  1. No, I think he meant alternate versions in the same universe. Like Takanuva couldn't swap his mind with any of the Shadow Takanuvas that Tridax brought to the MU. Otherwise who would they be swapping their mind with?
  2. What if their alternate universe counterpart cottoned on to what happened, and used the mask to switch back immediately? Or is who they swap with random?
  3. Sounds like the most fun in the universe. All the combo models as well? Everything from Matoran-nui to Trinuma, and including the Zyglak? All of them?
  4. Some subtle changes that overall look good. The black on the shield sticks out a bit, but its a good concept. It certainly looks like it would shield him more than the original. I find it interesting you chose to attach the Nynrah blaster to his arm, but not the shield, as generally you find shields look good strapped to the forearm. I reckon the shield would look better on the side of his arm, I'd leave it up to you whether you left the blaster on his arm as well or not. I don't know if it would be odd to have both tools attached to his arms...
  5. IC: Eidolon "Maybe check the hospital?" asked Eidolon. "I'm not Zahkon, and don't know him, but if I were carrying a wounded Onu-matoran, pretty sure I'd take him there."
  6. IC: Ranama Ranama waved to the friendly Lesterin in the bar, before stumbling out of the front door into the street. It was the very early hours of the morning, still dark. He didn't know if it was just the drink messing with his brain, but Krahma wasn't bothering him at the moment. He meandered across the walkways of Le-koro, ending up at his hut. He blinked for a moment, as everything in there was exactly how he had left it several days previously. His weight set still sat in the corner along with the exercise matt. He almost considered doing a quick workout, but figured it was probably unwise when he hadn't slept for a while, and was having difficulty standing up straight. He crashed onto his bed, and found himself almost instantly drift off. He had a dream. For once it was not the sinister Rahkshi ridden battlefield, instead he found himself standing on a tiny outcrop of rock at sea. There were clouds on the horizon, and sitting on the other side of the rock was another Le-matoran, his feet dangling in the water. "I've been waiting for you," he said, standing up and turning to reveal he wasn't wearing a Kanohi. "Only one of us can wear the mask," Ranama breathed. "Oh yes," replied Krahma, diving at Ranama, who sidestepped him. "We've still got to live with each other," Ranama pointed out. "Unless one of us were to get lost in this endless ocean," laughed Krahma. "But I'm no killer. Are you?" Ranama jolted awake and fell out of bed. Sun was pouring in from outside, he had obviously been out longer than he thought. He didn't know what he was going to do. OOC: Eidolon with Kordan to Le-koro.
  7. IC: Eidolon Kordan was letting more names slip in his anger, but Tepi's name was pretty useless to Eidolon. He felt it was pretty likely the Onu-matoran was dead. There was a lot of blood, and the path didn't seem particularly direct, so the Vortixx 'Zahkon' probably didn't know where he was going. He decided to just look at the ground, and dropped his pace briefly so that he fell to the back of the group alongside the Toa of Ice.
  8. IC: Eidolon "To Le-koro?" he asked. "A good plan. The murdering Le-matoran may have gone home as well."
  9. IC: Eidolon "Unlikely," he said as they wandered back to the trail. "Its the middle of the jungle, and this trail isn't fresh. And judging from the time the bird arrived in Ga-Wahi, I'd guess he sent it off at night. Not many witnesses in the middle of a jungle at a night." He was trying to be helpful, but he knew perfectly well he was probably coming across as very unhelpful.
  10. IC: Eidolon Eidolon listened into the matoran's conversation as they walked away for a few second, but tuned out as it was of no interest to him. If they were going to inform the Gukko force, then plainly there was no need for a Toa to be with them. "The trail was back there wasn't it," he said, pointing back to the trail they were following. "You know, if Zahkon was rushing with his wounded matoran friend, it's likely that he was taking him to a hospital. This trail could just end up at a Koro."
  11. Seeing as you plugged asked nicely, I'll post for this MOC. First a pernickety story point, your average Toa wouldn't wear a Tryna, or a mask shaped like a Tryna because of what it represents. Now onto the MOC. Starting with the axe, which I like a lot. I'm glad you plugged this actually, because I was working on a similarish axe based sort of off this (I've looked at this in the past but didn't post), and another look at this is helpful. The use of a visorak pincer is clever, and the slizer piece there is good as well. I've developed distaste for weapons that just have a weapon piece on a stick. The slizer piece smooths it out, adds a little detail and makes it your own. Onto the body, the torso and arms are great, I like the way you've slipped in sand green even for the tiniest of details (minifig hand ). I must get some of those T-pieces you've used in the hands, because everybody uses those to add detail to hands, and my MOCs always just have standard hands, which often look undersized. The legs seem a little odd to my mind. They don't flow with body or the feet, the legs seem kind of stepped forward a bit compared to the rest of the body. I'm struggling to put it into words. At the ankles, there's a lot of shin that sticks out over the foot, but none that goes backwards. And its the same problem where it meets the body, and it looks a bit odd to me. The legs themselves look alright on their own, although perhaps the lower parts are a little flat/wide. I love the thornax launcher pieces in the legs, they're not immediately obvious, but they look awesome. The feet I'm not sure look quite the right size, but I've never been a fan of Metru feet, I nearly always swap them out for Mata feet. Not sure that would work in this case, perhaps the non-clawed inika foot would work? Pretty much all this stuff is nitpicking though, it's your usual brilliance Chro.
  12. Glad you think the Miru works, I wasn't really sure about it. The colours are a bit more overtop than the actual bird, so I can see how it has a tropical look, even though it isn't meant to be.
  13. I don't have a red axle in that length, but I don't think it will work well anyway. There's already a lot of colours, but they're all in that same kind of area of green/blue. Throwing in red eyes will make it look like a sort of devil-bird or something.
  14. I doubt that, you always seem to come out with brilliant stuff, and I built this in about an hour out of sheer boredom. If you devote a little work to it, you ought to be one up on me. I wasn't sure about the eyes, I figured the stud thick end of the 4 length liftarm looked sufficiently like an eye. Trying to fit anything else in would either be too big, or the wrong colour. Making black eyes on a black background in Lego is a tricky thing to get right.

  16. Because 'blue tit' was just too short for a title. [1] [2] [3] Thought I'd just whip up something real quick, I don't have much time at the moment for MOCing. Picture 3 is a pretty poor angle. It looks best from a distance I'd say, because the actual thing is bigger than the bird is in real life.
  17. Blade and Pulsate seem like the most likely to me, they'll get my vote.
  18. I reckon it'll be a little more complicated to make CeeCee see on the right... CeeCeeCee.
  19. Bohrok online animations and Takanuva's blog are my fondest memories. And Piraka attack. 3 weirdly separate things there...
  20. I had an ear infection that wrecked my left ear once. Its uncomfortable but it passes, particularly if you get medication. My problem is I now get serious paranoia about my ears.
  21. My catalogue arrived today, which surprised me, as I didn't know I still got it. Barring power functions motors, I haven't bought a proper set in 2 years, and flipping through this catalogue really gave me an itch to buy something. Unfortunately my tastes are rather more expensive these days, and I can't afford to buy an £80 technic car just because this thing arrives in the post and dangles it tantalisingly in front of me.
  22. And a happy birthday to you, DeeVee. Make sure it's a great one!
  23. My attempts to go without Lego while my exams were on failed, however they lasted long enough for my abilities with power functions to diminish somewhat. Where once I could build a fastish, solid, good looking car, there is now a slow, slightly wobbly car with no bodywork at all. And unfortunately I can't rectify this, because I still have exams and only have a little bit of time to devote to these things...
  24. GSB seems to be getting a lot of votes, and I'm going to add to that. Shame CeeCee wasn't around to see himself get killed.
