There, I posted. I'll have him actually do something when something actually happens.

OOC: Dang it, totally forgot about something I wanted to do while Salamander was at the bar.It has to do with his name being used in an alcoholic beverage without his consent and as many lawyers as I can find. IC: SalamanderSalamander wasn't exactly thrilled when the group decided to immediately make its way to the lab of this "Arekule", and what little enthusiasm he had was only diminished when they actually arrived at the place. He remembered mockingly comparing the creator of the Mark Bearers to a mad scientist back at the bar, but now that he saw how the lab was hidden he realized that he might have not been far off the mark. Of course, anyone that would have created these things had to have been at least a little crazy...The so-called leader of the group, Yuru, seemed to have still not made up his mind as to who would get the mark. Salamander wasn't sure how he felt about that. On one hand, it meant he wouldn't have to deal with any of the problems that seemed to occur to those with Marks, but he was also rather curious to see what would happen if he was given one. The prospect of essentially replacing Utu also intrigued hm; he wanted to know what he would do if placed in a similar situation as Utu had been in. No, he needed to know. He needed to know that he and Utu hadn't been so similar after all.After all, Utu was dead, and Salamander had no intention of following his lead.

Whatever. Salamander just takes the Obfuscating Stupidity route, with only moderate success.

That seems completely backwards. Most geniuses I've seen in fiction use their abilities to improve their manipulating skills.Edit: Well, at least the ones who do any manipulating... XD

Wait, Praggos is a genius? That's news to me.

Wait... having some for of sport in Kirse is a really good idea. It will help give the city a bit more life, and also provide people with an occupation that (probably) doesn't involve killing and stealing. Should we have arena battles? That system was implemented in a somewhat similar situation, so it would make sense if it existed in the game. Chariot races are a good idea, but unless we make the city bigger I'm not sure where they could be... I thought it was fairly obvious that the Nui Jaga are the "good" faction, but if that's really a problem then we probably should fix it.

...I'll stop messing around and make one, then.

Tyler, you aren't the only one with ideas as to what could happen when your character gets the mark, you know.

What if they both got one? Is that an option?Worst case scenario, Skyra and Salamander have an awesome fight to the death to get rid of the "spare".

Just to make sure... Salamander is with the group in Arekule's lab, right?Yes I lost track of the location of my own character. I've been busy playing video games.

I don't really care if Salamander gets the mark or not. All I wanted was an excuse to follow you guys around the island. :PBut I do think the reasons that were brought up in-game as to why Skyra shouldn't get it make sense. Unless, of course, your plan is for Skyra to go crazy. In which case, you'll probably do a great job with that. Probably.

I feel the same way. Also, just the way Vorex has been describing it in the forum makes it seem like it's being thrown together as more people show interest in it.

Thanks! I was just aiming for really cranky, and have always imagined him pressing his ear against his door to listen to all the confused Matoran as they wonder what in the world they were just told. Now that I think about it, though, his character in this story seems similar to how he might be portrayed in a comedy, that is, with one trait ridiculously exaggerated. In this case, it would be his old-man crankiness. XD

Without Utu around, the Mark Bearer's true weaknesses have been revealed!Some of them are incredibly indecisive.

Think about it for a moment; what better replacement for Utu than the one responsible for his death? Of course, even with that I doubt you'd be as good as the original.
