So I'm trying to think up a good name for a character in a story, and I for some reason think of the German region "Bavaria." It seems like maybe a variation of that name would be fitting for the character, so I do a quick Google search for "Bavare," "Bavar," etc. Just some simple variations to test that I'm going into a safe naming territory. I find that both "Bavare" and "Bavar" are last names. At this point I make it a bit more exotic and search for "Bavahki," and what are my only search results?

What do you think the chances of that were?

Well, looks like Obama won. I supported McCain, but good for him anyways. I think either would be a step up from Bush.

I'm nonpartisan myself, and I feel a bit ashamed to have been aligned with the people in the crowd at McCain's concession speech. He had a very professional and gracious speech and he showed that he cared for America overall more than himself, and that was pretty nice. ...And then all the stupid people in the crowd start booing at Obama's name. A bit of an embarrassment, really. I think he and I feel the same about that.

Also, the music at the end of his speech was pretty epic. They should play that at the end of every concession speech. (They might already- I'll admit my memory of last election is a bit foggy.)

Anyways, I'll go over all my thoughts on the election tomorrow.

    That was so incredible.
This is more awesome than any 2001 video. Ever.
This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Mata Nui! And there were sound effects from 2001 in there, too! The sound of the wind was from Po- and Ko-Wahi in the old animations, along with the Toa Mata Promo CD! And did I hear the sounds of the Charred Forest at a couple moments?
And the music! That was so cool and dramatic! I hope they use this kind of music for 2009 instead of some promotional song! This was awe-inspiring and cinematic!

And we saw Kini Nui! A bit sad to see it destroyed, but still, it was for such an awesome purpose.
Strange to see it in such a barren area. I'm used to it being lush and jungley, especially in the Ghost animations...

But man, I am so happy about this. They pulled this off perfectly.
