I have a couple real ones (and a bunch of fakes) The ones I made are unsafe for small children. If you compare a rubber Xa to the WMKK you'll see that LEGO rounded off or removed the pointy ears, or horns or whatever they are. I never did. The real ones I have were not babied. They were handled and they have discolored much more than that mask has.

It's yours if you want it. I know the pits weren't clear in the first photos. I really don't know. The way it is now, I spend a LOT of time making the mold and they have been breaking after one or two uses. In theory, I can make multiples which would bring the price way down. I just got my temperature controller, so that will help. I do. That's next.

None of my black masks have that beautiful golden sheen. That must be the ultra rare part. Lime Rau?

Here's a gold one. I'm making progress.

So, I've been making some hard plastic krana. The one you see here is my 5th attempt and I like it well enough to send it out into the world. It's a little darker than it looks in these photos. That's a red head but it looks pale. I'll try getting pictures out in the sun. You can see that it's not perfect. Metallic plastic is accomplished with small flat shiny plates mixed into colored clear plastic. As the plastic flows the plates line up making the plastic shiny. If you look at the plates edge-on you see the color of the plastic instead of the plates. The plastic didn't flow right so there are places that are darker than others. It's an auction, run the way I used to: There's a secret maximum price. The first one there gets it. I expect that I'll be making more of these. Here's the link to the whole plastic Bionicle folder There are a bunch of pictures there. (I was going to make an animated GIF.) Here's a little video. It's sooo tiny. 500K I'll take cash, random krana, random wild kraata or ...? Anyone with GPKK or VMKK .. We should talk. Here it is with some different lighting. The top are with the camera's flash. The bottom ones outside with a cloudy grey sky.

Do you have a link to the photos of the prototype you recreated? What treads are those? I only ask because they look like a Tool-o tread that I searched for forever.

Bionicle sale! Buy! $$ goes to college!

Sure. I'll take the mask bag. $12. and the $4 bag with the gears. -
Should the card be that glossy? It looks like a photo of a card. Is the bag too big?

Your pictures are ery clear. It's just surprising that the aluminum is so easily worn away. A lesson to us all. I'm sorry if you took it as personal criticism. It wasn't.

That was the cheapest way. Probably "Parcel". As far as the TOK, put yourself in his place. He had four TOKs, so he probably got them cheap. You had the last kratta he needed. I'e been there. It's worth whateer it took. Just ask him if he wants to trade back and you'll see. Regarding the VMKK CA , that's the most wear I'e seen on one of those.

I melted a 2 x 3 brick in the oven then clamped it between the two halves of a mold. I'm waiting for my temperature controller to show up, then I'll try injecting.

17 pounds for a TOK

I do have them but...If there aren't any available in the world, the going price is too low. 50 euros isn't enough to get others to offer theirs, who am I to disagree.

Larger Pic Gigantic Pic Two hard plastic krana. The red one was made from a LEGO brick. The clear was made from broken eyeglasses. There's another, sparkly-clear made from a CD. The red was my third attempt, the clear was the fourth.

Yes. I was the one who tracked down the distributor who had been sitting on them. Piraka too. One day at LegoLand they had a pile of them in front of the Big Store weeks before the official release. All the containers had been opened. At the time I thought they had done some test- play for market research. Years later I wondered if they might have all been prototypes.

No problem. I'm in no hurry.

There are people in the world rho have more money than we. To them $100 is nothing. To drop an extra $15 on a Christmas present isn't even that hard for me to imagine. When I sold the first Vahi, the buyer added in an extra $15 to say thanks.

Yes. $80 would convince me. Shipping included if you're in the US.
