  1. If by "everybody" you mean all the Mark Bearers as opposed to a more literal meaning of the word, yes.It would be an even better twist if it was the latter, though. :PEdit: And who is still at the lab? Anyone?

    Bad Rpg Player

Please, it's the ones that somehow teleport from Po-Koro to Le-Koro in a single sentence that you have to watch out for. XD
  3. You'll have to tell him why he should care about Tuara's condition before that can happen, though. He'll continue following them. He's already been told that one managed to come back to life, and he thinks that if Utu does return he will make his way towards wherever the group is.
  4. I think it sounds like one big headache-inducer, but since Salamander doesn't have a mark it won't affect me. So, sounds awesome.
  5. OOC: Finally posted something!Yeah, I'm probably too late. IC: SalamanderSalamander watched the procedure with indifference; Skyra simply having his arm cut up and then passing out didn't exactly make for prime entertainment, and thus held little interest to Salamander. He suspected that both he and Skyra hadn't particularly wanted to bear the Mark of Fear, but he did think he would have been a better match for it. Something about Skyra's behavior told Salamander than the other Toa was weak, and Salamander doubted such weakness would make inciting terror an easy task to accomplish. As Skyra examined the new feature on his arm, Praggos began to argue with the one called Kearrstrun. Praggos wanted some chunk of metal for his supposed "experiments", but after a while Salamander began to believe that his further insistence on holding on to something that was supposed to be able to kill him within only a few hours was born almost completely out of pride. Salamander's opinion of Praggos somehow managed to sink to a new depth, all while his disgust towards the same Toa rose to an all-time high.Praggos bugged Salamander almost as much as Utu had, but he was still worthless in Salamander's eyes when compared to the former "leader" of the Mark Bearers. Despite the fact that they had always opposed each other, Salamander had appreciated the similarities between himself and Utu; all Praggos did was get on his nerves with his incessant talking and conniving. Their task clearly completed, the group began to exit the lab. Salamander followed the rest, never once saying a word. Even if he had felt like talking, he wouldn't have been able to think of the words to say. No, that wasn't quite right. He would have had words, but none of them would have been very polite. Telling others that you are sick of their very existence is never a polite thing to do.Unfortunately...
  6. I'm not. Oh, wait... That was a rhetorical question, huh?

    I Blame Kakaru

If it wasn't done already, I think this proves that BZPower members can make fads out of anything. That said, I want in.
  8. Aren't "they" usually right when that is said? At the end of the half hour, the one who was told that has either been blasted off (again), dragged away in handcuffs, horribly mutated, thought of as dead, or some other punishment somehow proportional to the crimes they committed.
  9. My room is also the only one without AC, so I feel your pain. Fortunately, my family is too cheap to run the AC more than a handful of times over the course of the entire summer, so the rest of my family usually suffers alongside me.
  10. Your mention of Salamander pretty much sums up his current mood. He doesn't have any real opinions on the matter, so I think I'll be lazy and not post until Skyra wakes up.
  11. Keep it up and Salamander will start to ignore him. Praggos struck a serious nerve with that last comment of his, both with Salamander and me.*absolutely hates it when people say that phrase in real life*
  12. Can't say I have... Until now. Unfortunately, I'm rather determined to limit myself to only one character. At this rate, I'll be the only player with only one character (if I'm not already).
  13. OOC: Salamander can barely even create a flame without using one of his techniques; his powers are completely combat oriented. IC: Salamander"That I will dispute. We met, what, a few hours a ago? I mean as much offense as possible when I say I would know myself and my own limits better than you would. So get lost, Praggos."Salamander walked past Praggos and entered the room he assumed to be the actual lab. The rest of the group had already gathered inside of it, no doubt having passed Salamander while Praggos was distracting him.At least Yuru makes no attempt to hide what he is thinking... Way easier to deal with people like him...
  14. OOC: Still not entirely convinced. Mostly because of the way you repeated "can be possible". The word "can" just makes it seem like it is unlikely to me. IC: SalamanderSalamander simply laughed at Praggos' demonstration. "That requires a fair amount of subtlety, something I'm pretty much incapable of pulling off with my abilities. So thanks for the advice and all, but it seems like you've got the running away business handled on your own. If you were looking for someone to make an escape tunnel for you, you'll have to look elsewhere."
  15. IC: Salamander"Are you saying that is even remotely feasible? The amount of energy required would leave me passed out on the ground, and that's assuming the tunnel doesn't collapse on us after I break through what we are referring to as the ceiling. Of course, I could use my mask to speed the process up and potentially avoid being crushed to death by a pile of rocks, but naturally that has its own set of problems. How would I be able to identify the weak spots at that kind of speed?"It wasn't the first time his intelligence would be called into question, but the sheer ridiculousness (as he saw it) of Praggos' words made it rather difficult to take sitting down.
  16. IC: Salamander"'Useful later on?' Right, I almost forgot for a moment that you are the scheming one. However, I'd like to point out that blasting myself through the ceiling isn't exactly the smartest way to get out of here. Even if we ignore the fact that the entrance to the tunnel was at the face of a cliff (which means I'd have to get through multiple layers), the ceiling is made of stone. Why don't you try it out and tell me how well that plan works?"Salamander had the feeling that Praggos was once more trying to manipulate him in some way or another, and wanted nothing to do with it. Unfortunately, he knew too little about Praggos to be able to determine what outcome the Toa of Ice was aiming for, so he had simply decided to go with whatever felt most natural.Aside from trying to kill Praggos, of course. Seeing as how that was his first impulse, he'd have to go with whatever felt slightly-less-than-most natural. The things I do to keep every being on the island from being at my throat. Seriously, I deserve some kind of medal for everything I do...
  17. IC: Salamander"And your point is...?"Salamander continued walking, his face showing just how bored he was. He wouldn't mind a fight, even in such tight quarters and with the silly Kuma Nui lurking close by, if it meant staving off his boredom for a few minutes. Of course, his body had had enough experience with the feeling to recognize that "staving off boredom" was often related to being beaten into a pulp and returning the favor to whoever had done so to it. He knew that fighting all the Mark Bearers was an impossible task, but somehow he knew that surviving such a fight wouldn't be too difficult. In fact, the longer he thought about it the more ideas he came up with for what to do if the situation turned grim.A slight grin crossed his face for the briefest of moments.
  18. Wait, what.Okay, totally forgot about those. Anyway, I don't really intend to fight Praggos, so it doesn't matter. :PAnyway, what's up in the lab (again)? Seems like everything has... frozen. That was a desperate attempt at a pun. I am (not) sorry.
  19. Imaginative doesn't equal effective. You forget that I've literally been fighting Toa of Ice for nearly the entire duration of this game. Seriously. Almost all of them have been Toa of Ice. XD
  20. Don't make the mistake of confusing Salamander's thoughts with my own.And also, that attack would be next to useless on Sal.
  21. BioBeast: 1. I thought the exact same thing, but at that point we end up with something like a mega-faction that simply doesn't make much sense to exist. Of course, that's just my opinion on it. 2. Which if memory serves correctly, was just more desert and a bit of ruins. We need more than that, and it needs to be inside the city's walls. We've already said how dangerous it is to venture outside of the city for any length of time, so we need to give people things to do in the city. Cadias: 1. Rewriting the descriptions seems like it'll be a necessary action to take. 3. Okay, so the Nui Jaga/Nightgaurd will have to publicly declare their "noble" goals in order to make sure they are seen as the good guys. I don't like ditching the subtlety, but it seems like something that should be done in order to better engage players. The bad faction can just continue doing what they've been doing. 4. Yeah... Sorry about that. Meant to say see 2. XD
  22. BioBeast Okay, I might be a teensy bit biased in thinking that people would immediately think the Nui Jaga are good guys. Maybe. Anyway, that's a good point you bring up. We already have a good idea of where most of the factions stand morality-wise, but we may have not done the best job in describing that. Cadias: Usually when I get tired there's no difference in my behavior (well, I make more typos, but that's about it XD), but yesterday was just a really long day for some reason, and I wasn't exactly thrilled to find that the conversation was still off topic when I cam back. So, I kinda lost my cool. Anyway... 1. I'd rather cut it down to four factions; the good guys, the neutral group (which I guess would really just be all the non-affiliated people, making the faction count actually three; I'm bad at math. ), the bad guys, and the Brakas. I wasn't too fond of the Brakas at first, but the more I've thought about it the more I've realized that their presence is a necessary element. They are the people who are simply sick of the current situation and want to unwind a bit, which I think is fitting. As for the other two factions, what if we merge some of them? Nightguard and Nui-Jaga (good), Freerunners and Poisoned Blood (bad). The Shades are a bit generic, so I'm unsure what to do with them... Anyway, you guys get the picture. 2. Yes, the city definitely needs some more locations. Sports, black markets, blacksmiths, junkyards, etc. These are things that the city probably already has, but we need to tell people that. 3. I ignored it in 1. (okay, I missed it), but resistance against what? All the gangs? As it is, the gangs are all struggling for control, so there isn't one entity or organization to resist against. Yet. 4. See 3. See 2.
  23. IC: Salamander Salamander remained silent while Skyra and Tillian bantered on about languages and Praggos became increasingly more irritated. He had no interest in their conversation; rather, he wanted nothing more than to follow Praggos' lead and tell the rest to shut up. However, he also knew that doing so could cause trouble for him, so he kept silent.Instead he began to think of how he would most like to kill certain members of the group. Yuru he would drop from as high up in the air as possible. He would break Skyra's limbs one by one until the Toa eventually couldn't move for the pain, and then slowly, every so slowly, grab Skyra's face and begin to burn the Toa of Air. As or Praggos, the creepy one who seemed to have plans of his own and was constantly trying to manipulate other members of the group... Maybe just a regular fight. Praggos was a schemer, and in Salamander's experience few such beings had ever been able to match him in a fight. It was always satisfying to crush people like that.As Salamander continued with his meaningless plans of cruelty, the Kuma Nui burst through the walls. While the rest of the group immediately began to take action both to evade the creatures and to defeat them, Salamander continued walking. He didn't want to waste any time or energy on rats. Fortunately for him, they left Salamander alone. As much as he wanted to think of it as the Rahi being scared of him, he knew that they probably were preoccupied by the sounds of battle up ahead and were choosing to ignore him for the time being.Either way, they're smarter than we give them credit for.
  24. Enough with the alien talk. This should be the last time anyone even mentions them; this is a blog for Kirse, not Fatal Error or whatever it is Vorex's RPG is called. If I'm wrong with the name of it, don't correct me. Just know that I'm currently exhausted and just couldn't be bothered to try to make sure. Okay? No more aliens. Now, I'd just like to point out that Vorex making such a calm and reasonable observation as the fact that people may not find the Nightguard to be good guys because of the identity of their leader is a rather amusing thing, considering how said leader (and consequently that particular situation) is played by none other than Vorex. In short, don't tell us "I think it might because of [something I did]". Fix it. I'd make a brand new character, as it will prevent anyone from making such assumptions. Brand. New. Try taking the character in a direction you've never really paid much attention to. Look, I'm tired, cranky, and my eyes are killing me. Just looking at the white background on this page is giving me a headache, so I'm not going to make any effort to soften up what I said. It's pretty late in the game, but I do believe that if we can pull our act together, we can improve the standing of Kirse. I'm not promising a win; we all know that there's some pretty stiff competition. So please. Enough bickering. Enough plotting. Enough getting off topic. We need suggestions as to how the game can be improved for the sole purpose of improving the game. Not because you think it would be cool, or would make for a great story you are setting up, but because it would help improve the game. I know some of you have been doing a great job in that regard (Cadias probably stands out the most), but we all need to be meeting those standards right now. Pull. It. Together.
