I was very content with my old (well, current) computer, until one unhappy day maybe three-four months ago, about a billion viruses poured onto it from the interwebs. Now, said viruses interfere with my google searches, gmail, and other internet services, interfere with my shutting down the computer by non-manual means, and cause almost-incessant and literally-screaming pop-ups that tell me that my computer is virus-infected, at which point I will stand up and scream back, "I ALREADY KNOW!!!"

BZPRPG stuff is all a go. I'm pumped. :3 On the Uhuraz subject, I'm still negotiating with staff. I'll let you know my status on the Uhuraz character as it develops - I'm doing my best to keep him as similar as possible to his original version for next year. Mercs team, we'll see how stuff develops, because it really depends on the demand for mercenary labor; with fewer corporations/big governments, the only real need will probably lie in Xa-Koro or against it.

On a related note, be on AIM more. So we can plan stuff.

Took me a second to realize this was about baseball and not... something else...

Everything on the BaseBlog is about baseball.

Oddly, I actually assumed it was Baseball-related from the start. Wonder why, in a blog called "Baseblog." But it woulda been more interesting if it'd been "something else." That kind of stuff is fun.

I agree with both of you - however, I feel like to enhance the overall experience, I should try to abstain from any kind of knowledge, if possible.

I'll be wary. Maybe not wary enough.

I personally think it looks too sausage-shaped. Maybe give it a more distinctive build than just the thin rocket it is now - some fins here, bridges there, would make it feel more detailed IMO.

The second one down is Pokolo. Not sure what his current display name is though.

I'll call it Pokolo - If that's the name they're most known by, that's the one I'm looking for.

I think it's just AT&T Park that made the Rangers blow things so much in games 1 and 2. Us Giants fans can be rather intimidating and are good at messing with the minds of other teams.

Valid. But I disagree that the World Series is usually the best baseball there is. What with the inter-league play, it's inevitable that one or both teams will get screwed up somehow - the factors of hitting pitchers/dh's, the far-more-frequent order/position changes of the NL vs the AL, etc. aren't things that teams not in that league are used to or good at playing.

I think that league championships are generally better playing and more exciting than the World Series - the kind of baseball played by the two different leagues is just kinda funky when put up against that of the other, IMO.

7 runs in one inning, and with 2 outs to boot - that kind of thing isn't supposed to happen on the grandest sports stage in the world. It's not even a fair fight.

But it's a GOOD thing.

If you can only pitch one strike in twelve pitches, you're honestly not all that good.

 

Granted, I cut him some slack for pitching in the World Series, one of the grandest sports stages in the world, but still - no one could seem to get a strike.

I disagree, but hey, to each his own. You just gotta let go, and get into it - sports are, surprisingly, fun to watch. Especially Baseball.
