  1. The LEGO Minifigures website has now been updated with the latest batch of minifigures, the Simpsons. As usual, there are bios and there is also a small section advertising the new Simpsons House set. Even if you are no Simpsons fan, these have a lot of highly interesting pieces, mainly printed torsos and pants, so you may consider getting a few of these. I just wonder when the regular minifigures series will continue, with the TLM and now Simpsons special series interrupting the streak. View the full article
  2. Over at LEGO Ideas, Time Courtney recently made a new blog post with some additional details about the transition from LEGO Cuusoo to LEGO Ideas. He starts out with some crazy stats about the amount of information that was moved from the old servers to the new and then goes on to answer some common questions that have been asked since the transition took place. If you're interested in the platform (and you should be, it's got so much potential!), you should give it a read. View the full article
  3. LEGO Cuusoo recently became LEGO Ideas. If you have any questions you'd like to ask about the program, head over to me blog entry and post them there. 4. If you're in the Boston area (and by that I mean within driving distance of Manchester, New Hampshire), you should come by BrickFair New England this weekend! On Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th, from 11AM to 4PM, come by the Radisson Hotel Manchester in Manchester, NH for an awesome LEGO expo. BZPower will be there with a big Bionicle and constraction display, and there will be lots of other great MOCs to see and vendors to buy from. Admission is $9 and is well worth it. If you come by, make sure you sign the BZPower guestbook - hope to see you there! View the full article
  5. Christian Faber has been updating his blog recently with some interesting teases about his next project. First he posted a teaser poster indicating the project name is 'Rebel Nature.' Then there was Escape RIG21, a teaser for the upcoming app. Finally, we got the Rebel Nature story manifest hinting at what the project is about. It all seems very interesting, and I can't wait to find out more! View the full article
  6. Today we received an update on the 2014 LEGO Legends of Chima constraction sets, and there is good and bad news. The good news is that the sets are in fact coming out. The bad news is that there are no plans to release the sets in North America. While I know many of you won't be happy to hear that, BZPower is working with the LEGO Community Team to get as many of these sets as we can to use as contest prizes, giveaways, and more. Hopefully we're successful and there will be plenty of Chima Ultrabuilds to go around! View the full article
  7. Though the platform has been renamed to Ideas from Cuusoo, the team is still moving forward looking at projects that have received 10,000 votes of support before the switch. Today on the LEGO Ideas Blog, the team announced that the first Ideas review has begun. There are six projects being examined: the LEGO Bird Project, the Modular Apple Store, the BTTF - Jules Verne Train, Doctor Who, Big Bang Theory, and Doctor Who and Companions. The fanboy in me wants to see some ABS Timelord action, but seeing something that's not based on a license would be great too. Additionally, the team revealed that the results of the Winter 2014 Cuusoo review will be announced soon, so keep your fingers crossed for your favorite project from that batch! View the full article
