Sweetie Belle is the cutest thing ever, forever.
  2. Day 85 So, after many hours of searching, I found some decent sheet music for U.N. Owen Was Her. (No I don't know why it's called that) I also finished up the second season of Adventure Time. The Lich is awesome. Oh, and everyone should go watch GameTrailers Zelda Timeline video. It's amazing.
  3. Nope, measuring the weight of an object hanging on a spring using Hooke's Law and Simple Harmonic Motion.
  4. Day 84 Ahh, todays Physics lab went much better then Chem lab yesterday. Our data had a perfect fit. A correlation of 1.00 doesn't happen often in 101 labs.
  5. Day 83 Man, it snowed today, and then completely melted within a few hours. I was really sad. Plus, Chem lab just wasn't working out today. We think the solution we were using was contaminated.
  6. Day 82 So I got back to school... AND THERE WAS SNOW ON THE GROUND! IT SNOWED WITHOUT ME. *commence flipping of tables* Anyways, my computer is completely out of space, and I didn't even put all my new games on it.
  7. Know what that means? Christmas themes. Also, braarhgl steam sales.

    Silly pendulum

I love Pendulums. Have you ever seen what happens with a bunch of pendulum metronomes on a freely moving table? It's pretty cool.

Oh man the A-Team montage was the greatest thing ever. I will now rest until I find A-Team/CMC art. Also, Sweetie Belle is still best pony ever. Especially golden.

    Jackson ≪ Griffiths

Interestingly enough, at the Physics conference I was just at, Henry Reich gave a very similar talk on how to explain Physics to non-Physicists.
  11. Day 81 Okay, all I have to do is make it through tomorrows Chem exam, and I'll be home free for Thanksgiving. We had another physics talk today, which was pretty sweet. Someone came in and talked about the Second law of Thermodynamics, and how it shows that the idea of time results from this law. Which is pretty mind-boggling. But yeah, this has definitely been the most stressful week of school so far. OH! And I signed up for classes. I'm takin Calc II, Physics II, Intro to Programming, Phys Ed, and a another Humanity. Three credits less than this semester! Granted, I haven't thrown in the extra credit for research, and the possible extra credit for cello lessons.
  12. Day 80 So, who's ready for a paper writing all-nighter?! Yeah, me neither. freakin' plato... In other news, we did a fun little trick in Physics lab today. Basically, you hold a bicycle wheel, and get it spinning pretty fast. Then you step on to a turntable of somesort, and turn the bicycle wheel. Due to the conservation of angular momentum, you can get spinning really fast, just by turning the wheel completely over. It's tons of fun.
  13. Day 79 I guess one side effect of barely getting on BZP anymore is missing lots of drama. Ooh, and I nabbed Darksiders II for 17 bucks. That'll be fun.
  14. Day 78 Yeah, I missed posting this yesterday. I was beat. Also, I had a mini panic attack on the airplane ride home. Not fun. In better news: PONIES!! Fluttershy suit is the funniest thing ever. I also made what is both the greatest and worst decision. I read through all of Woonastuck in one sitting. My word. The adorableness-ocity. It looks like I've got a super busy week leading up to Thanksgiving break. I can almost taste the turkey.
  15. Day 76 Well, the conference finished off today. We had some pretty awesome speakers. The Minute Physics guy gave a talk on communicating physics. And the lady who discovered pulsars debunked the 2012 armeggadon theory. I didn't get a chance to watch ponies today. Hopefully tomorrow!
  16. Day 75 Oh man you guys, (and gals), I just got back from downtown Disney. SOOO COOL! Mainly the hanging out with semi-new friends. That was the mainly cool part. The Physics talks today were pretty cool, we had a guy who was on the team that "discovered" the Higgs Boson come and speak, as well as an interesting speaker on Tomology, which is the study of recreating images from several projections. Anyways: PONIES TOMORROW!!!!! It'll probably be late night before I can watch it though.
  17. Day 74 First day of PhysCon!!! *woohoo* Today we had a bus tour of Kennedy Space Center, and we played in the coolest play area ever. Later, there was a speaker who talked about a few topics, mostly involving space travel. Seeing as he's been on five Hubble repair missions, he seemed pretty qualified. I can't wait for tomorrow, it's really cool being surrounded by all these physics students.
  18. Day 73 I don't know if I've ever said before how much I hate flying. It scares the bajeezus out of me. It doesn't help when we bank like crazy on take off. So anyways, against all odds, I made it to Florida. I'm bushed.
  19. Day 72 Ugh, long day today. We were doing a group chem presentation, and it went over by almost an hour. At least I really like the people in my chem group, they're all really fun. Anyways, I leave for Florida tomorrow at 2:30, so I better get some sleep!
  20. Day 71 Ugh, that freakin' laser is a pain in the neck! We seem to have sprung a leak in the main cavity of the laser, so that'll take about a week to fix up. In other news, man I'm so excited for ponies. 'S gonna be awesome.
  21. Day 70 Oh Daylight Savings, I love you so. I finally was able to install some new games, namely AC: Brotherhood, Bioshock 1 & 2, and Crysis. So I'll probably play those when I have some time. wut i leave for florida in three days i'm not ready for that at all
  22. Day 69 Huh, looks like I forgot yesterday's. Oh well, nothing interesting happend yesterday. Today however, I had to get up early, and go rake yards as a fundraiser. It was freezing. Later, I went on a hayride with the Physics Club. That was pretty fun, we sang Christmas Carols, and roasted hotdogs. Good times were had by all.
  23. Day 67 Ugh, college dorms are not very forgiving towards headaches. *owowowowow* Anyways, I'm going to Florida in a week! The "Quadrennial Physics Congress" is taking place down there, and most of our Physics department is flying down next Monday. It's gonna be awesome.
  24. Day 66 So, all day today, someone was in a full Tigger costume. He pogo-sticked to every single class. It was awesome I also successfully upgraded from the 32 to the 64 bit Windows 7, and added four more gigs of RAM to my MacBook. Good day.
  25. Day 65 Well, Sandy pretty much passed us by. We had some wind and rain, but it was barely out of the ordinary. Also, I built a Fibonacci Sequence generator in Python, it also checked to see if it was a prime or not. Anyways, I'm just gonna keep ignoring this whole episode VII business.
