  1. Alrighty then: +2 strength, agility, and toughness for Gali, +2 mind for Electro (using Cosmic bonus).
  2. Alright, just a few questions: Can free trainers be applied to another fighter? I think I saw someone do that last time, but I just wanted to be sure it was still legal. If so, can I choose the +1s and split them up between fighters (since Gali obviously can't use mind trainers)? Would Gali get the Hordika bonus on those trainers? As for the free item, I'd like a Gravity Shield, please.
  3. That raises an interesting question: Who exactly does the RS consider "beings"? Unless there's a whole lot of rahi crammed into the RS, it would appear that it is only meant to revive members of sapient species. How it determines who is sapient or not is mystery, but to me it seems most likely that it was programmed to retrieve species that were created by Mata Nui. Considering that all rahi were created later by the Makuta, Mata Nui probably just gave the RS information on the sapient species he created himself and not the rahi created by the Makuta. Since Keetongu's species is technically a type of rahi, it's possible that the RS would not recognize them as sentient life and therefore not worth reviving.
  4. It's quite possible that the design was imprinted in the minds of all Av-Matoran, and Takua just happened to be the one who found the Mask of Light and "unlocked" the designs. This could also explain part of the rationale behind scattering the Av-Matoran, as the Ussanui would provide a means for the Toa of Light to track down the Makuta and kill them. I wonder if Takua's light-based ability actually did manifest as a Matoran, as there were plenty of instances where he came in contact with Toa. This could neatly tie up some plot elements that were never explained, such as the mental link between Takua and Gali.
  5. SonicBOOM and I have agreed to a match: Gali vs. Skrall in the Storm Sector, 1500W from me and 500W from him. Strategy: Confirming match with Wraith. Strategy:
  6. Shoot, really thought I had it that time. Good match, Wraith. @Shadowhawk Apparently Gali really hates tea, and her reaction to the taste briefly broke my control over her. *suddenly intense* A mistake I will not repeat again... *again overly cheerful* But don't worry, Corvus Industries has already agreed to cover all the damages! ....and the blood transfusion....and the organ donations.... *sigh* Electro had better win that prize money....
  7. Confirming with Pulsate: Gali vs. Flare in the City-Realm, 1,200W from me, 300W from Pulsate.Strategy: @Shadowhawk Is that so? I've found that Gali is rather subdued.*motions toward Electro and Gali drinking tea at a cafe*Waiter: "One lump or two?"Gali: "Skreee!" *pounces on the waiter*Electro: *facepalm*Er, let's just ignore that, shall we?
  8. A comedy about RPGs featuring Exo/Pahry's signature sarcasm? HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS SOONER? Some of my favorite parts so far:1. Nice comedic timing, plus plenty of gamer humor. 2. Yes, the big bad can hear you through the screen. Don't ask how.3. Good point about how dismembering characters gets downplayed in Lego. I remember being really disturbed the first time I saw the Piraka animations.4. Yandere Vhisola. That is all.5. I always did find it funny how the badguys always give the heroes tips, especially in the form of an oddly specific denial. "It's not like you could ever collect the artifacts to defeat me, hidden in key points of interest on the world map. Here, let me point them out to you. I'll just stay here and give you the time to find them before carrying out my evil plan...mwahaha?"6. The tutorial box is going to turn out to be the secret boss, isn't it?
  9. Lewa. I really liked how his optimism was portrayed as both a strength and a weakness, helping him get through some tough situations but also making him prone to take risks. Better yet, he learned from his mistakes and became a better character over time, making him more a more relatable character overall.
  10. I'm probably most like Gali, despite acting like Lewa most of the time. I sort of instinctively try to support and comfort the people around me, and always end up being the peacemaker in group settings. I also have the slight temper which Gali displayed in many of her earlier appearances, especially when dealing with headstrong people. ..yeah, kinda odd that I relate most to one of the few female characters, but there you go.
  11. Hm...well, I've always liked Air as an element, but I don't really have the personality to be a Le-Matoran. I would probably be a De-Matoran with the Mahri Nui body type and a powerless Komau.
  12. Hey, first time for everything, eh? Plus, I think that for simplicity sake that it'd just end up being thermal vision. Plus I dunno how a 'cold radar' would work. Doubtful that Ice-users could generate heat - using friction would melt the ice. Plus Fire-users can't control the climate - they can draw in the heat, sure, but that's it. Huh...so are you saying that Toa of Ice could absorb "coldness" to the point that the object is no longer cold, yet not so far as to generate heat?
  13. @Kapura I've already said that I have lost interest in this argument, so go ahead and say whatever you like. ^_^EDIT: Sorry, that was rather petty.
  14. Hehe, just realized that I was expecting a logical debate on the internet. Never mind, I'm sure the S&T guys hashed this out ages ago.Besides, it really comes down to whether Pahrak wants cold radar/cold adsorption in the game or not. So Pahrak, would you like to effectively grant all ice-users heat powers too?
  15. @Dual I'm curious which cases you are referring to, as for me no such instances come to mind.Something to consider is that cold and ice are fundamentally different things. Ice is the solid form of water. It's been established that Toa can absorb a limited amount of their element, even if it's physical matter, so absorbing ice makes sense. "Cold", however, is simply a term used to refer to an uncomfortable lack of heat. Absorbing cold is illogical, since it's neither energy nor matter, but just a human perception of the lack of heat. While the former may have been done in canon, I'd be surprised if Greg actually used the latter in the Bionicle story.
  16. Uh guys....the tournament date is at the top of the first post. There is no registration deadline otherwise. @Wraith Good match. Definitely need to come up with some alternative strategies for Gali. Kokonoe mode enabled: "You're quite fast. Not very powerful, though... Would you like me to fix you up a bit?" *starts muttering something about hydraulics*
  17. Confirming the match with Wraith. I will also be contributing 1000W. Spoiler: @Phantom Nope, Pahrak said he's accepting registrations up until the first day of the tournament, which will be June 3rd. @Wraith The odd part is that we don't really know whether biomechanical bodies give off electricity or not. I mean, usually machines that use electricity give off electromagnetic "noise", but the beings from the MU could just as easily run off a different form of energy. Then there's the whole deal with "elemental energy" and "toa power", not to mention the "light" and "dark" that are apperantly present in most beings...
  18. Well, since Canis won't be participating in the E bracket, I guess I'll enter Electro for the free trainers. Hopefully I can still make some good money through champion matches...Looks like the A and B brackets will be fairly active this tourney. Should be fun to watch.
  19. @Canis It really comes down to which thing you value more: Your sentimental attachment to Virus or the potential strategies you could use with Pridak. Both are pretty subjective, so I can't really give any advice about it.Is there a particular Kanohi you want to use?
  20. Yay! Thank you for the match, Dual. For future reference, almost all water has impurities. "Pure" water can only be made through distillation. Also, for game purposes conductivity seems to be based purely on the mind stats of the fighters involved. Stormer's mind is lower than Electro's, therefore the lightning hit through the shield (not to mention that the heat from lightning would melt ice anyway).+2 agility trainer for Gali, please.
  21. Pulsate and I have agreed to a tag match with Dual Matrix. The teams will be Flare and Electro vs. Onua and Stormer. We have agreed not to use items. Pulsate will be contributing 1000W, while I will be giving 500W.
  22. Flaredrick and I have agreed on a match: Gali Hordika vs. Tahu Nuva in the Charred Forest stage. I'm kinda broke, so I'll be contributing 350W while Flare provides 1000W. I can kind of imagine how this encounter would go: Tahu: Stop sister, this isn't like you! Gali: SCREEEEE! *lunges at Tahu* Strategy:
