  1. The plot synopsis on the Disney Wiki says she must "prove herself a master wayfinder." I didn't realize that the term from Treespeak was Polynesian in origin. It's different enough that I don't suppose it will literally be BIONICLE: Disney Edition outright but it should be really interesting looking for parallels as more about the story comes out.
  2. That's what the phrasing implies for me too, but Greg has said that all he did was look over stuff that had already been written, so apparently that's not the case.
  3. LEGO also has plenty of Star Wars, Ninjago, Friends, Elves, Angry Birds, Super Heroes, Creator, etc etc sets coming out alongside the 2016 BIONICLE sets. If BIONICLE ought to be shown off at NYCC, then it follows that literally the entire 2016 wave of LEGO product should too. But of course that isn't going to happen, just like it didn't last year. In normal circumstances, sets are officially revealed when they are listed for sale on Amazon or Shop at Home or some other online shop. If you look at the tweets LEGO has sent out about NYCC, the aesthetics of what material can be seen matches up more with Nexo Knights than BIONICLE. And that makes sense, Nexo Knights is LEGO's big, important marketing push for next year. I'm not saying there won't be any BIONICLE at NYCC (there always could be), I'm just saying there's no reason to count on it.
  4. It should be noted that those three seem to be the BIONICLE veterans that were consulted as the new line was developed - it isn't meant to imply that they were the original team creating BIONICLE. I don't remember if Christoffer was on the original team, but Greg wasn't and several of the people that were aren't listed.
  5. The rumor goes that Steve Blum was the voice of Kopaka in BIONICLE the Game.
  6. Yep. Though a lot of his movements are reused from episode 18. They even threw in a pillar for him to jump on to replace Tahu's back.
  7. This is an awful image, but its just a box of 'jungle element' that Ekimu used to forge masks before the cataclysm.

  9. So, folks! In the interest of making the episodes easier to watch together I've edited all of them into a single video, cleaning up the transitions so it all flows as a cohesive, smooth narrative. You can watch it right
  10. I'd actually prefer the narrator to stay on as Pohatu over Narmoto - in part because its kinda iffy as to whether Narmoto will even appear again anyway, and in part because I really like his Pohatu voice and it would take a lot for another VA to meet the bar it sets.
  11. That was years ago - times change. TV today is something LEGO is already closely familiar with, and experimenting more and more with all the time. Back then, it was something they had hardly even begun to touch.
  12. The pilot episodes and first two seasons are, yes.
  13. Mask of Light and Legends of Metru Nui recently expired their contracts on Netflix, but for the time being Web of Shadows and The Legend Reborn are still up.
  14. Rather interesting that this is the "journey to one" when the Prophecy of Heroes says the Toa must be "united, but not one."
  15. So is there a precedent for Netflix doing original movies? because it's possible that that's what it is, too. Trying not to set my hopes too high, you know.
  16. I think your biggest problem will be finding someone interested in buying it. It's an unusual item, but with the comic readily availible online and most people having moved on from collecting old BIONICLE merchandise, I wouldn't say it's too valuable. Just throwing out a guess, if you found someone who was interested they might be willing to pay $5 - $10.
  17. Yeah, the European copy got a different release so that's probably what you have. It's definitely rarer.
  18. He's looking for the hammer, but nothing in the book indicates he will pull out the shield as well, or that he will shoot from the hammer - which is what Votuko is wondering about.
  19. The only thing they said at ComicCon is that they would be doing 'a lot.' It's definitely possible something changed, but 9 per half year + intro seems pretty even to me.
  20. Someone else pointed out this easter egg:
  21. It's actually 19 episodes that were produced. So 18 in the main series (9 for each half year) plus The Legend.
  22. I'm really excited to see what new media they experiment with for telling the BIONICLE story (if they choose to try some new things at all, of course).
