  1. IC: (Mons Shajs) The area around the tube-ship seemed clear, so it seemed to Shajs he would have to work to secure the docks, to keep the foreigners safe. He rowed his boat to the pier, and tied it off next to the nearest ladder. It was clear of the foreign vessel, so he saw it fit to climb up. Looking around, the Ga-Toa (With seemingly Matatus) were preparing to go on to the pier. Behind him, a crowd of Matoran and Toa had their necks craned in unison at them. Being a Corporal, he had a least a degree of authority over the Privates. He went on over quickly, and directed four of them to disperse the crowd, to sift them away from the area. And with peaceable means. After which, he came back to the pier, near the ramp the Dasaka were going to exit off. He supposed it would be cordial of him to provide escort. He waited to salute.
  2. Not the best analogy. Both sides are fairly equal, military wise. Any comparisons of war between the two, however, is up to speculation.
  3. Well, I guess someone will have to bunny...
  4. A conspiracy by the Canadian Crown to retake New England. The Ocean.
  5. Or else Kotu. Who controls her, anyways?
  6. Speaking of Ga-Koro, where's Hahli? I'd expected the Akiri make an appearance by now...
  7. Work, save money, and take a gap year (Hopefully). Then find a college, get a scholarship(s), and work my way to graduation. I don't really know what I'd like to major in, though I'm leaning towards a major in film. I'll keep writing as a hobby, and if I can publish what I write, I'll publish. And there's also the possibility of the military, which is looking like a decent prospect.
  8. A conspiracy to brainwash 10-olds into buying LEGO stocks. Parakeets.
  9. That has got to be one of the most stupid conspiracy theories I've heard. And I'm fond of reading about them.
  10. IC: (Larikon Torchbearer) "Deceitful they are," Larikon said. "I do not trust Echelon, nor do I trust the Makuta worshippers, Sir Jaaku. But you have to remember, this is an alliance of three. The Piraka care not for us, nor do they care for Ak'rei'an. But they control the Vault. They control the filth and decadence Makuta gathered within it, a vast supply of that unholy liquid, and a small army of Rahkshi. If Echelon betrays us, he will incur the suspicion and probable betrayal of our Skakdi allies. The Piraka could be warlords, if they were coherent enough to act as a single group. If they see us wiped off the face of the earth, the more intelligent of them will question if they are to be next. That, I believe, could unite them, if not for a period. Unite them in destroying the Makuta servants." He nibbled upon a hard-cracker. "This is an unlikely alliance, and a fragile alliance. One ill move, from any side, and it will crash to the ground. It is built upon greed, suspicion, and supposed benefit for each side. I intend to reap the benefits of it, until we are powerful enough to move from it. Expand with converts, expand with plunder, expand possibly with land. And even if the Makuta servants do betray us after the city is taken, all is not lost. Sir Jorruk, Cardinal Dryken, and Sir Ryjak are away, hidden in the mountains as we speak. They carry with them supplies and weapons, tomes and histories. And most importantly, The Purple Lightstone. If Ardron comes to find us destroyed, than he shall return to Sir Jorruk, and the Steward shall reestablish our order far from prying eyes. Trust me once, Sir Knight."
  11. It's always happened. And it will unfortunately always happen.
  12. IC: (Mons Shajs) As the Fe-Toa went away, one of the Toa on the tube-ship turned to him, and talked. She spoke in Matoran, clearly, but in an accent Shajs hadn't heard at all. He assumed she was the Captain of the vessel, by her armor and seemingly highly-respected status among her crew. He felt strange that he was the one being spoken to. "Cap'n Kotu is'n tha village, m'am. She's in charga' tha Marines. But tha ruler 'o tha city is Akiri Hahli, I'a thinka she'll be'a comin' anytoim now," he said in a respectful, slightly surprised tone.
  13. It will certainly be strange, to see the transition back to an active, more youthful forum. However, I'm looking forward to see activity increase, especially in the creative forums.
  14. Considering that this is the only LEGO board I'm active on, I haven't seen many Anti-BZP haters. I'll have to say I'm surprised at the claims of left-wing bias (I find this place refreshingly apolitical) and claims that BZP destroyed the line. BTW? Could someone describe the theory? How could BZP supposedly kill off BIONICLE?
  15. Having a soft spot for history, the paranormal and adventures, I've loved Indiana Jones for years. The Last Crusade is my favorite of them all, honestly. I think if they are to continue the series, Harrison Ford will have to be replaced in a James Bond-esque transition. The question is who will replace him...
  16. IC: (Shajs) "There a'be active 'n inactive Marines, sir," Shajs said politely. "Yer aparta tha latter, I'ma 'fraid ta say."
  17. IC: (Shajs) "Still'a, this isa official Marine business," Shajs said. "Ya ain't an official Marine. Come'a down."
  18. IC: (Shajs/The Bay) He had to help control the situation. Rowing out towards Angitu, barked out an order. "Oi. getta' down frum there. Now. Thisisa area cord'uned off by tha Ga-Koro Marines. If ya don't gita down, I'la take ya down!" The Skakdi meant business, in that regard. "Come inta tha boat, sir."
  19. Congrats, Hub. I'll admit that's one heckuva milestone. Glad a BZPRPGer reached it.
  20. IC: (Mons Shajs/Ga-Koro Docks) It was a fine lunch break, he thought. A nice shrimp platter, some cooled Bula berries and a glass of wine. It was the Dockman's Reprieve, a small family joint on the edge of the Koro, and one of his favorite spots. He came here, on this particular day of the week, most every week. Here, Shajs was known by name, and treated well by the Skakdi couple who owned the place. He was pulling out a cigar, and asking for another glass in Skakdi to the waitress when the Ga-Matoran came in. She was another regular, a fisherwoman, she had a look on her face that told him of shock and wonder. She came to him, and told him in a peculiar tone "Shajs-erm, Corporal, there's a boat-no-tube boat thing- it's outside, people are coming OUT OF IT!" Wait, what? He popped a mint into his mouth, and stood up. "Don'ta worr'a, dearie, I'la investagate tha boat yer talkin' 'bout. Sit'a down, I'la handla it." The Marine grabbed his belt, mortuary sword, pistol and all, and strapped it on. He didn't know what kind of boat the Matoran was talking about, but he had a duty to investigate it. Putting a couple of widgets down as pay, he left, feeling the eyes of the patrons following him. Outside there was commotion unlike any he'd seen in ages. Sailors, Marines, shopkeepers. Everyone and their mothers were going to see. With a great bark, he ordered a rushing crowd to stay back. As karz, it might be a bloody Tarakava. Oh, and the lily-pads might not be able to handle a gigantic crowd... A Tarakava it wasn't. It was a crystal ship, a tube-boat-thing, as the Matoran had described to him. And it had people on it, what appeared from a slight distance to be Ga-Toa, in shiny armor. He didn't recognize the ship, didn't recognize the crew. Something seemed off. He saw there were a lot of these Ga-Toa, and that Treize didn't have much in the way of back-up, in her little rowboat. Three, it seemed, compared to around a dozen visible strangers. So driven partially by curiosity, and partially by concern for the safety of the Captain, he went to the Fortune. Flashing his badge to the Marine stationed to guard the vessel, he lowered another rowboat, and climbed in. It was similar to the ships he once fished in, so he hadn't any problem piloting it. As the Captain was meeting with Hanako, he began to paddle out, around to the area where Darien and Girah were. He kept on going, ever so faster.
  21. It's all here, Cap'n. But in regards to the Civil War, I do agree it needs to heat up. For the sake of fun.
  22. Noob here. Can one still join even after the 1st?
  23. OOC: Permission gained to wrap the riots up... IC: (Dastana Shivada/Sado Streets) Order had been restored to the city. With her guardswomen around her, Shivada looked upon the scene of the clashes. Three guardswomen and several Hogo had perished bravely against the revolutionaries. The bodies of Dastana sympathizers were far more numerous. They were her clanswomen, she knew, but the fact troubled her little now. Whereas the Umbralines akin to the assassins of Yomiken numbered little, and were suppressed, it seemed treachery and disharmonious thought had infiltrated her clan. Her fellow Dastana, it became clear, had grown fond of encouraging each other to go against the natural order, and against the caste system that held society together. If they continued, the isles would plunge into a era of chaos and blood unseen since the days before Empire. She knew she had reasonable clanswomen, but it pained her that they had been overruled. The Taajar they had hired began to clear the bodies of the rioters from the streets, and began to scrub the blood off the roads. Carts, cloaked in white cloth, went away from the scene. Occasionally, Dashi crossed the roads in a hurried pace, to escape the stain upon the gleaming city. It would return to normalcy, she thought, in a week or so. New traders would come in, and it would seem exactly as it was before. If she knew anything of her Saihoko kin, it was that they always bounded back when pushed to the ground. "Come, let the Taajar finish their work," she said. "Return to the palace, and report upon the actions of today."
