Haha. I've been working at a grocery store for over a year now -- it's not half bad. And it's certainly better than a fast food joint. I've met some great people on the job, and I'm sure you will too. And don't forget that check. Oh, it's amazing the joy that little slip of paper brings me every Thursday.

He lies. I had to work at a grocery store for a year, and it was three-quarters bad. It's boring, frustrating, and a waste of your talents. Obviously if you need some money (like I did) you're going to end up there anyway, but just keep your eyes out for something better. Don't get trapped in the world of the unionized food-service industry, it's not a nice place. Congrats though, and if you ever need any pointers, you know who to ask (me, not Kex, he's just a bagger ).

I think both of you are right. It just depends on how the day goes.
