  1. I thought you weren't being completely serious when you said that. I won't doubt you ever again. :PI wish I had been able to get involved properly, but I wasn't. Now I am doomed to forever struggle in order to keep up with everything you guys go through.
  2. You guys are just looking for a chance to use those blogs you now have. XDYeah... I think I've realized that the Mark Bearer plot is really something I'm better off admiring from a distance.A really big distance. Like, the other side of the island.
  3. I count as half-away at any given point due to my rather infrequent posts and tendency to randomly disappear.Of course, it isn't like there is any particular reason behind that.
  4. Guess that makes my decision of having Salamander leave Ga-Wahi all the easier...
  5. Well, not right now, but...Oh who am I kidding. I have no idea what I'm talking about. I am so out of the loop right now...
  6. I think I'm going to have Salamander just leave Ga-Wahi. At this point I'm kinda finding the Mark Bearer plot to be a bit too awkward... Or maybe it's just my imagination that there is one massive Gambit Pileup going on. Maybe.
  7. Hmm... I believe the laser on mine is broken, making it impossible to read any discs. Right now the only thing I can play on it is Majora's Mask on the virtual console. XD I haven't had the chance to read the Visual Novel yet, but I loved the anime adaptation of Steins;Gate.
  8. That reminds me; I really need to get my wii fixed... What was wrong with yours, and what did you have to do in order to solve the problem? Just in case they are the same problems. Sword Art Online is shaping up to be pretty good. I've read almost all of the light novels over the past week, and there are definitely a few parts I'm really looking forward to. And Fate/Zero is awesome, save for one or two episodes that are actually somewhat horrifying (at least for me).
  9. OOC: I've found that a good way to hide your character IC is to pull off a disappearing act OOC. IC: SalamanderSalamander stood up from the table he had been eating at and placed a handful of widgets down as payment for the meal. Although the food hadn't been particularly noteworthy, Salamander couldn't find it in himself to even complain silently. He had needed food, and the taste was of little importance.I wonder if they've found out that the safe isn't hidden under Naho Bay yet...If asked why he hadn't followed Angelus' plan to the letter, Salamander would have been lost for an answer; it was a spur-of-the-moment decision on his part, although he did like how it gave him a bargaining chip he could use if the situation ever called for it. Of course, that was if he didn't decide to leave the village of water and continue wandering aimlessly across the island. With Utu gone - only time would tell if his absence would be permanent - Salamander had little reason to hang around the Mark Bearers, and by extension Ga-Koro. He had told himself that accompanying them would be the best way to encounter Utu once more (assuming he wasn't dead, of course), but the more time he was given to think about it the less probable that plan became. Salamander grabbed his coat from the chair it had been hanging on and stepped outside into the bright Ga-Wahi sunshine. He suspected that no matter the decision he reached, he would be leaving the village that day; as such, it was high-time he acted like tourist and did a bit of looking around.
  10. Yeah... Too bad I didn't follow the plan Tyler made to the letter, huh? :PThanks for the recap, Snipe.
  11. Hey, look at that. I did that thing I do where I disappear randomly without giving any sort of warning and fail to make any sort of post for a few days. Again.Sorry, I've been dragged away from the computer with a disturbing frequency lately, but I think that is over. For now. Gosh I hope it is. Anyway, what did I miss with the Mark Bearer plot?
  12. Janus, did you get Mass Effect 1 & 2 during a flash sale? I've been hoping they would be available in one, but if I already missed it I'll just buy 'em now. XD
  13. I've managed to limit myself to only the Braid soundtrack so far, but I'm afraid by the time this is over I will have shelled out quite a pretty penny...
  14. I can't really generalize it beyond saying that it depends on the feel of each individual work. However, while I was reading your description I thought of an alternative naming pattern: name each story like it is an episode of a television show. No numbers, no "Episode", just a short title that ties in to its own self-contained story and immediately evokes a response from the reader and (hopefully) encourages them to read it.Unless, of course, that's what you meant by "Pilot Episode". If that is the case, I'm in favor of that particular option.
  15. OOC: Dang it. I had the post all written up and then my internet crashed. IC: SalamanderSalamander examined the safe, thankful that it wasn't any larger. As it was, he doubted that carrying would prove too difficult, but any larger and it might have been awkward to hold for any period of time. Sighing, he reached down and picked it up before marching out of the lab and flying towards the Ga-Wahi beach. Angelus had suggested hiding it under Naho Bay, and despite Salamander's dislike towards water, he did agree that it would make for a good hiding place. However, he had a different location in mind. After a few long minutes of flying, Salamander reached his destination. In his eyes, the waterfall was a force with no equal on this island, save the occasional freak blizzard. Either one could kill him easily, so he thought it was only natural that he hide the safe near the waterfall."Down you go."He tossed the safe into the onslaught of downward-bound water and watched it disappear from sight, thankful to have been rid of his load. If what Kearrstrun had told Praggos was true...I hope that safe didn't break open, because if it did I might end up responsible for killing every living thing in the Wahi...Without wasting any more time, Salamander returned to the village of Ga-Koro. For reasons even he didn't know, he decided to land in front of the main gate instead of the simply flying into the village. Perhaps it was because he had grown tired of flying all over the Wahi that day, or maybe he just didn't want to make a scene. Either way, he began to walk into the village, already wondering what he would eat for lunch.OOC: That's it for his portion of the plan, right?
  16. I think we all wish that. I don't. After the whole Dreenan/Ngata fiasco, I learned that sometimes it's a good thing to have a character who simply can't be saved. Not saying that applies to Tuara, but I wish it did.
  17. I made a game with that last post out of giving as few details as possible while still making it (somewhat) clear to those who know what Salamander's doing.Even if it's silly, I got a good chuckle out of it. XD
  18. IC: SalamanderSalamander woke up to the sound of the ocean, the calls of the many sea birds that lived near the village ringing in his ears. It took him a moment to remember where he was. After everything that happened the day before, he had spent nearly an hour trying to find a cheap place to spend the night. Eventually he had found a small inn on the outskirts of Ga-Koro, but by that time he was half-asleep and barely able to walk.Apparently he had managed to make it to his room, though. That was good. Sleeping in the hallway after paying for a room would have been an absurd waste of money.Salamander stood up and walked over to the small window that adorned the otherwise-featureless walls. He glanced outside just long enough to decide that with the ocean, sky, and Ga-Matoran, the view had far too much blue in it.Ah, right. There's something I'm supposed to retrieve. Better get to work on that, huh?Salamander grabbed his coat and, after making sure that all of his possessions were still inside of it, exited the inn. It only took him a few minutes of flying to reach his destination, but Salamander needing nearly half an hour to get past the front door did an excellent job reducing the extra time that gave him and then some. When Salamander finally managed to duplicate the technique he had seen used to unlock the door, the sun had already risen high into the sky.Grumbling about having to be the errand boy, Salamander traipsed through the tunnels. He kept a wary eye out for any stray Rahi that might think he would make for a nutritious lunch, but just as before none approached him. He entered the "main" room and looked upon the heavy metal object he had been tasked with retrieving, his dislike for his job increasing exponentially. OOC: Haha. Next post will be him completing the delivery, or whatever it is that he is supposed to be doing.
  19. Snipe, you'll see... :evilgrin:Actually, I have no idea what is going on. You'll have to ask Tyler (ask him for the both of us, while you're at it!).Tyler, should I have Salamander pick up the uh... item before he drops by the wedding?
  20. Nothing. I was in the middle of typing up a Salamander post when I got sidetracked, and uh... Have kinda been messing around since then. Anyway, if Salamander notices Norathed it'll be after he and Angelus pull off their little plan.
  21. That's kind of the point. A number of you guys (which seemingly includes you, as you brought the topic up completely out of the blue) never seem to miss a chance to complain about expies, and it is really quite annoying.
  22. Did I miss the part where that topic was brought up yet again? Enough with the expy hate; it's getting incredibly old. So long as you are still killing things, that's perfectly acceptable.
  23. Somebody already said it today, but we really need to shift the focus of this game back from romance to the mindless slaughter of everything that crosses our paths.Like, really.
  24. Sorry, I've been working on my Pride entry. May make a post later today, but it'll probably be Salamander finding something to eat or getting some sleep.
  25. What do you guys think is a better name? Rukahu, or Tekariis?

      Let's Henshin!

      Tekariis.

In terms of name following, I had to beat the 3 syllable name thing I had, out of my head.

Funny how I thought of the two names as rather equal in merit. Apparently that was somewhat of a huge mistake. XD

The ironic part is that if he is made, sooner or later he'll be referred to only as Pride.

    4. Let's Henshin!

      Let's Henshin!

Rukahu is also cool, Tekeriis just has a really cool ring to it.
