  1. Correct you are lol updated the name of the weapon with the correct one Thanks a lot though really appreciate it. As for the mask, there are a few different versions of the inorganic Kadin in Studio. I actually made a quick test render of them all to see which one I liked the most haha strangly enough the original set one isn't in there yet :/ but I actually felt that it made more sence him having an inorganic one since the Inika versions were created under pretty unique circumstances.
  2. Possibly a misprint like you said. I don't think it's painted cus it does look like the plastic is that colour. Maybe like Laval said, if someone tried making a silicone mold of this peice it's possible that one of the silicone parts, probably the curing agent may have altered the parts colour. Afterall they do use a similar chemical to colour the plastic so it could be a chemical reaction.
  3. I would have to say the fragmented way that the story was told. If it had come out now I don't feel that it would have been as popular {just look at G2} but I do feel that it's ashame that it never got the story told in a consistant way, like an animated series or more movies for example.
  4. These are fantastic. Especially the Rahi they really do capture the feel of the original sets, very nice. I honestly could see this working in reality. Would love to see you tackle later generations too.
  5. Looking rather dapper with his top hat and cane. Also colour scheme is perfect, love those complementary colours.
  6. Just a quick set style. Wanted to see if I could make him look more unique. Custom made Magnetic Bolt launcher and made the sphere launcher look like the hero factory ones, looks more like a prototype than the final ones in my opinion. Also have to say how much I love these custom parts, the mask being an inorganic Kadin designed by KhingK. Was just testing some inorganic Kadin's see which one I liked.
  7. Got to admit, this started as an idea for a diorama before Photoshop took a hold of it lol. Just a poor deformed Matoran desperately trying to escape as the crazed titan watches on. Is this reality? Or some Horrible nightmare created by Karzahni himself? Not that it matters, they are both one and the same thing in this twisted land of "repair"
  8. The hand and upper fingers are parts of a custom articulated hand from a custom parts pack in Studio It's pretty much an Inika hand with individually jointed fingers thumbs and knuckles. The ends of the fingers are an actual peice though, coulden't find the actual name but they are labled as LegoBarb / Claw / Horn / Tooth on bricklink.
  9. Hey, since you seem to really like that scene I did a quick photo edit of the "I am nothing" moc of the actual scene just for you. Added it to the thread ^_^

  10. Now these are extremely cool. I love prototype sets, super interesting to see since it gives a very nice look at the design process. Thanks for sharing, would love to see more.
  11. 200% agree on the Mata heads they are just a nightmare to get apart. Honestly never found an effective way to do it.
  12. Now who's double posting lol Thanks though
  13. Thank you very much Oww your right I should have waited until Halloween to do this lol ahh well, too late now. Thank you Thank you, just uploaded one with the background and a bit of quick editing, see what you think.
  14. Just felt like doing something that would actually be impossible to build in reality. Feeling nostalgic so decided to do the iconic first true appearence of Teridax from ther Mata-Nui online game. In my opinion this is the most terifying that he has ever been, eldrich unexplainable and a true horror to behold. Slightly different to the scene as this version is a mass exuding from the back of the Matorans head, no light in the matorans eyes, only Nothing.
  15. Exactly what I was thinking. Promotional art is often produced before final designs are set in stone. So you do tend to find a few discrepancies like this in promo images for all sorts of things.
  16. Have you ever played dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin? Cus I always imagined the entity having a voice similar to Aldia. Deep, wise but distorted almost like a Mish mash of voices, both male and female and yet somehow neither. I could also see the metru build bring something very similar to how it would appear too.
  17. Toa Mata is simply to distinguish them. In the story they were built by Artakha with the express purpose of protecting Mata Nui from harm. Granted they did a pretty poor job of that considering they were asleep when he was poisoned and he also died and got taken over by Teridax under their watch but that is in story the reason for the name anyway.
  18. They actually do have that modern doom overkill vibe to them don't they lol
  19. The hands look so skinny and creepy. Aldo nice to see the stars skakdi head getting some use too.
  20. Always love seeing knights kingdom parts being used, those sets had some really cool bits in them. Love the bulky upper body but slender legs. Nice choice of feet to. Feels like he could throw that spear with so much upper body strength that he would need those feet to keep him grounded.
  21. What a lovely and creative use of parts. Makes me think of a hermit crab that scooped up a load of old masks to make a shell. :3
  22. Saaaame. I think we all had a bit of a slump towards the end, you could really tell that Lego were falling out of love with the line and it really shows in the Nuva designs. Don't get me wrong the designs aren't as terrible as they seem it's just that they are meant to be the Nuva which they just aren't. In any case so glad you like the design I've also finished Onua which I uploaded too and currently working on Gali too.
  23. Go grab those add-on packs I linked you to, they have a ton of awesome parts, official stuff like you mentioned but also custom stuff like the mask, claws and chest armour.
  24. Packs Thats where I found the ones I'm using. Just download each parts pack and read the instructions to install them. It's a nice easy process just drag and drop the files into the correct stud.io folder. Sadly there isn't every single part in there but there is a good selection of official and custom parts to keep you building
  25. Super cute love the shoes, the little ice-cream is such a nice tough and her crabbo is just adorable.
