I actually quite enjoy factoring heres a tip
Equation: -16t2+30t+4=0
Heres the trick: ac, so -16x4=-64
factor it out: (1,64) (2,32) (4,16) (8,8) find which one adds up to b but can multiply to ac, that leaves (2,32) because you can manipulate the 2 to become -2 and thus -2x32=-64 now write two thingies
-16t2+-2t+32t+4 4=c and the -2, and 32 get a variable.
add parenthesis:
(-16t2+-2)+(32t+4) factor those
pull the -2t out of the first one -2t(8t+1)+(32t+4)
pull 4 out of the second and you get -2t(8t+1)+4(8t+1)
Since the two equations match you can continue (8t+1)(-2t+4) and then you know the rest to solve
yeah this probably didn't do anything but oh well.
