  1. 'Cause I had no idea there was something big happening there. And I guess you hated DC since BF06, which wasn't even in DC. (Or at least the traffic)
  2. Hey! I made instrucions for my Piraka Fusion MOC. Folder Here I would specifically suggest: The Hand and The Staff And since it seems that the Talkback Topic isn't properly linked at the time, go ahead and use this to give any comments you might have until staff does something about the link. (But, staff, please do fix it, and don't rely on this) (hey, Omi, how about you start one?) I would also like this to be the place for discussion for my MOC in general. (The News Article) Thanx, and enjoy! Answers/comments: It'd be cool if it was a set, along with Krakua. Major sets used were Keetongu, and Thok (althought Vezok might work) You'll also need some keetorange joints, hordika armor, and 6 hordika knecks. The piece pointed to for the tail is a technic watch piece. (I wanted to use it in a MOC) I think everything else is pretty much can be seen from pix and is basic enough I don't need to expand on it. On note of the tail-joint-breaking problem: I have used this style of connecting before and have only had one or two joints break, and then they are still usable. Don't be too rough, and ease the rod in. (some people also don't like the tail, so of course you don't have to put it on, but then he may have trouble standing up) -CF
  3. So my history class did a secret santa for the past two weeks, and the person who had me was awesome! Aside from three whole candy bars for last week's small gift, this week I got the Exo-Force Grand Titan and Stealth Hunter! Well, I already had Stealth Hunter, so I started building Grand Titan in class! (Keep in mind I'm 16, and a Junior) It was cool for my LEGO fanness to be revealed to the whole class, as everyone there is just like, "wow, he's actually building it" But they were supportive, saying things like "He'll have that done it five minutes" and just shouting across the room "how's it going, Ben?" and I'd give a thumbs up and keep looking for the next piece. (It was a little hard, because I had a small building area, pieces in bags, and a slanted desk) Well, anyway, here is Grand Titan at home on my dresser (as seen in my Giant Zamor blog, check it out) I hope to exchange Stealth Hunter for Takeshi's next battle maching early next year. But I don't have a receit, so should I return it now or wait a month? (serously, I would like some advice) Other Secret Santa gifts (to others) were SpaceBalls and fancy Chocolate. -CF
  4. Might this event for debuing the outfit be Katsucon 13, taking place in Washington, DC February 16, 17, 18? Sounds cool, good luck on everything (And I'll see you at Katsucon)
  5. well, Omi, you're on staff, but you are a writer, so I guess that really helps. Mikerahk, be expecting a PM soon
  6. I need a volunteer. A couple perhaps, and someone that knows how and wants to send an email to BZPower news. And perhaps a non staff member, just so some regular members can get some credit. I can't tell you what it is all about, but I mentioned news and this is in my Lego category, so... WHO WANTS TO VOLUNTEER!?!?! -CF Thanx to all who volunteered! (Sorry, Arpy, but you jumped on the bandwagon a little too late, but thanx anyway) What I wanted was someone to report that I had uploaded Piraka Fusion instructions (because I thought if I did, the staff would want me to just make a topic) Well, what are you waiting for, Check it out here! -CF
  7. Yes, a very good way to rotate pix. I'm guessing this goes to the people who upload pix without rotating them. (which isn't me) Also, if the pic isn't saved, such as viewing it online, you can: right click the image click copy open paint ctrl+V or right click and paste then crtl+R for rotating I love keyboard shortcuts!
  8. Please don't judge Virginia and DC by these articles. Please! We're not all bad! Actually, I'm 16, not 12, so I guess thing will go even harsher for me once someone catches me bringing Bionicle stuff and Lego stuff to schoo. (recently I brought a Lego Ninja sword, and even brought my whole fusion piraka. Nothing happened! And my friend has brought mechs with cool guns, and nothing. *whew*brushes forehead*) this is crazy. Give the kids a chance!
  9. We is friends! Me and You is friends You smile, I smile... You hurt, I hurt... You cry, I cry... You jump of a Bridge I gonna miss your replies. -CF PS: I got this and the one below in emials. haha!

  11. So I built something (actually a while back) and no one has seen it unless you've been in my room lately. what is it? I'll post it soon, but for now I'll tell you its name: Sumorahk Enjoy! -CF
  12. wow! You could be the next George Lucas! this idea sounds really cool. Kinda like the Slizer. Is this a Bionicle-inspired thing, perhaps even their peices, or totally different? sounds really cool. KUTGW

    Weeeeird...

I do wish I could get some of that tape. Sounds great! (Oh, you have good points on why this is silly. I guess it's part of being human....)
  14. So I got this in my email today: There is a cool logo on the web site. Funny thing is I'm not an AFOL (I'm 16) I expect that Omi, KIE, Binky, Cajun, and any other AFOLs and anyone at Brickfest would have gotten this, too. Sounds pretty cool. Wish I could go. But I'll still be promoting it! Is anyone going? -CF
  15. Being a boy scout, I highly respect hot chocolate, and will have to try this new recipe soon. I also like tea. But I don't really drink stuff like coffee/tea regularly. But I do enjoy tea with lemon and honey. -CF
  16. So apparently today is Ninja Day! Do what ninjas do. Oh, let's also remember the Lego ninjas, and how cool their swords are. I have four in grey and 15 in black! (all from brickfest) HiiiiiYa! (thanx KIE!) -CF :I'd put a ninja emotiocon here, but I can't open the window to see it ther is one:
  17. Oh, that's not fun. Get him something he doesn't want/need and tell him it was his fault. Oh, yeah, flash drives are awesome! That deal sounds like a deal!
  18. May 3: Spiderman 3 July 7: Harry Potter book 7 July 13: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (movie) Other: Next year: Next Year of Bionicle, but seems to be here now !!! 19. I think Duct Tape is one of the best things in the world! Well who's with me!?!?!? I think I pretty much made my point. What is Duct Tape, you ask? *gasp* Duct Tape is the best tape to use for almost anything, or everything. It should be in every emergency survival kit, and I always bring it on campouts. It comes in a variety of colors, including camo. (maybe even glow in the dark) Tim and Jim, The Duct Tape guys, are totally awesome. I have their Page a Day desk calander, and am lovin' it! I would love people to comment and add to this conversation on Duct Tape. And now, from the Washington Post Magazine, 11/26/06, Joel Achenbach's Rough Draft "Please Fence Me In": Here are some more great quotes: Yeah, go Duct Tape! -CF
  20. Congrats to Arpy! In the Unofficial LEGO Builder's Guide, by Allen Bedford, (which you all should get), he says that a minifig is 6 feet tall in his world. *************** Thinking about it now, considering a Toa is about 7 and a half feet tall, that must be crazy if we ever had a person standing next to a minifig standing next to a toa. freaky. (And the titans are like giants!)
  21. Yeah, that Lego movie was great! And by float, I meant the stage they performed on. That was great. I agree with everyone who thinks it is great, funny, etc.
  22. Well, that drug sounds interesting, but I'd rather not take my chances on stuff like that... (Omi, be safe with that....)
  23. What is the average velocity... J/K Actually, with the Monty Python and the Holy Grail theme, did anyone see the Spamalot float in the Macy's Day parade? They did the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life." Very good. On the topic of Smamalot, anyone seen it? I haven't, but have heart the soundtrack, which is very funny. The play is supposed to be very funny, too. -CF
  24. Does this have any relation to the entry I made...? Actually, it does tie in to the comments about it being dangerous. I didn't realize teacher's banned it... Thanx for the tip. I only use it along with other sites, anyway. But it is fun for casual stuff. (Like the Lego part, Bionicle part, BZPower part...)
