  1. IC: Eidolon Following a bird? How could I have not spotted that one? he thought. Still, the information was flowing in as he had expected. Without revealing his own name, he already knew the Skakdi leading the group was called 'Kordan'. Nobody understood the importance of just listening more than a toa of sonics, and more than once he had reaped the rewards of this skill.
  2. Vakama had dreams, and I believe it was stated that Mata Nui dreamed a bit while he was having his long sleep. Both characters are a bit unique for that sort of thing. A less canon source would be MNOLG 2, where Hahli awakes from a dream at the very beginning of the game. This also answers your question about sleeping CeeCee, because pretty much all the huts you find in MNOLG 2 have a bed in them. MNOLG 2 isn't 100% on these things, but there's no reason for any of those things not to be right.
  3. I can't say this makes me particularly emotional, I wasn't a big fan of the Bionicle sites after about '05. The one disappointment is this really doesn't add much hope that Greg will finish the serials, but that's been fairly bleak for a while.
  4. I've found it surprisingly challenging. This MOC actually started out as an attempt to make an Exo-matoran/Boxor thing, for the matoran seen in some of the pictures above. But I was trying to make something where the matoran was completely enclosed by the suit except for the head, and it looked silly. I've got pictures of that, I might post them at some point.
  5. Cheers Chro, the gap in the knees is an interesting point. It's the usual matter of posability versus aesthetics, and your idea of putting a slizer foot there does fill the hole, but the posability is perhaps more compromised than you think. When the legs are straight its all fine, but the egg shaped pieces either side of the knee force the slizer foot off if you bend the knee past a certain point. Of course, I might have misinterpreted where you want this slizer foot to go, but no matter. I'm upgrading the whole MOC, as there's just a lot of stuff I'm not actually that happy with. I've already redone the torso to make the lower part slightly wider, the whole thing more stable (Don't know if you can tell but there's a central connection point in the torso where it is just connected by one axle, it's really not stable). As for the knees, I'm going to change them to get rid of the egg pieces, so the slizer feet may be on the upgrade. As for the Exo-Toa back story, it just seemed convenient to me. He was bigger, I wanted him to be strong but no elemental powers, so it all kind of fitted in. I don't own an Exo-toa set, but I'd say this thing is bigger probably. Obviously all your stuff is scaled up a bit, but that works as well. I'd like to see you make an Exo-toa for one of your own Toa though.
  6. IC: Eidolon He made casually to follow behind. Preferably, he would've been at the back of the group, but the others were suspicious of him, and he felt Kordan might speak up if he walked at the back of the group. He was yet to find out anybodies names, of course. He hadn't told them his, so doubtless they weren't going to trust him with something he didn't trust them with. He'd just have to keep alert, information slips out when you're not trying to hide it, and he doubted any of the group actually wanted to hide their names.
  7. IC: Eidolon "The ever-present silent one speaks at last!" Eidolon said, apparently extremely satisfied with the three words that had been uttered. "And immediately he's asking all the right questions." He made as if to move the group onwards, beginning to walk in the direction they had been moving. Partly this was an attempt to avoid telling them who he was, but also he was intrigued by the situation. If someone were in imminent danger, it seemed unlikely they'd carve a note into a stone and have it flown to Ga-koro.
  8. IC: Eidolon "I don't know Zahkon," laughed Eidolon. "I've been following since Ga-koro, and I heard this Skakdi say Zahkon was the person he was coming to help. Gift of a Toa of sonics. But enough chat. Life apparently hangs in the balance."
  9. IC: Eidolon "I would consider you foolish if you did trust me," Eidolon said to the matoran. "But I consider trust to be a fools errand." "As for if this is any of my concern," he added. "I like to make things my concern. Don't let me hold you up, I thought you said Zahkon was in trouble."
  10. IC: Eidolon "If you have to ask that question, then you have no way of knowing if I tell the truth," Eidolon said slyly. "However, I am a being of honesty, or choice honesty, Heh. I saw you in Ga-koro, and heard you discussing things in cautious tones, too cautious for an innocent person. Also such an...unusual group. Two Skakdi, who keep a matoran in the dark, a Toa who you seem to have little care for and -" He gave Gratoraxe a long, calculating stare. " - Lord only knows what..."
  11. IC: Eidolon "No need to shout," Eidolon said coldly, stepping out of the dense shrubbery and walking towards them. "Forgive me, I was merely...curious."
  12. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] Yes, the name Bulkor is kind of cheesy, it was the first thing I came up with. Bulkor was a Toa who was fused with an Exo Toa suit, and became Nuva in a single energized protodermis event. As a result, he is heavily armoured, large and his Pakari Nuva makes him extremely strong. Unfortunately the Exo-suit presence means a loss of his elemental powers. The original inspiration was Iron man for this, but it soon became clear what I was building was bigger and bulkier, so I figured hulk like powers would suit him more. You can probably see the Iron man stuff going on in the lower legs, although my photography seems even worse than usual today, so I might try and get some more pictures at some point.
  13. IC: Eidolon He was having to follow the group at a much closer distance than he would have liked. They looked purposeful though, and in a hurry so they were unlikely to see him. And they weren't going to hear him moving behind them, as moving silently is easy for a Toa of sonics.
  14. IC: Ranama "Uh...yeah," said Ranama. "Sorry, I know that looked like I was talking to myself, and I suppose I technically was. Just a minor two minds in one body problem. I hope I didn't interrupt anything."
  15. IC: Eidolon The latter then? The jungle? Interesting developments indeed. He casually headed into a nearby shop however, and began to browse, but his ears were pricked firmly on the conversation of the group outside. As a Toa of sonics, this wasn't a particular strain. He deduced that the note had delivered some news, judging by the Skakdi's attitude, bad news, sufficiently bad to warrant immediate travel to Le-wahi. Eidolon only moved from one inn to the other, and often followed strangers, at a distance, just to find out what they were doing. OOC: Eidolon to Le-wahi, but time skip of 10 minutes behind Kordan's group.
  16. IC: Ranama Ranama gestured to the barman for another drink, which he took and gulped down half of it in one. 'Starting to enjoy yourself' asked Krahma. 'Maybe,' Ranama thought. 'Until you spoke. Can't you just go?' 'No, genuinely,' Krahma replied. 'If I could, I would. For me, a life without you would be brilliant.' "I created you," said Ranama, out-loud, to strange looks from the barman, and other people in the bar.
  17. IC: Tayis "Mayhaka made his bed," Tayis said. "One assumes he is still lying in it. At least he was relatively safe during the Rahkshi battle." Tayis' thoughts turned to Dynra and Zekize. The revelation that Zieta was alive was a blessing, but the fate of those two was still unknown to him, and frankly the joy of seeing Zieta alive was lessening. She was a wreck of a Toa now, for whatever reason she had been incredibly personally involved with their mission against Sixhand. He absent mindedly pulled out his gold coin, and began to turn it over in his fingers. The surface of the coin was dirt free because of the number of times he did this.
  18. IC: Tayis "Well," Tayis said. "Rest or no rest, we're here for the night. If you want to torture yourself pointlessly, that's up to you. If it helps, my power over gravity can be used to render you unconscious."
  19. IC: Tayis "Ryzen brought us here to rest," he said bluntly. "We're not going to get out of the drifts before dark, and we don't want to be out there without light. And frankly, you're a state."
  20. They're not wrong about the fan involvement in western Europe. The most involved I get with other Lego fans is on BZP. No events or anything.
  21. IC: Tayis "Well," Tayis said flatly. "I may not be so certain of my destiny, but I know my duty." He didn't elaborate on this, but instead sat down on the floor. "If we're going to get some rest," he said. "Staying on your feet isn't going to help."
  22. IC: Tayis "Destiny? And you know what that is, I suppose? Been up at the Ko-Koro citadel to check with the matoran prophets have you?"
  23. IC: Tayis "Priority?" Tayis said. "And what are you thinking my priority is?"
  24. IC: Tayis "Sheltering from the weather mainly," Tayis said to Tivanu. "I'm Tayis, and this is Zieta. Ryzen was kind enough to show us here when he found us lost in the drifts."
