  1. IC: As long as your loyalty remains unwavering, so the offer shall stand, Icarax promised, I am aware my reputation is for cruelty, but you do not hold the command of your troops by stealing their rewards from under them. IC: "And?" Johmak asked Era, a little impatiently, "What was your decision? Yes or no?"
  2. I generally don't allow Cordak as those things are insanely powerful, so I'm going to have to say no to that rifle. Those Iron Man-esque shoulder launchers might pass though; how powerful an explosion are we talking about here?
  3. IC: I did not ask for your opinion. Icarax's reply to Vinna was sharp and curt. You are not in possession of all the facts, and have no insight into my thoughts. Your opinion therefore, is close to worthless and I would thank you not to volunteer it unsought for in future. Rail returned to being the object of Icarax's attention. You on the other hand have earned genuine thanks. Is there some favour you would ask in return for the information and your service? IC: The wind seemed to pick up a little in Malebranche, carrying with it the stench of sulphur from deep down in the caldera, the heat of the magma that flowed through the city's veins, soot and ash that marred everything with black and angry stains. It also brought Johmak. When she reformed from the cloud of crystals she flew as she took the shape of a Vortixx, not the Rahkshi she had been last time, but the same snowflake patches of white adorned her eyes. "I assume this means you have decided?"
  4. Still got references to the real world stuff. And can you really not come up with a better reason for the weapon to not affect others than "just cuz"?
  5. IC: Icarax was silent for a moment, though given his mental based communication it was hard to tell if this was him deep in thought or him talking to someone else. Tell me the identity of this perpetrator. He sounds...resourceful and I may have use for him. Feel free to also continue your search, you may find him before I do. I care not about his quarrel with this 'Vlad', it has cost me nothing and will end once I have given our Perpetrator a more valuable way to fill his time. A corpse thief is...a macabre twist but I shall have my prefects look into it once they have time to spare. IC: As Alpha apparently though about her news, or lack thereof, Palma went back to her round. She once more passed right by Augustus. He was, after all, dead, nothing she could do for him
  6. Still waiting on those edits to Jodohnn's profile btw No. A.) Sounds way overpowered and B.) Radriarch's been approved, like, a week. Wait a while before you start adding stuff on Reference here to Palma having fixed up everyone in need of it Approved
  7. Just thought I'd mention that Devourers are already a species in Bionicle. I'd give the relevant BS01 link but my phone doesn't like formatting. You could go with Astral Devourer or something if you wanted to suggest they were branches of the same species. Also, going to be honest, these methods of trying to limit player spread sound more and more like plain old railroading the more I think about them. Can't go exploring because a star-behemoth will wreck you up. Can't really go any significant distance because the only hyperspace engines are on faction ships...meaning you have to be part of a faction to actually get anywhere and even then only wherever the GM wants you to go. Limiting player spread would be something like limiting the power of engines, saying they can only hyperspace you so far before you're back to regular physics, necessitating either stop offs to recharge or seeking out a carrier. Or saying there are gravity lanes (or other such pseudoscience) that warp space and let you travel quickly...but only between certain planets, meaning you have to take certain routes along with other players. Or have wormholes that can take you elsewhere, meaning players wanting to use them end up bunching up. What you have currently is just removing player agency for the sake of easier life for you, which only robs them of their fun as well
  8. A thought that has just occurred to me; those cargo beds, are they actually carrying any cargo? Have we loaded anything up on them when we boarded the vehicle? Like perhaps some personal vehicles of our own that we might use to scout around the Wastes?
  9. An inclusion of that in the profile would be nice, along with whatever explanation you can come up with
  10. Just thought I'd point out that actually they kind of are. There's some sort of tangible force that binds a rhotuka's layers of energy together, or other such technobabble, that means they are a little bit solid. Its how the Metru-Hordika grabbed hold of the ones they fired to get to higher ground in the battle of the Coliseum. I do, however, echo the worries about no hyperspace. Space is really big, Ghidora, it takes a while to get places. It took our manned missions to the Moon about three days to get there for example. Three days. To the Moon. And that's our next door neighbour. How long do you think it will take to get to other planets? You're going to have to devise some way of letting ships go faster then should be possible, because otherwise there's going to be a lot of ICs of people playing cards just waiting to get where they're going
  11. IC: It seems my promotion of new assistants was most timely. Icarax turned to his new Prefects, the ones who had stayed by his side after the announcement and upgrade. You will prove your worth. Investigate the murder. Punish the wrongdoer. Mission set, his attention went to Rail. And what was your complaint? IC: Having done her best for most of the inbound patients, fixing up their woes the best she could, Palma could answer Alpha's question. "I've not been able to find out much so far. Along with Mutran and Bitil, Chirox is one of the largest patrons of Corpus Rahkshi. His records of what Rahkshi he has created are as extensive as they are labyrinthine. Is hard tracking down two specific examples."
  12. Loss of limbs was also intended as a hindrance. Can't help but notice it hasn't hindered Vaalku all that much. Sorry Ghidora, fact of the matter is I don't trust you with that drooling thing. Fountain remains not approved About the same as a very sharp sword, which is to say probably not much Can you describe the jumper and the jumping without resorting to referencing real world things? Its partly personal preference and partly that saying "oh just go to youtube" seems a way of getting out of thinking to describe your character
  13. Booger's pus just made him kind of slimy and gross. This seems more advanced, and with more potential for misuse
  14. IC: Icarax nodded, less a gesture of appreciation but more an acknowledgement that events had gone as he'd expected them to. Then go my chosen. Go and reinforce my rule throughout the school. And know that my authority goes with you. OOC: Level up for all five of the Prefects! IC: "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do for them," Palma didn't need to check thoroughly to know that Augustus and Zilnta were gone, and she needed to focus on Rider. "Give them to the Porters, they'll go bury them." IC: "I can do that, yes. Though if I'm honest I'd prefer you wait outside this time. Nothing personal, I'd just like my house to remain standing." Clearly Fang had not quite been forgiven by the gold-clad Vortixx. "I'm sure she won't have any objections to meeting you on the street if you're off on your journey."
  15. Slif is approved Hmm, approved As long as you don't alter what power he is or what weapons he has or thing like that, and just stick with a bit of maintenance then yes. Eh, still sounds like you've got a Rahkshi with two powers there. I know you've said the drool has no poisonous effects, but its still a second ability along with the chain lightning
  16. Hard to do anything with it when you're posting it in such a piecemeal fashion, Ghidora. Work on the story and intro, add that in, then come back
  17. Hmmm, since the GSR that Grotez and the players are aboard is the one occupied by Makuta, what does he get out of sending out the Arks? Or is his secret grand plan the "something off" that's mentioned? Would it be possible to play as a Rahkshi or other servitor of the BoM who might have been clued in to the scheme?
  18. IC: As the last of those he had summoned gathered around him, Icarax looked upon his chosen. From what Tridax has told me his running of this school began to meet problems as the attendance grew. Increases in injuries, a growing trend of deaths as those with murderous tendencies were given more free reign. All because Tridax felt he could try and run this institute by himself. I will not make that mistake. When I conquer a nation I employ captains, field commanders, admirals. People who can run areas that I do not have the time to oversee for every second. And so it will be here. He looked upon Sliver, Grim, Recherce, Shark and Draco, giving each one an inspection that felt as though he were x-raying them. You will be my prefects. You will maintain what semblance of order you can in the school. I want damages, injuries, loss of life, all these things to be kept to a minimum. You had all demonstrated the ruthlessness, the cunning, the tenacity that I would hope make you excellent representatives of my rule. The first, I would hope, of many. I wish you to consider this offer carefully, for while being one of my Prefects will grant you extensive authority amongst your fellow students it will undoubtedly paint a target on your backs. I hope you will be up to the task should you accept it. IC: Rose was a simple task to fix. Her wounds were extensive, but they were very basic, a series of slashes and punctures. Palma had been patching that manner of injury up since her first days. Rose would probably need a bit of rest but she'd be okay wen she woke up IC: As Kat went to her intimate measures to keep Fang warmed up a couple of the Matoran spearmen returned with Grossh. "You know, as much as I tell you I'm helping you all out of the goodness of my heart, I am going to have to start charging if you insist on breaking my stuff."
  19. Waiting only for me to muster the energy to write the post Then approved So he's a fusion of kraata and the armour then? In a sort of ninja turtle shell?
  20. Sure. I'll assume he's approved now, yes? He would be, yes. So this painting is basically him creating holographs instead of holograms right? If he wants to create 3D illusions he's still got to use his power, he can;t just paint something on a wall and have it literally leap out like a real thing
  21. IC: The Matoran wielding spears halted in their tracks, first at the sight of yet more Rahkshi, and then at the slightly unpleasant sight of one of them speaking. Still, the words Era made included the recognisable name of "Grossh". A couple of the guards looked at each other, each trying to pass the responsibility of deciding what the Karz they were supposed to do next onto the other. "Look, you just...you just stay there, okay?" said the one that broke first, "You just...don't move. You want Grossh then we'll go fetch him. Don't melt anything else." IC: Palma gave Rose a once over. Didn't appear to be anything physically wrong with her. It was always so helpful when the problem was something obvious like a spear through the chest. "Put her on a bed. I'll be with you in just a second."
  22. I think that settles every question I have about Arsenal. You mind editing those details into the profile for when I link to it?
  23. So the blasts would be something like Vezok's vision power, where it feels like you've been thwacked with a sledgehammer but there's no heat-based side effects or anything? Those exhaust vents he's supposed to have, are they for the energy cannons? If we blocked or damaged them would that affect the cooldown?
  24. IC: The disks stopped for a moment. A couple of the guards who had so bravely charged out a few seconds ago suddenly looked uncertain, and some shuffled back towards the entrance with their covering fire suddenly gone. If Fang had been able to hear beyond the walls to what the watchers within were whispering he might have caught fragments of confused mutterings. Some of Fang's bellows had sounded slightly like "Grossh". Close enough, at least, that the more perceptive of the guards had begun to wonder if the raging Rahkshi before them was in fact an invited guest. But perhaps there were not enough of those guards. Perhaps Fang's student speech was just too unintelligible. Perhaps simple practicality won out, there was too much risk of fire to not do anything. Whatever the reason, the freeze disks started coming again... IC: Palma was drinking water from a flask a Porter had brought to her from the kitchens when Cadwin entered. Healing could be very thirsty work. "You've come to the right place. What's the problem?"
  25. Thanks for the clarification on the metal, Approved Swarm is approved, but I've got a few question about Arsenal. Those energy cannons, what kind of damage are we talking for when they hit something? And since it looks like they draw their power from Arsenal himself, how often can he use them before tiring himself out and draining the batteries. You also leave his appearance on an "and". And what? Don't leave us hanging
