  1. I was just looking at the map of Mata Nui, and the only landmark that is named in Ga Wahi other that Naho Bay is the Hura Mafa river, and that doesn't really make sense to be a Toa name, having 2 words and all. If anything, I can see the river being named that after 2 Ko-Toa that worked closely together and were close in general, so they named one river, which seems to originate from the cold mountains, after them. However, it does make sense that the Fau swamp was made after a great Bo-Toa, being a swamp and all.
  2. Honestly at firat I was a little disappointed with the result at first, but I actually really like this idea. After all, you would need a Toa to help heal in some way with a friggin dragon attacking. If we could establish his name based on Mata Nui landmarks, it would make sense to base it off of a region in GA WAHI since he is "their" hero so do remember that if we come to that point. A poll for the weapon would be sweet too, but a little difficult to determine arguably since I feel a Bo-Toa would be a pacifist more or less... Maybe a shield? Finally, I say we see if Greg likes the idea of Teridax getting his plan for Karzahni from this Bo-Toa, who created a plant that temporarily fed off the heat in Metru Nui, helping drive the dragon dormant!
  3. I built my Lewa and Kopaka mata with their shoulders placed like Tahu, and Gali with the narrow shoulders. Worked out well sonce it gave the two a more masculine look, while more femininity to Gali.
  4. I'm still not seeing how the Green would help wrangle up the Kanohi Dragon.
  5. They all do. Or should at least, as a species trait.Zaktan didn't have one until later on, but that's due to his own weird nature. All the other Skakdi (excluding the half-mut Vezon), have had 3 powers.
  6. No they don't. Bohrok Va were created by the Great Beings. Only some Avtoran turn into Bohrok. The one that head down the Toa-Turaga part become that: Toa and Turaga. Again, Bahrag and Bohrok Va were created by the Great Beings, as they are in their current forms. It's all on BS01 idk why there's any discussion about things that were established as fact, like 5+ years ago. Instead, we should be trying to wrap up some loose ends in Gen1, not make up new theories and clutter the already complicated story.
  7. He said it was burried under a bunch of files in his basement, after that he explain that it's pretty much lost forever, sadly. TSO's name was in that bunch too, fun fact!
  8. Idk if this has been mentioned before, but I believe these things should be included and clarified: •Makuta can only use one power at a time •how Takanuva became a Toa by only putting on the MoL •how Takanuva got ressurected •exactly what is needed for a being to be revived in heaven/ (limbo?) the Red Star •MU characters are 80% machine 20% organic and SM vice versa •Takanuva is the only Toa of light EVER in the prime universe •Destinies can vary across alt. universes •The Great Beings are meatbags and hail from SM. They arent humans. That's all I have for now. I feel like most of it is minor stuff, but it'd be good to get a giant appendix/list of all the misconceptions no matter how big or small.
  9. Arthon or Faxon. They both look so cool.
  10. Other. Here's why: Vision power, special power (which were gnarly btw), and elemental power? That spells OP to me. I think they should've had elemental resistance like the Matoran do of their elements, in addition to the other 2 powers. I like the idea of tribe affiliation and minor powers like the Matoran, but not actual powers.
  11. Exactly what Regit said. I think that if you ask him again, you'll get the same answer because this is a matter of legal issues and intellectual property ownership. I HIGHLY doubt it Lego will be just like "Yeah guys! Go for it, go crazy!" They would still be liable for any people we'd "offend" with these names.
  12. I think Greg addressed before that Avtoran destiny goes in 2 directions: some turn into Toa, others go Bohrok. There's no cross between the two. The Bahrag twins were created as unique beings in the Matoran Universe, similarly to Umbra. No species, and no other beings of their kind.
  13. I like the names and all however, the rule still stands: Greg cannot canonize any names that haven't been pre-approved by the legal team. Therefore, I don't see this happening. However, I remember Greg saying that he had a list of approved Bionicle names he got for 2011, and that they're burried somewhere in his files. If we cpuld get that, I would be a happy man.
  14. Has anyone noticed that it's kind of similar to the animation of Samurai Jack? A little more vivid, but very similar.
  15. I think magnetism or iron would be cery useful to sort of try and wrangle the dragon to stop him from flying away. Gravity could work too? And I honestly don't really see how Earth would be usedul without damaging/burrying the entire city. EDIT: How i the world do any of you think that plantlife would be useful? Think about it. Just cuz you want a Bo-Toa don't try to powerdrive one into canon for a team that it doesn't make sense for him to be on. Come on.
  16. She has a very broad figure. Reminds me of Michael Phelps. Also, legs too skinny, but I enjoy the custom torso, maybe not on this MOC though.
  17. No, I'm aware of that, but wishful thinking is wishful thinking! If anything, I think 2009 would have been a good year to introduce new torsos from the set designers' side.
  18. Ehh while Takanuva has grown into a great Toa, I still think Jaller has that natural leadership you'd want to see controling a team of 13 Toa
  19. Does anyone like the idea of them becoming another team of Toa and using the same masks as the Mahri did before transforming? That would be kind of neat. A team of 12 Toa that have been there from 2001, all interesting characters and buddies, plus Takanuva? That would be awesome.
  20. In addition to what has been stated above, I'd like to mention that they do in fact appear similar to a HF villian. Hellooo, the Brains anyone?
  21. I like to see basic similarity, like the Inika Torso that was reused (sue me I LUV IT), but the minor differences that were introduced with the Mahri/Nuva/Glatorian were amazing. I do think the Glatorian body should have been made to look a little more... Organic (prolly by using the softer plastic and meatier parts).
  22. Maybe cuz he's kind of "meh"? I'd personally love to see Takua/Takanuva. Heck, I DEMAND it. Having Vezon pop in n out of existance once in a while would be a nice gag, similarly to the Vahi cloud, but I don't want him to have too much story influence.
  23. I homestly love all of them, and while I will go into detail on each of them later on, I would like to point out what I think about Naho. I think that the 3 shades of blue are awesome, and somehow I just see that being Naho, but I do feel that the silver and ccbs seems to be intriguing. I would replace the Tahnok Kal shield with Ghalok's shield, and use the blue fire sword that came with Berix or a Gali hook for the tip of the spear, use the light blue thigh/upper arm piece with a dark blue armor for the thigh, and give her light blue hips
  24. Homestly, that would be hilarious, and would be bery enjoyable to follow. I do think having them as a new Toa team would be awesome since they're all such goofballs. Also someone mentioned that they'd like to see Macku as the leader, no way I can see that. However I would have liked if she were to make the sacrifice only so "The Boys Are Back In Town" could play when the rest of em get teleported to Metru Nui. All seriousness though, I could totally see Kapura giving his life, or perhaps Taipu. One's programming is already special and wacky, and the other is just a chirpy life-loving soul, so they'd both make sense.
