  1. I actually didn't back anything up, but it looks like everything is pretty much in order. Thanks again, Vox. Hm...I suppose I should follow my own advice and keep using Phantom until more people catch up with my other fighters. I'll purchase Black Phantom a +3 toughness trainer and enter him in the tournament.
  2. I'd like to buy Adaptive Armor and a +1 toughness trainer for Electro.
  3. @Zakaro Ouch, I feel your pain. The worst is when you're in a place with wifi and login page supersedes your post. Breez 2.0 (6-E) vs. Electro Spectrum (6-F)
  4. Hm...it looks like the transformations actually happen in battle, so it seems that you were right that these are merely form changes under a new name. Of course, now I'm curious whether these transformations use the same held item or not...I suppose it would be somewhat of a limiting factor if you could only have one Pokemon holding the "Mega Stone" at a time. Not like that stops people from duplicating items in the metagame, but I think it would be a nice touch to make these forms more difficult to achieve than regular Pokemon.
  5. Huh, I notice that there are a lot of female champions this month. Well, let's get to it. *cracks knuckles* Hahli Hordika (6-A) vs. Electro Spectrum (6-F) Kiina (6-B) vs. Electro Spectrum (6-F) Zakaro, Flaredrick, I assume you're accepting champion matches?
  6. I'm kind of curious what Gamefreak's thought process is behind this...boosting Blaziken is an especially odd move. I would think that they would want to keep all the "starter" families equal. Of course, there is the possibility that they're extending this to the entire roster, which can only lead to hilarity. Mega Dunsparce, anyone?
  7. I'd like the Repellers as my free item. For the stat trainers, I'd like to give the +1 toughness and mind trainers to Electro, applying the bonus point to mind. That leaves Gali with the strength and agility trainers, which become +2s due to the Hordika boost.
  8. I'd like to register Electro for this tournament.
  9. I have some friends who are into Adventure Time, but it's a tad surreal for my tastes. This probably sounds strange coming from a fan of MLP, but I like my shows with a touch of realism.
  10. Alloy, Bomonga, Krakua, Takadox, Nocturne, Zaria, Xplode, Splitface, and XT4.
  11. Hm...do you think burnout might become a problem if you allow triple sponsorship? I know I have a hard enough time as it is managing Electro and Gali, and I'm concerned a bunch of people will jump on the remaining fighters then their interest in those fighters will fizzle out, leaving us with a lot more "abandoned" fighters. Oh, and Vorox gets my vote.
  12. Yes. To be fair, I'm sure any attempt of mine to pronounce Japanese words would be equally ridiculous. Huh, that does sound familiar. I wonder why no one has tried doing that before.
  13. Well, one could make the argument that occupying an item slot while having no other functions is justification enough, especially if your opponents predict that you will bring it and leave their staves at home. It also has the downside of preventing the user himself from using staves. That said, it is cheaper than many of the things it is meant to counter, particularly the Staff of Silence and elemental staves.*sees Flare' s stats*(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻No! I mastu be zeh fastas! Plassu faivu agility turaina!
  14. @Wraith It is a strategy that Canis introduced around the time of the third tournament (or was it the second?). The basic premise is that light-users can use their element to sense light around them, essentially allowing them to "see" while blinded. Like most elemental abilities this has to be consciously activated (or in this case, explicitly mentioned in the strategy), which is probably the reason it did not kick in during Meta's match.@Meta Mind Huh, this is actually the first time I've seen someone try to contest a match. However, Pahrak's not likely to change the results after the fact, so it's probably best just to let this one go. Never mind, missed your last post. :)EDIT: On the subject of radar, I think I saw Vox do that with gravity once, so that strategy is probably fair game for most element-users.
  15. Vox and I have agreed to a match: Gali vs. Kopaka in the Swamp-Realm. I will be sponsoring for 2,000W, Vox will be sponsoring 3,000W. Strategy:
  16. A question: I noticed that a shield is present as part of the Golden Armor used by Tahu. Is that shield usable in-game? I'd like to buy a +2 toughness trainer for Gali. @Zakaro @Pulsate This might be a tad late, but welcome to the mentor program!
  17. Canis and I have agreed to a match: Gali vs. Millenium on Tansari VI, 1,000W each. Strategy:
  18. Good match, Zakaro. You definitely caught me off guard with the 2.0 limiter. I'll be rooting for you in the final. I'll buy Electro a +3 agility trainer and use his bonus point on that too. I'd also like to buy the Golden Armor as soon as it becomes available.
  19. Huh, two females...that's pretty rare (thanks Lego).
  20. *sees Golden Armor* Hehehe...ayahaha! MUAHAHAHA!!!
  21. I'll vote for Core Hunter and Black Phantom. A question: Can fighters who don't have an elemental affinity choose Shadow? Or would that defeat the purpose of the Shadow Leech?
  22. Huh, first time in a while that I've had an actual tournament match. Gali vs. Lava
