    That, and I think it means that the Giants don't have much of a chance. Only reason they might is that they have home-field advantage (thanks in a large part to Marlon Byrd and Brian McCann), but even that depends on how the Rangers perform without a DH.

     

    We'll see. Let's just watch and see how it rolls out.

    Of course, outside of sports teams, I don't give a care about Chicago. :P

     

    And yes, Nuju. I didn't expect that the Phillies would go cold right then. And it's not like the Giants' pitching shut them down either. They had plenty of opportunities, but kept blowing them, strikeout by strikeout.

     

    But my prediction was based on how Philly had performed previously. They were a huge disappointment in the NLCS, and so from the games I saw in the NLCS, I'd say that the end of result of the NLCS was not a Giants win, but a Phillies loss, you understand what I'm saying?

     

    Anyhow, I'll put up a congratulatory entry in the BaseBlog too, before giving my World Series prediction.

     

    I get you. But that doesn't change that we ended up winning. XD

    Well, as a San Francisco fan, that's your job. Just remember, the Cubs in 2003 were five outs away from winning the NLCS in game 6, and then came a eight run inning. Chicago never recovered, and they've still never been to the World Series since 1945. So just don't get your hopes up too high, especially if your team is leading 2-0 in the eighth. Because by the end of the inning, you could be losing 8-2.

    Why not? It's a good way to get yourself to write. There's a young writer's program with a lower word count if 50K doesn't suit you.

    I'm a big boy! I'm a big boy! I don't want the Junior Patty Crabby younger option. I just hope I can get myself together enough to do it, and am not too busy, what with various time-consuming night activities such as midnight premieres, tech week of a play, performances of said play, homework, etc. :/

    I also dislike Manny, he's conceited... and he was a Red Sock. But unlike someone here, I evidently judge my Baseball players on talent, not haircut. :lol: Thus Lincecum, one of my team's best, is awesome to me.

     

    And clean cut? Then why support the Phillies, with their wild-man Werth?

    I feel a bit of shame for not knowing Grokk...well, waiting for his appearance in the sequel then ^^

    Yes. Indeed it was - but bear in mind that the character of Grokk supersedes the world of the BZPRPG. The Rei thing is just one path his character has and could have taken - this SS was written independently of events in-RPG.
