I typically prefer hardback, because they last longer, look nicer, and tend to stack better in my bookshelf. I made a special exception with the Song of Ice and Fire series, solely because the paperback versions fit perfectly into my coat pocket, so I could carry it that way. Obviously though, I still bought A Dance With Dragons hardback. I couldn't wait on that.

So I saw EQG, and thought it was...alright.It was about as good as a mediocre episode.The songs weren't really my thing.We did get to see Trixie and a little end credits Derpy, so that was pretty awesome.I hope they flesh out Flash Sentry in an upcoming season, I kinda liked him.

So I've been on a NES kick recently I played through Castlevanias 1 and 3. (I refuse to touch Simon's Quest) However, I just beat the Turbo Tunnel stage on Battletoads. I've never done that before. I feel so freakin' accomplished, that I'm gonna go eat a pizza. Wait, wrong anthropomorphic fighting green team.

I'm tied between '02 and '06.Both had some of my favorite sets. I loved the Bohrok, and I loved 2006's Titans.The Bohrok arc remains my favorite arc in all of the story however.

Definitely Lewa Nuva's Air Katanas.Katanas that help you fly is the coolest thing I've ever heard.

I usually look around for my oldest buds, MoSM, and Phauxx.

So I've been having fun with modular origami, and thought I'd share with y'all what I've been doing. First up is this guy. In the family of Icosidodecahedra, this is the Compound of Five Tetrahemihexahedra (yes, that's its actual name). 30 sheets used in this one. Next, is the Enigma Cube! I'm particularly fond of this thing. Mine is kinda sloppy though. The neat thing about this one is it has an illusory cube inside. It's kinda hard to tell with that picture, so here's an awful gif. Link Aren't I amazing at photography. Anyways, 6 sheets for this guy. Lastly, we have this monster. Say hello to the Truncated Icosahedron, also known as a buckyball. This one needed a full 90 sheets, and several, several hours to make. Here's one last group shot for some size comparison.

So I feel like being more active here again. Maybe. We'll see how it goes. Either way, I finally changed my christmas theme. I've told by multiple people that I am, in fact, Dipper Pines. So I figured this would be appropriate. Also, I've been listening to so much Punch Brothers. And nothing could be better. Also also, I got to see Caravan Palace live a week or so ago. It was pretty sick. Their violinist is insane.

So it seems I haven't been around a lot recently, as shown by my still having a christmas themed avatar. So, basic life update: Finished freshman year of college! Yay! Party time all around! That's pretty much it! I haven't been able to get a job this summer, although not for lack of trying. I swear I must've applied to every business in the area. Now for the kinda bummer reason I started this entry. I just found out that my family hasn't been able to make the mortgage payments on our house, and as such, we have to sell it and move out within the next six months. For me, this means that when I leave in August for school, it'll be the last I see of my childhood home. This is gonna be pretty rough, so please, keep me and my family in your thoughts and/or prayers. I'm not entirely sure how this is gonna work out. Sorry for coming back with such a bummer post. :/
