  1. So, am I the only one who finds it amusing that a "dragon" has appeared in Ga-Wahi?Yeah. I feel almost as if I have no choice in the matter. Gotta try to kill it.
  2. IC: Salamander"Hmm... Alright. I'm still not fully convinced, but that doesn't matter."Even as he spoke, Salamander's mind raced. It did matter, despite whatever he might say to the contrary. However...I can't bring myself to care anymore. "Count me in."OOC: Wow, really difficult to write this up for whatever reason... I must be out of practice. :/
  3. Then I'm clearly not using my status bar correctly.Anyway, I think I might try to get the position of Pride in the Daedra. Maybe. Still not too sure, if I'm perfectly honest...
  4. You have to start somewhere, right? I can't say it's worked out for me just yet, but still I think "branching out" is a good path to take.
  5. No can do, mostly because of reasons. I love how for whatever reason there is always at least a day between each of our posts. XD
  6. I'm torn between my desire to have only one character (as unreasonable as that may be) and how much I would love for a character of mine to be a part of the Daedra. This is going to be difficult to decide...
  7. IC: SalamanderSalamander silently examined the multiple aspects of the plan, constantly trying to find a better and more efficient way to accomplish the tasks Angelus had devised. There were only one or two things that came to mind, and after Salamander questioned Angelus further about said parts it was clear that the plan could very well work. Of course, Salamander hadn't had to do such a thing in order to determine this; he just like to feel as if he had contributed in some way or another. However, there was still one question he felt the need to ask."What do I gain from all of this? You can't have expected me to sign up simply because it will ruin their day."
  8. Can't decide between Lifetime or One-Year Premier Membership... :/

      The Dark Chronicler

When in doubt about what advice to give someone, wait until they choose for themselves first! :P

It really all depends on if you think it is worth having for only a year, or paying more for longer.

Yeah, I went with One-Year. I think I'll get Lifetime next year, though, when I hopefully have a bit more money to spend.

      Also, potential 12% discount. XD

That sounds like a good plan to me.

      That's always a positive thing.

  9. So, instead of acting like the sane person that I so often try to convince myself I am and simply asking what I've missed or reading only the last couple of pages, I read every single post since the last time I checked this topic. Not even sure if I feel like making a Salamander post... I'll be back after I finish practicing piano and see if I'm in the mood then. Tyler, sorry for taking so long to reply.
  10. Tyler, that reminds me.Looks like you have another Salamander post to respond to.
  11. I'm not familiar with names of alcoholic beverages, so I must ask.Are they all so lengthy?
  12. As far as I know, it's not actually a reference to the character; somebody just thought it sounded like a cool name for a beverage.
  13. I really hate how everyone's drink of choice seems to be Salamander's Revenge. Here I am, looking through a topic when I see the word Salamander and immediately wonder if somebody is interacting with my character. And it's only ever the case just often enough for me to keep doing that. Every. Time.
  14. Are you going to do any more product reviews? I've always enjoyed your reviews immensely, and would love to see more at some point in the future. Actually, the made me think of another question (that I probably should have asked first). How often do you buy LEGO sets these days, if at all?
  15. This is exactly what I do. A couple of my friends have even gone so far as to say that the way I behave when around turrets is completely unnerving. XD
  16. I was planning on going to Brickfair, but the person I was going to go with decided to go to the Olympics instead...
  17. OOC: No problem. Gave me more time to play Minecraft, so I'm definitely not complaining. XDIC: Salamander"Hmm?"Salamander looked up from the journal to find Angelus standing before him. It took him a moment to replay Angelus' question, but once he had Salamander immediately broke into a smile. He needed no further incentive, although he would be certain to inquire for more information in order to attain just that.Something kept him from replying, however. He still held hope that Utu would make a return, and he still believed that if that happened Utu would first find the Mark Bearers. Having Utu tracking down the group he was traveling with would be far easier than finding the Toa of Ice himself, and Salamander certainly did like taking the easy route whenever possible. However, that plan hinged on being able to accompany the Mark Bearers; making the group angry at him likely wouldn't do much to help him gain their acceptance of him as a travel companion. Salamander decided that it would be best to get an idea of Angelus' plan before agreeing or disagreeing to assist him with it, as was only natural."What do you have in mind?
  18. Who, me? :PFishers64 does bring up a good point. I don't dislike what you have here, but it doesn't seem very... despair-ish. That sentence gets a lot weirder when I say it, but that's not important. What is important is that you've managed to create an interesting character with a rather short story, and everything but the character's name fits well. Overall, it's a pretty neat story you've got here.
  19. Has anybody else ever had the text selection color for MS Word (and just MS Word) suddenly change to black?

  20. Hey, you guys are always talking about how you have large numbers of characters. I thought I'd take the conversation in a different direction. But yeah. Some of those "players" have made only one post: the post for their profiles.
  21. I now know that I am not alone. There are 72 other players with only one character. Of course, I'm probably the most active of that prestigious group...
  22. Just finished watching Cowboy Bebop. That... that was pretty amazing.

  23. OOC: Bleh... went to sleep way too late last night, and now I'm not at all tired... Might as well post something. IC: SalamanderSalamander entered the village, his steps slow and cautious. As much as he disliked Praggos, the Toa of Ice had reminded him of an important fact; the Mark Bearers no longer needed him. Indeed, they would likely be better off if he was dead, a fact he suspected Yuru was all too aware of. Seeing as how Ga-Koro was swarming with mark Bearers, he decided it would be a good idea to try to avoid bumping into many of them as he looked for a place to take a nap.As he searched, Salamander noticed a lump in one of his pocket and reached inside to find a small journal. After a moment spent wondering where in the world it had come from, he remembered Angelus giving it to him before the fiasco at the bar. He absentmindedly flipped it open and began to read a random page, frowning, he turned to another, and then another. Every page was about the same thing. The Mark Bearers. Most, if not all of the dangerous ones. The journal contained detailed descriptions of the Mark Bearers, from the personalities to their abilities. What interested Salamander the most, however, was the inclusion of weaknesses, and strategies that could be used against them. Not all the strategies would work for him, as apparently the creator of the journal had been a Toa of Iron, but that did little to decrease Salamander's gratitude for the information. He turned to the first page, wondering if the author had left some form of identification behind and saw only a single word: Dorian. Dorian, whoever you are, you just made my day.Salamander began to read the journal with steadily-increasing interest, until eventually he was so absorbed in his readings that he nearly walked right into a Toa of Fire. Without looking up from the journal, Salamander muttered an almost inaudible apology before turning to walk away.OOC: That would be Angelus...
  24. OOC: Bleh... Can't write for beans right now... :/IC: SalamanderSalamander stood at the entrance to the tunnels, watching as the group slowly dispersed. Now that they had accomplished their task and found themselves a new Mark Bearer of Fear, the individual members of the group were all heading their own separate ways. Nothing better to do, Salamander decided to return to the village. At the very least, it might provide him with a much-needed chance to rest. Without saying another word, Salamander began to walk to Ga-Koro.
  25. Zacax, you really shouldn't try to fight a Rahkshi at this point. Assuming you don't make a move that will result in Nuju smiting you, you'll still likely end up getting completely trashed by those things. Some of the most talented RPers here have fought the Rahkshi, and only a handful of them have emerged victorious. The odds are seriously against you in this situation.
