    Extra Tooth?!

Yo I can top this. When I was nine or so, I lost my two bottom front teeth, kay? So guess what happened when they grew back? If you guessed they grew back completely normal- Nope, you're wrong! 8D They grew back, yes, but two other teeth grew in right behind them (literally,) so there were four teeth where there should normally only be two. Ain't that sweet? I was a shark! 8D But then I had the two front ones removed so that the back ones could move forward and take their place and that didn't go so well and ended up completely messing up the way my teeth were aligned several years later which required me to get braces so as to correct that and yeah it sucked. ... (Typing as if I'm on caffeine is more fun than I thought. I should do it more often! )
  2. Nope. Still trying to figure out how to go about it. Koga is the one who I'm mainly concerned with.
  3. Indeed. Although, now that I think about it, I guess the original back-stabbing was my fault, since I had the three Rocket GLs turn on the TL team, but still.
  4. Bunda makes good points, too. Power playing companies who backtalk two of the most powerful beings in the RPG also make Parugi sadface. Especially because the perpetrators would be face down on the floor if they were speaking to Ford or Sleight in person.
  5. So yeah. A little late, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to say this publicly. The Silvermind arc in ROTR -- which, as many know, took up a ridiculous amount of time (over half of the RPG, actually) -- has finally ended, so if it was holding up your plans, fear no more -- you're free to move forward again. Let it also be known that I will no longer accept gigantic plots like those if whoever is proposing one is the only person who will be running them -- especially if you don't have a very good activity record. In other words, you need at least one person to help you drive it along if it's going to affect more than five people. Because that was ridiculously long and I stand by my claim that it almost killed the RPG from lack of interest quite a way in. :3 That is all.

    So Much Green...

My other character's a Toa of Sand who lives in Po-Wahi. Does she count as a Po? :3
  7. I removed a bunch of characters when their players left. I'll add him back on. Actually, as he doesn't seem to be on here, would you be able top find the profile in the RPG and post it in here? It makes navigation easier.
  8. Not yet-not until every last one is confirmed. For all we know it could very well BE a mix of fan names and official names that were legitimately leaked. But hey, you... use... *grimaces* Magneton in ROTR, so you might be the metaphorical pot calling the kettle black here. Neya Out. Oh hey my contract also seems to have a clause that states that I can smite my players for correcting and then spoofing me. Especially ones who disappeared at various points during their on-going megaplot. A lot. How 'bout that. 8D And I fail to see what is wrong with Magneton. I don't do competitive battling, whose rules hardly even apply in the RPG, and he's served me well every time I've used him in the games, so... yeah. Plus his name sounds far better than Ducklett. Or Deerling. :3
  9. Tell me some of these are jokes. Please. Seriously. I'm sure I'll get used to them eventually, but still, please. Hydreigon sounds cool. But that's the only one off the top of my head that I like. :3 Now, unfortunately, I've signed a bniding contract as the owner of RotR, so as long as the RPG is running... I..... endorse... *grimaces* Ducklett.
  10. Posting this here because I didn't when I first started playing as her: Username: Parugi. Name: Sonja Baron. Faction: Team Liberty. Hometown: Karakusa Town, Isshu. Age: 17. Appearance: Sonja stands at 5'8". She has slightly tanned skin, standard for those from Isshu, long brown hair, blue eyes and a beautiful face. She usually wears regular, blue jeans, a white hoodie and a black shirt underneath that, as well as white sneakers. She uses a white bag to carry her supplies in. Personality: At first glance, it might seem odd that someone like Sonja is a member of Team Liberty, or taking part in the war at all, for that matter. Kind, intelligent and friendly, she doesn't seem like the kind of person who would want to battle against anyone. However, she has a strong sense of justice and freedom, making her perfect for the team. Due to her relative unwillingness to fight, she does not get assigned to a large number of mission; however, she is more than willing to travel with other Team Liberty agents to Isshu so as to show them around, as well as provide pointers to keep them out of trouble with the Isshu government -- something that, unfortunately, she has had to do far more recently than she used to. Overall, Sonja's a very happy and kind individual, and is more intelligent than she appears. Background: Sonja was born in Isshu, and lived there until the age of fifteen. While there, news about the war in the other regions was scarce, as was any general information about the world in which the war was taking place. She spent most of her time exploring with her partner Pokémon Loki and Gaia; in doing so, she managed to learn whatever she could about the war from those individuals who had not been hushed. Eventually, she stowed away on a boat headed for Kanto, and joined Team Liberty as an Isshu guide, following several missions that did not go quite as well as Goldhawk and the others had hoped, mostly due to Sonja's age and gentle nature. She was assigned to the current Soil Colossus mission following Silvermind's second kidnapping, acting as a guide to the Isshu region, a job she was mroe than happy to accept; she was also given an extra Pokémon for protection, in the form of Ares. Pokémon: Druddigon (Ares,) Timburr (Loki,) Petilil (Gaia,) Chinchou (Poseidon.) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Species: Druddigon. Nickname: Ares. Trainer: Sonja Baron. Appearance: Virtually the same as a standard Druddigon. Personality: Ares is very rash, recklessly charging into battle and always eager to fight; Sonja is slightly unnerved by this, though she respects Goldhawk's decision to lend the Pokémon to her, and believes that he may have done such to help tame the Dragon Pokémon. Ares has a tendency to pay little attention to Sonja, due to having spent such little time on her team, though would still probably do whatever he could to save her if she were in trouble. Ability: Mold Breaker. Specialty: Ares is a strong physical attacker; he is also quite fast, giving him an extra edge in battle. Known Moves: Claw Sharpen, Leer, Bite, Dragon Claw, Fire Fang (Egg Move.) Species: Timburr. Nickname: Loki. Trainer: Sonja Baron. Appearance: Same as a regular Timburr. Personality: True to his nickname, Loki is quite impish, always ready to pull a prank at a moment's notice. He is also a bit of a show-off, striking dynamic poses for no particular reason and always attempting to add an extra flair to his attacks in battle. Usually, he has reason to do this, as he actually is quite skilled in battle, though some tend to get rather annoyed with this -- personally, Sonja finds it funny, though she doesn't usually show it. Loki is not very keen on the idea of evolving, considering himself too good looking for his evolutions, though he acknowledges the pros that would come out of evolution. Ability: Guts. Specialty: Loki is most skilled when it comes to physical attacks; however, his relative lack of speed takes a toll on his abilities in battle. Nevertheless, he is a tough opponent, and has a tendency to take his opponent out with him. Known Moves: Rock Throw, Bulk Up, Low Kick, Wake-Up Slap, Focus Energy. Species: Petilil. Nickname: Gaia. Trainer: Sonja Baron. Appearance: Gaia looks like a regular Petilil. Personality: Gaia is one of the most gentle Pokémon you will ever meet: She does not like to battle, and she does not get angered easily. She can usually be found outside of her Pokéball, carried by Sonja. Gaia is incredibly friendly towards everyone she comes across, even her trainer's enemies, though this has caused some trouble in the past due to suspicious folks... Ability: Chlorophyll. Specialty: Gaia is mainly a support Pokémon in battle, inflicting status problems on her opponents so that others can take them out. If the need arises, she will fight, though she prefers not to. Known Moves: Synthesis, Stun Spore, Mega Drain, Growth, Magical Leaf, Sleep Powder. Species: Chinchou. Nickname: Poseidon. Trainer: Sonja Baron. Appearance: Poseidon looks like a regular Chinchou in appearance. Personality: Poseidon is very quiet, never really speaking unless spoken to and never causing a scene for no reason. He isn't as fond of Sonja as she would like, but she understands why that is so, considering the seemingly random timing of Poseidon's capture. Luckily, he seems to be warming up to his new trainer rather quickly. Poseidon also seems to have a liking for shiny things. Ability: Volt Absorb. Specialty: Poseidon is best when it comes to nonphysical attacks, as well as Special Defense. He is not of very much use on land due to his nature as a fish, but in water he is incredibly strong, as well as surprisingly fast. Known Moves: Signal Beam, Bubblebeam, Thunder Wave, Discharge, Supersonic.

Awesomesauce. Now you don't have an excuse to not join ROTR! Just kidding. How far are you in it? Which starter did you pick?

    Second Place!

Score! Way to end the year on a high note! This should be fun -- another three months of running an RPG. Thanks for your support, everyone!
  15. Now you're getting into the rhythm, dawg!
  16. The poll ends tomorrow and Trapped in a Map is only one vote behind third place! You can help this fantastic entry by voting for it (#4) in the RPG Finals if you haven't already voted! And if you haven't, be sure to support either Day Run: The Garden (#2, currently in second place) Beat and Rhythm (#3) and/or Island of Pain (#6,) all of which are also superbly fantastic! In other words: All the gardeners be votin' fo' The Garden! All the musicians be votin' fo' B&R! All the artists be votin' fo' Mapped! All the... slavetradas? be votin' fo' Island of Pain!
  17. So I saw Tron: Legacy in 3D with my friend, his girlfriend and one of her friends yesterday. TBH the 3D didn't really seem to do anything (thoguh there were a couple of scenes that made me flinch, and the explosions were cool... ) It was still a really good movie, though (haters should note that I haven't actually seen Tron before. 8D) Oh and I also finished rebuilding that Igolo guy from Broken Unity. You know; the Dark Hunter. Frankly, I'm really surprised by what I came up with -- he's like, three inches taller than Xaeda (who, might I add, was my tallest MOC until yesterday,) so about... almost a foot, now that I think about it, and I made him more of a cyborg than I thought he would be. Needless to say, you'll be surprised when I post a picture... and when he pops up next in BU. Also vote for Day Run in RPGC#20 finals. Now. Seriously I'm in second place by two votes and am not worried about being kicked out of the top three, but just vote for me anyway to secure Day Run's position kthxbai.
  18. Clones are more adaptable. They aren't connected to a central system and so won't be shut down if said system is destroyed by some kid in a yellow submarineplane. Clones have cooler armor. Certain mass-clonage is done via a sample of an awesome bounty hunter's DNA, and therefore those clones are infinitely cooler. Clones all the way. B) (though velociraptors would own either of them any day.)
  19. Still disgusting. I support Sumiki's reaction. Also try having eight siblings, two almost divorced parents and three brother-in-laws in the same house... Confusing and disruptive as a polar bear in a desert...

Did you check the closest baseball field?
  23. That does seem to be what people think... :3 Also I notice that you haven't had anything to say about the BU update...
  24. Because people seem to be confused about my RPG entry, I want to clear up a quick couple of things. The tournament won't pull in everyone, nor am I making everyone enter it. It is stated two or three times in the submission that participation in the Day Run is optional. It is not the main focus this time around -- as players of Night Ride and ROTR should note, the fact that I am telling you this straight up should mean something. Yes, it's a big part, but it's not the be all, end all of the RPG -- the Ring, the KNPD and the Civilians are going to play just as large, if not a bigger role than the Day Run itself will. Heck, essentially the only role the tournament serves in being present is to establish a link between NR and DR (plus because I want to use my tournament games more (and no, that does not mean I don't have story plans for them -- I do; a couple of rather big ones, actually...)) That being clear: The Credits will not affect everyone. I'm anticipating that only about half of the player characters are participating in the tournament at all. That means that only about half of the player characters are going to be paying any amount of attention to the credits. You realize what that means straight off the bat, right? There is not a complicated number system in the RPG. The credits are a set of digital numbers to help keep track of places in the tournament -- nothing more. You don't use them as currency. You don't mug people for them. You don't exchange them for anything. They are not physical objects. They do not get you rewards. Need I say more? The fact of the matter is that the credits don't do anything. You don't need to worry about them, at least OOCly and especially if none of your characters are participating in the tournament. You also don't need to keep track of them. I will be doing that; that is my job as the GM. Despite what you think, they won't affect game play in the slightest, aside from: Even thinking the opposite of the above, the Credits make sense ICly, to your characters. Have you ever participated in a tournament of any kind, or watched/played a sport, or played Pacman? Because the Credits here, through your character's point of view, are the equivalent of the points in a Halo tournament, or a baseball game, or in a game of Pacman. They may not necessarily mean anything from an outsider's view, but from the view of the one earning them, they are important. Your character's most likely going to be driven to gain more of these through Day Run events so as to win the tournament, same as you are driven to keep up that game of Pacman. With only a week left before voting, I hope that clears things up for people. :3
