  1. You need to watch Arrested Development, Archer, 30 Rock, The Office and Scrubs ASAP.
  2. I'm convinced Portal 2 is just an elaborate marketing ploy/ARG for Half Life 3/Episode 3.
  3. If I had a PS3, I would definitely look into checking this out. I've heard/read many great things about the Uncharted series. YES. Forgot about the first four of those. BRINK looks like Battlefield meets TF2, but sadly I don't think it will be a commercial success (why aren't they advertising it heavily yet? It's almost like Bethesda doesn't have any faith in it...). Deus Ex will certainly be on my radar at E3. Arkham City: yes please. RAGE: I'm going to be watching for this at E3 as well. It certainly had a lot of people talking at PAX East. I'd be surprised if MGS:R gets released this year. If it does, I'm definitely interested. That trailer from last year's E3 was very slick. I'd also check out the Team Ico collection if I had a PS3.
  4. I think the whole investigative aspect of LA Noire looks very intriguing. There aren't many games like it. Plus, I'm a fan of 30-40s era stories. Haven't made my mind up about Portal 2. I know I'll probably have a blast playing it with friends, but I don't know how long that game will hold my interest considering the Gears 3 beta is right around the corner, then after that is LA Noire.
  5. Fortunately, my fall semester looks like it will ease up just before the holiday rush of games. I should have only one lecture class and one online class left by the beginning of October, just in time for the flood of games coming out this year. Most anticipated games this year: 1) Mass Effect 3 2) Gears of War 3 3) Battlefield 3 4) Skyrim 5) LA Noire There are still a bunch more I'm sure I'm forgetting. What about you guys?
  6. The news would probably be one of the biggest aspects of the app. Right now though, we're just brainstorming and judging interest. Who knows what other features we could do with the tools IPB3 provides. Of course, apps can always be updated with more functionality. Thanks! I'm definitely excited about actually, possibly working on an application that could be published to a select market. You guys will get to be our guinea pigs for testing. Formatting the app to work on any screen will definitely be an interesting task. We will definitely want it to be a functional and easy-to-use app that will be enjoyable across multiple platforms (Androids, iOSs, etc.). The great thing about apps is that they can be updated rather frequently based on user feedback. Thanks! I'll put you on the pre-order list.
  7. For every donation, 1 proto! I think we can do that, right?
  8. Hey guys! Let me throw this hypothetical your way. Say that, in the somewhat near future (1 year at the earliest), there was a BZPower mobile application for download on various app marketplaces. Would you be interested in such a thing? Would you download it? What kind of features would you like to see in such an application? NOTE: This is not a project in progress in ANY way. I am solely gauging interest at this point. Please leave your feedback! Ask your friends about what they think! I would very much appreciate all comments. This may or may not turn into an actual application at some point in the future.
  9. Oh god, the weather still sucks here! The humidity is outrageous. We just got a new A/C system in my house though, so it will probably be a little more bearable this year.

  10. It's not too bad. I've got a few great friends that make it worthwhile. Plus, it's only about 2-3 hours to Atlanta, the beach, etc. I just don't want to live hear my whole life because I don't think I will be able to move into the career I would like to here.

  11. Ah, ok. I live just outside of Montgomery. I've lived here for 20 years of my life, but was born in Illinois. I'd be surprised if I was still here in 5 years.

  12. Whoo! What part are you from? Don't worry, I'm too busy to be a stalked.:P

Every word that you say passes through my ears before it even escapes, before it even escapes... Open your closed mind (Open your closed mind) and close your open mouth. You're pushing more, you're pushing more than you are pulling... Open your closed mind and close your open mouth. ~~~~~ I am not a very vocal person. Unless I have something to say, I usually remain quiet and listen to what others have to say. I encourage everyone to think about what you feel you have to say before you actually say it. Realize that this website is an eclectic one: there are many different values, opinions and beliefs represented by our member base. We are all not going to agree with everyone else, and the chances that what we have to say will persuade someone that they are 'wrong' is slim-to-none. We all seem to think that we are the only person that is steadfast in our beliefs and that our words will wash over anyone willing to listen, bringing waves of eye-opening realization of the truth to those blinded by ignorance. The truth is, this isn't going to happen and that is perfectly fine. We have every right to our own opinion, and so does everyone else. When tempers start to flare, we automatically start building up defenses to what others have to say. "No one learns from someone they hate. Your mouth is like a grenade blowing everyone away." We start flinging around words that not only cut, but that will leave deep scars in the minds and hearts of others. Why do we do this? We're just trying to persuade them that we are right. How could someone believe so differently from what I believe? Isn't it obvious, their beliefs are wrong! Saying things like this will essentially deafen the ears of those we are trying to speak to. No one likes hearing they are wrong about anything - it goes against our very nature. Everyone has the free will to choose what they believe is right and wrong. We should all come to respect others beliefs whether or not they fall in line with our own. It's not our job to make anyone believe what they do not want to believe.
  20. I was going to say the same thing. WHAT RUSHES INTO MY HEART AND MY SKULL I CANT CONTROL I FEEL IT IN MY BONES
  21. I have it brand new, unopened. I'm smack-dab in the middle of Awakening and want to finish that before I start DA2. Plus, school is starting to get kinda busy. I really want to play it!
