Something just hit me. What if the mastermind is Takadox, but he's using his hypnosis on others to carry out the murders? It would certainly explain what happened with Lesovikk's sword and the whirlwind.

Well, I now have all of the new HF sets except for Breez and Thornraxx, who are still ridiculously hard to find. Out of curiosity, are any of the Breez/Thornraxx owners in the US? Because it seems like they're available in Europe, but nowhere to be found here...Anyway, Mesonak pretty much summed up my thoughts on all the new sets, which were coincidentally the same ones sans Joker. The villains especially are really amazing this season. Reapa and Phantom are easily my favorite baddies so far, except for maybe Witch Doctor, but that's not really a fair comparison.

I'm just not really clear on how Lanayru Desert became Castor Wilds. Everything else on the SS and MC maps match up pretty well, if Eldin Volcano is Mt. Crenel and Faron Woods become the Minish Woods. Maybe the desert is off-map, further to the west of MC's world.

Just got Furno and (two) Splitface in the mail. I like them both a lot more than I thought I would; after all the negativity surrounding Furno I wasn't all that optimistic, but he turned out to be pretty sweet. I personally don't mind the white as much as a lot of people, and he's not quite as cluttered as he looks in some pictures. Splitface really blew me away though. From most of the pictures(especially the CGI on his canister bag thing) I thought he seemed kind of bland and boring, but in real life the colors balance perfectly and that face is just so rad.I'm happy to answer any questions about designs/colors/whatever, since there don't seem to be a whole lot of Splitface-owners yet. I might try to take some pictures(better than the Surge ones, I promise), but that won't be 'til tomorrow at the earliest.

Anyone have Splitface yet? I'm really interested in seeing how the head piece(s) look.

HABIT

Why is everyone hating on the arms? Yeah it's unrealistic, but you know what else doesn't work in real life? Robots that fight crime, not to mention that they have human personalities and even genders. Come on, let them be creative.Personally, I love this set. The arms work for me, especially since the red spikes and even the guns kind of look like fins. The size is pretty impressive for one of the small sets too, though I guess it can't really be considered a small set anymore since it costs the same as the Piraka did, back in the day.All he needs is a frickin' laser beam attached to his frickin' head! Sorry, it was right there, couldn't resist.

The threat of the Witch Doctor may be over, but he wasn't the only villain who liked the idea of a jungle lair. Ethan Torch, a ruthless turncoat hero, has avoided capture once again and fled to the planet Quatros. Joseph Shadow, his former teammate, has been sent to thwart the traitorous fiend before he revives Witch Doctor's plot to control the planet's Quaza supply.Made these guys a couple months ago to go along with the Savage Planet storyline. They're not really custom at all, the main idea was to experiment with HF's system and make a simple aesthetic look cool. Hopefully that worked out despite their basic design.Joseph ShadowShadow has been fitted with powerful claws and thick, sludge-resistant boots to traverse the treacherous jungle floor. Having nearly been killed by his former colleague some months before, he has abandoned any hope of converting Torch back to the Hero Factory's cause and is focused solely on getting him behind bars.Ethan TorchAs it turns out, Shadow isn't the only one with an upgrade. Torch has adapted to his new environment seamlessly, now equipped with venomous spines, mighty talons, and a toxic gas blaster. He has already resumed Witch Doctor's villainous operations, using leftover Quaza to take control of the planet's most vicious beasts. He has no intention of returning to the Hero Factory, much less as a prisoner, so he'll be pulling out all the stops to eliminate Shadow.Gallery - Might not be public yet. The shoulder armor doesn't get in the way of posing as much as I thought it would, and I very much like the new torso piece. Evo was my favorite a year ago, and it looks like he might be this time around too. He's just such a freakin' BOSS with that cannon arm. I ordered him yesterday...

Vision.

Wait, from the Toys R Us website, or did you find him in a store?Anyway, now I want Reapa even more. He's been one of my favorites since the very first pictures, and he still stands out with his unique design and that awesome face, which is so full of character I feel like I could have a conversation with it. Which would probably end in tears, because the character in question is apparently not a very friendly one.

You'll actually have to make use of that mechanic a few times later in the game, just with a different object.

Origami.

Once you get the whip(which is fairly soon, actually), you'll be able to snag Monster Horns from Bokoblins. I think I got lucky in my playthrough and managed to get a lot of them from chests, but of course it will be different for everyone, so you probably don't want to rely on those alone.Edit: Dangit, ninja'd.

It'll probably be a similar material to the Ben 10 claws seen on Waspix and Scorpio.

Love all the gears and the turbine-shoulders. This would have been perfect for a Marendar Contest!

Any chance you might post instructions? I'd love to build this thing for myself, but it's kind of hard to see how the torso and head are made. Torso is genius, by the way.

I just finished the last dungeon and I'm about to head into the final battle. Hope it's as epic as I think it's gonna be.
