  1. IC: A solid clank of metal on stone, sharp and staccato, rang out behind the squabbling trio of Booger, Burn and Leviathan. The end of a haft rapping onto the flagstones of the infirmary. It was, of course, the handle of Palma caduceus-axe, thunking into the ground to let the three know she was currently standing right behind them. And to remind them of what her stance was on fighting in her domain. Her literal stance, in this case, was leaning forward to glare at them, the spines that reached up from her back making her seem taller as well as spikier. "Is there a problem here?"
  2. Ugh, another week where the accomodation they send me to has no internet. At least in the last few weeks I could use my phone's free-roaming, this time around there's no signal, internet or phone of any kind. I'm writing this while having a break on site, because even the sheep are getting better wifi than me. Bah, is there anything I need to address? Keeping up is a struggle when I only get a couple of half hours a day online
  3. IC: "You know the situation better than I do. If you think Illusive presents a threat to the student body I would inform as many of them as possible. Personally I would recommend doing that anyway, if people know who's making those notes and why they're less likely to listen. But..." She shrugged, "If you think its best to keep quiet then I will do so. But I make no promises for how long." IC: Rolling his eyes that yet another of his chosen assassins had failed in his mission, Icarax gave Spindle a quick jolt of healing energy and dumped him in the ring of spikes. He had expected a higher casualty rate from the assassins, they were not achieving what he had expected. Something to bear in mind for future assignments, perhaps...
  4. From what I've read of the two assassins left both seem to be posting fairly regularly. I'm assuming both know they're actually assassins as one has made it kind of obvious IC. But the other has managed to keep themselves very well hidden though, to the point that I'm starting to wonder if they did actually get my PM...
  5. Carapace, Sim Xire and Kewlah all approved
  6. IC: "So we have someone who is a lot more dangerous than normal roaming around the school..." This didn't bode well. Whoever they were they clearly knew what they were doing, making them a far worse threat than a random lunatic. There was nothing quite as menacing as a psychopath that planned ahead. "I don't suppose you could give me a name or description? And while I'm going to assume coming to me means you don't want to go to Icarax, I'm going to advise you do that. The more people know the more chance we have of catching them."
  7. Do those sphere just add weight to his punches, or are they spiked or something? I let Mutant (not your character, I know, I'm just making a point here) being a rip-off of the Indominus Rex pass because the I-Rex was more of a plot device than a character. But Emperor Palpatine is a character and you're kind of ripping him off. Not letting that slide I'm afraid. Sure, that seems fine Going to question the use of the phrase "potent venom" there. Does that mean he can use venom but not much? Because the venom was something I asked you to remove, it was the webbing I asked you to nerf Can I get specification on how long that grapple cable can reach? From what I know of Anglo-Saxon my name is pronounced "Weird Bith Full Ah-Red"
  8. Not to my knowledge. Icarax had an eye on the guy since he got shot and all but he's not going to interfere unless Spindle is more seriously wounded. Back on Voha...like I said, kind of want to avoid pets being secondary powers for their owner. Cut out the venom and the invulnerability, and think of a way to limit the webbing
  9. IC: "There was a Matoran here?!" Palma's voice was equal parts shock and suprise. How had they got here, where had they gone? Had they been a survivor from Gorast's attack?
  10. @New Necron: Approved @Chantant: Approved @Kaita: Approved @Carapace: My issues are less to do with Carapace and more with Voha. You say being a baby means his own shell is limited to physical things, no Rhotuka. But does that cover the various other abilities that are inbuilt into Visorak? The venom, the webbing, the Vohtarak beserker invulnerability? Other pets have been just a crab, or just a cat or just a bird (or bat, in Vlad's case), I've tried to avoid them being basically portable powers for their owner. @Walata: Approved @Liliate: Also Approved. Though for my own curiosity, is that long-sightedness or short-sightedness she has?
  11. Approved So, if he's so rotten and contaminated...how is he still alive? He's got maggots eating him, that should make him pretty unable to do pretty much anything
  12. IC: Palma raised an eyebrow at the request from Rail but nevertheless took him aside to one of the few beds that had privacy screen curtains, pulling them around herself and Rail to hide them from view. "You have some concerns about something?"
  13. Yeah looks good to me. Star Trek: To Boldly Go Approved [x1]
  14. Augustus is approved, as is modified Illusive
  15. IC: [Olari] The Cult of Pelko had made a mistake bringing their gods signature sensation with them. To the warriors of Bionifight fear was not the rock that slowly crushed you beneath its weight. It was not the lead that filled your veins until you could not move. It was not even the black ice that froze your spine in glacial grip. To them, it was a whetstone. It sharped your senses, your mind, your anger. It gave you an edge, fired off sparks in your soul. An in Olari those sparks burned bright. With Kales dragons drawing most of the attention in the sky, she was relatively unnoticed, one shimmering blot like a streamer lost from its lightning bolt. Her attacks...less so. It was hard to ignore a storm of sharp and jagged metal that rained down, stabbed your friend, then rose back into the air and prepared to come for you next. The most vindictive hail ever. Naturally the fireball that was Terry's grand goodbye caught her attention, she couldn't not see it from her skyward post. And she saw the ruin of the plague god squirming in the crater and anger flared within her all the brighter. Bionifight had been a cycle of wounds that could be washed away like a days sweat, of deaths that meant nothing but bragging rights and were forgotten within days. Well no more. She hadn't known Terry, probably couldn't have picked him out of a crowd. But he had wanted his death to accomplish something and by the Great Spirit she wasn't going to allow yet another hollow sacrifice. She reached out with her will and twisted the magnetic fields around around the form of Vitsaus, turning them inwards and pumping power into them second by second. If the sudden imploding force didn't pull the mechanoid inside out then the debris and shrapnel being pulled his way would smash and batter him to a pulp. And if even that didn't work, she was already massing a barrage of iron bars just for him... OOC: Mobile post, no colour
  16. IC: Icarax was mildly disappointed. From what he had heard of the much-vaunted intelligence of the new breed he had been expecting this assignment to be an almost political event, with attempts made at alliances and strategy. And while it was true there had been some smarter voices in the hubbub, it was descending into a series of brawls and skirmishes. The assassins weren't even taking advantage of it, the three that were left. Wait, one of them had tried something...and got shot in the back. Marvellous. Clearly, the Makuta thought to himself, he should have put a bit more forethought into choosing that one as an assassin. He maintained a little attention on Spindle, assessing the extent of his injuries in case they were sufficient enough for elimination IC: As Palma went from one section of the infirmary to another, she noticed a couple of Porters lifting the sheets and matress off a bed, taking them away to launder the bloodstains out. It was odd though, she couldn't remember that bed having been used...Perhaps Jayar or Zelnos had seen to the patient. Though for that matter it didn't seem like she'd seen either of them around much either...
  17. Not really, no. Thats why I was asking. There's been issues in the past with characters having "ooh, mysterious!" objects or attributes and then abusing them to be more than a little bit deus ex machina with them. Thats why I wanted it pinned down whether the glow did anything, or if it was just a glow Approved
  18. Not really "forgot" so much as "clearly haven't had the time". You noticed me making any posts in the main RPG? I am not omnipresent, despite my best efforts, and cannot be everywhere all the time Depends on the chain. You'd have to run it by me first Just want some clarification on whether that orange glow is just an aesthetic thing or whether it has some hidden properties not mentioned in the profile
  19. You can say the same of any knife though. I could go to my kitchen, pick the closest knife to hand and chuck it across the room, its just I probably wouldn't hit what I was aiming for.I'm guessing if you're set on leaving then there's no point commenting on Mad Horse. Shame you feel that way, but I'll give you kudos for accepting your own flaws like that. There's many I can point fingers at, even on this site, who have trouble with that Vinna is approved
  20. IC: Icarax kept a watchful eye on the presence of the newcomers. They were interfering with the participants of his assignment, and that was annoying. But if this was a real world scenario then they would not be operating as a closed circuit. There would be interferences and interruptions. This could serve as decent practise. Perhaps it might teach the archer in black and white not to get distracted. She had gone from being one of the most outspoken voices to being on the fringe and overlooked, potentially easy prey for any of the remaining four assassins And the twins who had evidently not been taught humility by their creator had been diverted by other students, not taking part in the assignment, so things had worked themselves back in order. Still, he'd keep a watch, just in case their next move did require his attention...and action
  21. Approved Approved Approved Approved I'm going to say Approved, but like with Helix watch it on how you use the lab. You start conveniently coming up with the exact potion you need every time and I'm going to have to stomp you
  22. Where no man has ever gone before I would assume One thing that worries me slightly; when we had the FTL RPG it ended up focusing on the handful of players who had picked the top spots which left the rest of the crew a little left behind. Are you hoping that players submitting their own plots is going to avoid that?
  23. @Realm of the Teridax: It just feels like you're trying to write something other than a Bionicle RPG here. You've got the names of a few baddies scattered out there, but as they're appearing out of context and out of character (Bohrok, for example, were never servants of Teridax) and have replaced elemental and Kanohi powers with magic. How does one even be a priest in a Bionicle universe anyway, is Mata Nui bestowing divine blessing on you? And how do those level ups actually affect us, in what way do we become better at wielding our power? And...well, whats the point of this all? We're just on the island and have endless fights? Thats going to get boring. And its going to get boring fast. You're going to need some kind of overarching plot, some kind of story, something to actually give the players purpose. @Certavus Rising: Eh, this feels more like you're writing out an epic to me. You've clearly got the backstory and plotting down and I'm wondering what room there would be for players, and if they'd feel railroaded if they did something that didn't fit in with The Song of Ko and Ta (yes I know those are Matoran Universe not Spherus Magna, hush now) you've got going @Unnamed Timageness RPG: So how are these groups decided? Do they just clump together in the order they're approved? So the first six to get the thumbs up go together, the next six go together and so on? Or do people make groups together in the discussion topic? Our characters are being pulled from somewhere to participate in this, are they all being pulled from the same universe, or is this like Bionifight where they could be from anywhere? Are the feuding forces who occupy each area the same each time? Is this a case of having Red team versus Blue Team all over or will they be specialised depending on what the area is like?
