cards, and if you look at KZN02's Sandbox, you'll see a master list of everything that will eventually be utilized. Of course, if someone made the set page itself for those things, I might be inclined to hurry up and actually get those modifications done =P.
  11. Thought you guys might do something like this Looking forward to seeing what the community can come up with! A daunting prospect, but we have builders up to the challenge.
  12. Name it after an already ridiculously canonized name instead of, y'know, after the guy the discovered it? Yeah... no thanks.
  13. Ugh, I WAS going to go but I had a work thing come up that I can't avoid. Still, I'll be downtown, so maybe I'll pop my head in and say hi. Although Swert never sent me that business card SWERT.
  14. Disney loves LEGO, so... yes. All my yes. Literally all of it.
  15. I always liked the '99 version myself, but I never looked into the revamped models. Maybe I should pick this one up...
  16. He was made in set form, though it was only a brickmaster magazine set- http://brickset.com/sets/20012-1/BrickMaster-Bionicle I think B6 meant set form that was sold in stores instead of being a giveaway item. "Made in set form" seems pretty clear =P. Great MoC regardless, but Click was definitely available as a set.
  17. 2015 Lewa. Awful adrenaline mode feature, can't move his neck, no trans colors, blech. Just terrible.
  18. And you didn't even link the Facebook page? You're a disgrace as a huckster.
  19. Definitely cool pieces! Wonder where the original seller got them? Edit: Looks like they might have acquired them from the original company, that's pretty fun. Will keep an eye on them.
  20. Makuta leading the Visorak? That's actually really interesting looking...
  21. Even then, it took up the majority of the actual cover. Here we have a stock image framed by a lot of empty space; as covers go, that's pretty bad =P.
  22. My god... the skeletons are breeding You must be fun at parties =P
  23. Oh wow, this is so cool! I'd love to visit this place when it's complete. And, of course, it's fantastic that BIONICLE will be integrated into it!
  24. Rather boring covers, but I suppose that's to be expected. I'm much more looking forward to the graphic novel ones.
  25. I figured they'd show SOMETHING of KH3, I just didn't imagine it to look as amazing as it does. I'm so, so excited. Also go see Tangled.
