But in seriousness, the many-merc thing makes sense. Rogues, renegades, the like are popular and diverse characters, also very well-suited to the world LK crafted with GitS. Therefore it's understandable for so many to have freshly made them, or entered old ones.

Personally, I liked all the entries - you guys had great ideas, IMO.

But the ones I liked the most were those who hadn't already undergone a major character development - I think it's more interesting if one leaves a character not fully formed at the beginning; if the author gives some tools and traits that will be used to morph the charrie into something that they weren't before over the course of the story, then their progress will be a lot more enjoyable. But geez, we sure got a lot of mercs/shady characters... almost makes me wish I'd entered a good guy. XD

The last episode should have made no sense to you, unless you watched the previous 6 seasons. XD But man oh man, it's worth it.

Sorry, but I don't predict any World Series title for the Giants. I'm not even sure if they'll make it past Atlanta, although I figure that they will, while even if they do, the Phillies would most likely finish them off easily in the NLCS.

 

And should the Reds somehow make it past the Phils, you'd better watch out, because any team that can beat them in a best of five can probably handle the Giants in a best of seven--but I doubt that the Reds are going to make it that far, considering their record against winning clubs.

 

In the NLDS, I'd say San Fran in five, Phils in three, and then in the NLCS, Phils in five.

Way to be a downer. XD

Everyone celebrates the holiday of Spocktoberfest. Even if they don't know that they do.

I would try finding names/phrases/etc in other languages, it's cool because those can have lots of cool meanings (or inside jokes) and save you loads of time instead of glaring at your monitor going "Inu..inuka...gornalala..blaaah this is pointless."
