  1. What do you guys think about the Skull Spiders being this generation's version of the Visorak? What I mean is the way Visorak mutated their victims like the Toa Metru with Hordika venom. Do you guys think they'll go this same route for this storyline by having the Skull Spiders, with the way they attach to different characters' heads after knocking off their masks, mutate people into different versions? Maybe this might lead to the second year, where we see a new wave of the Masters in different forms.
  2. Clone sets are the solw reason I stopped buying after 2003 because I realized I was buying the exact same set in different colors. I hope we can continue to see variety from here on out.
  3. Seriously? I can't believe that. Did they confirm that it's going to be only for three years? They only just brought it back!
  4. I hope we see more or less the same characters each year but with a few new heroes thrown in every once in a while. But I think they're free to have as many villains as possible. The only thing that would bother me is if they released new version of the current six masters that ultimately makes every previous iteration obsolete. Like maybe a permanent upgrade or something in the same vein as the Nuva or Mahri evolutions.
  5. I don't remember much of what happened towards the end of Gen 1, but if I'm not wrong, were they planning on making sequels to The Legend Reborn involving dinosaurs? I remember Greg Farshtey saying something about that. Does anyone have more details about what Lego's plans were before the cancellation? It seemed like they were going to extend the Glatorian saga much longer before abruptly ending it.
  6. It's almost the next year, so has anyone managed to find the new sets in any store yet? If not, when do you think will be the earliest we'll find them?
  7. The Legend Reborn, honestly, was too cheesy. The first three had more fluid animation and better storylines. Not that I didn't enjoy the 2009 movie, but it could've been better.
  8. During Gen 1, did you get more excited about winter or summer sets? For me, I remember finding early images of winter sets and getting really excited about receiving them for Christmas. The winter releases always introduced a new theme for the year, which was much more exciting. But summer still had quite a lot of hype. Are you guys as excited to relive these moments for the new generation?
  9. Someone--I don't know who--bought me a Toa Lewa for my birthday party, and from that point on, I fell in love with the series.
  10. 2001: Lewa 2002: Cahdok and Gahdok 2003: Takanuva 2004: Nidhiki 2005: Vakama Hordika 2006: Vezon and Fenrakk 2007: Jaller Mahri 2008: Antroz 2009: Tuma 2010: Tahu Stars
  11. I've been reading a lot that they canceled Gen 1 mostly because the story was becoming too complicated. But is that really a problem? I sort of enjoyed there being so much depth to the story. It made the Bionicle world so much bigger. What did you guys think about it? Why or why not did you like it that way?
  12. Does this mean there's no more progression from Matoran to Toa to Turaga? Because I never really liked that.
  13. What is CCBS? I keep seeing it everywhere.
  14. I really liked Jaller and his Toa team. I hope to see them return. Also, anyone from the 2006-2008 arc would be awesome.
  15. When Bionicle ended--or rather, as it was ending--I began to lose interest in collecting figures, especially since I was entering high school and was embarrassed to have a collections of kids' toys on display. I went years without even thinking about collecting toys or even Bionicle for that matter. Honestly, I was a little satisfied with myself, feeling that I'd grown up and matured beyond toys. Now that they're bringing it back, I can't help myself from getting all obsessed over this fandom again with burning intentions to get all six of the new Toa. Do you guys feel the same way and are you a little torn between your feelings like I am? What are your thoughts?
  16. Would you guys like to see a Bionicle TV show? It seems like that's a common trend in popular Lego themes these days, as we've seen shows for Hero Factory, Legends of Chima, and Ninjago. Hopefully, they'll give Bionicle the same treatment.
  17. Can I ask, what's the earliest you guys have managed to find a Bionicle set in the past? When do you think is the earliest people will start finding the 2015 sets?
  18. Now that we have a complete picture of the Gen 1 progression, which year was your favorite in terms of sets and story? I still really enjoyed the underwater theme from 2007, especially the Barraki sets.
  19. I'm a little embarrassed if people come over and see the number of sets I have on display, but being a fan of it isn't something I'm afraid to admit.
  20. An alternative idea I had was if they were to release alternate versions of the characters to keep them in stock but not as upgrades or replacements to the previous sets. Instead, they can be other outfits or looks the characters can switch around from time to time. That way, it doesn't make the previous sets go obsolete.
  21. Do you guys think there will be Toa evolutions in the new reboot of Bionicle? How did you guys feel when you bought an entire team of Toa Mata in 2001, only for them to re-release the same characters a year later and then again in 2008? The same thing with the Inika and Mahri? Did it bother you in terms of money?
  22. Has the fact that 2015 will be a reboot and not a continuation changed your mind about getting back into Bionicle? For me, I'm a little hesitant about getting back into buying new sets now, knowing that it's a reboot. It's just strange having to start all over again.
  23. I don't know about the worst thing, but I can think of a few things. For example, if they were to make it a one-time thing and then end it for good. Or maybe if they were to reboot the entire storyline and make all previous lore null and void. I'd be pretty upset about those things.
  24. LOL, thanks. I was actually quite surprised no one had taken it yet.

  25. This is so cool! Now I REALLY can't wait for the new movie! Thanks for the info, Greg!
