  1. He called it lame himself and basically showed it to me for help XD (in a kind of "hey look I made this... didn't work out" sort of way). Unfortunately I cannot add more detail, I have a very limited amount of lego to work with :/
  2. My little brother came up with an extremely lame attempt at making a transformer. Well... lame because at had some parts that moved but he had decided halway that it was too difficult and ust made a flying thing from it. I saw it and immediatly noticed he intended it to transform, so with his permission I broke up hi creation to try my hand at it myself, and here it is: Very very very large image. Certainly not the best craetion I've ever made, but it does transform!
  3. Well... exposed or not, they're a lot less vulnerable than we are. First of, a Human (or an Agori in this case) cannot have muscle exposed to the elements without skin. Their organinc parts/bits have also extreme regenerative capabilities like the Mata have shown us back in 2001 (as long as they have these "buds" or tendons still there). So a damaged muscle is not as bad with them as it is with us (where such damage would be permenant).
  4. Yeah, regardless of it's status as abandonware, it'll still be illegal, but I see nothing morally wrong with it. Technically speaking, it's illegal to download ROMs/ISOs of games you DO own legitimate copies of (you are supposed to make your own backups), but with the exceptions of Wii/Gamecube/PS2 games, it's just more convenient to download them (unless you don't mind the multi-hour download times some of the bigger games offer). And I believe that emulators are technically illegal if they include any part of the original system bios. Does the BMP host the ISO of the unfinished BIONICLE 2 game? Isn't that a similar field? I'm sure that's illegal too. Unfortunately "legal" and "morally wrong" aren't synonymous though... Knowing Lego, though, I don't think it's terribly risky, they seem to not care about stuff like that. And you shouldn't worry about having to post the rom at all. Its not like it hasn't already been done tenfold (a hundredfold by now). Admittadly I know of about 5 places to get it (but I'm not telling! >:3 )
  5. Ok, kind late answer, but what's in the chest of the Toa Metru in LoMN looks more like ust star shaped muscle structure than gears... actually it looks a lot like star shaped muscle structure. Or at least its the "fancy" part of their armour, since I suppose gears mean that they're apart from the rest and can actually move/rotate. This looks like its just engraved or something: Vakama Onewa Nuju (Seeing the Metru with loads of their muscle exposed really helps put the uniqueness of the Nuva in perspective more than the sets do ^^ )

If the developer is dead, the game isn't being produced anywhere anymore, the only way to get it is to buy it from someone who owns it and LEGO isn't getting anything from it... then there isn't anything for LEGO to lose. It should be avaible for free by now. Bionicle is cancelled, the website isn't even there anymore.

  8. It looks like a Jutlin with a slightly different forehead. I might try sticking together pieces of other sprites and see what pops out. I would've loved to help... but the way I make sprites... wouldn't exactly be helpful at all...
  9. I used the only Faxon sprite I had available. If anyone wants to make changes, you are free to do so. It's not a priority for me, though, since I don't even have an in-game power planned for it. The mask copies Rahi abilities, of which there are very few in my game. I could make it set itself to use Flight when copying Nui-Rama, Strength for other Rahi, and so on, but making it work in practice is iffy right now. The Mask of Emulation - if we had a visual on it - would copy the ability to use whatever attack you are hit by with the mask active, but without a confirmed appearance I might just give that power to the Faxon instead. "Close enough", as they say. I have no idea what comic this is, certainly not one I read (meaning I missed out on stuff I didn't even know exsisted >.< ) But here is the best canon picture from the Kanohi of Emulation: Source: BioSector 01 In the name description it say "Matoran Mask of Emulation" so I'm not sure if the Great Kanohi will look the same as the Dead Kanohi...

      All sorts, mainly game and animation related. I have lots of usable knowledge and skill with Blender 3D, but its just impossible to make the ideas I have on my own...

      Wish I could help you out, but the extent of my knowledge of 3D modeling lies in the making of a plastic bottle using Rhinoceros.. I know a bit of C++ programming though. Doubt it would be of much use.

      Well its Python Script I need ^^;

      Most of the advanced modelling and animation would be done by me, I'd need people to make flora, some of the level objects music and do scripting (screenplay would also be done by me).

      But yeah, but most don't know modelling too well and almost everybody knows how to script C++ XD

  13. GameMaker uses GML, which is its own language. It's pretty similar to other languages, as it uses if/else/for/switch and similar statements. Though as flexible as it is, it still have some limitations compared to, say, C++. No proper data types, for example. I believe the developers are looking to change that. They have already made huge improvements in run-time efficiency since GM:Studio came out. Right, so its a ot more limiting than python. I was making a comparison to the Blender Game Engine.
  14. I imported it to GM 8.1 the moment I got my hands on it, but already there I saw changes in the way the program works. People mentioned that my fonts suddenly looked awful, and certain things glitched when I tested my 8.0 project. Plus, some functions have changed and some extensions needed to be updated. It was too much work to port it over and too little to gain from a rewrite, so I kept going on 8.0 instead. Now, with GM:Studio and a lot of knowledge gained in the past few years, the benefits of rewriting the engine are far greater, while the ability to port an 8.0 project is getting even more pointless. Thus I will be doing an engine rewrite, which will hopefully turn out as well as I have said it will. So yeah, until that happens the old engine is kind of unstable on Windows 8, and I am sorry about that. I am running Windows 8 myself on my current laptop, so I will at least be able to check out the same problems you are having -- I too crash when the Lightning Balls are used, for some reason. To be more precise, they seem to crash if a regular Lightning Bolt attack is used at the same time as the Balls. Dunno why. There is no special code in them compared to, say, the Olmak or the new Toa of Iron sawblade (which you will get this weekend, yay!), and they do not appear to have this problem. Ah right, so you're already working on that! Ok, guess I'll ust have to be patient *sits in corner* Just for a curious question, what scripting language does Game Maker use?

  16. It appears to crash primarily due to multiple fireballs or electric orbs being used at the same time. I will therefore add a "fix-it" button in the settings, where you can tune down these particular attacks. This is only a emergency solution, and a better one will be implemented later. If you experience crashes related to any other features, please tell me and I will look into those as well. Yes, firebolts and electricity cause this, but it isn't a few. Any characters has to fire just once (an electricity bolt or fire bolt) and 2 seconds later the game crashes... I'm really wondering why this happens... does it have something to do with Direct X support?

His comics also went dead after... I think 5 strips. But I still have this kit... All the parts have been resized and re-cleaned. The Kanohi are incomplete, but that is due to the fact that those were the required Kanohi for the cast in the strips of Gravity. There are quite some errors in all of them, but unless there is a demand for a spritekit like this I wont make and remake it. Hope somebody finds some use for these (just be sure to color the parts BEFORE resizing them).

Me and someone on DeviantArt are having an rp wich contains a whole bunch of exsisting and none exsisting characters, and this is one of the; Toa Mariki of the Nubai team: Kanohi: Mask on connections; can sense if a person she cares about or has bonded with is in danger. She can also locate bonded person anywhere using her mask.There is no rangelimit to the mask, but it cannot feel/detect bonded individuals outside of the universe of the masks wearer (i.e. When on Spherus Magna she wouldn't be able to sense/detect a bonded individual inside the MN robot). Weapon: Battle scy; A battle scy made of pure protosteal that can be enrgized with electric element to become so sharp in can slice a Makuta in half like a hot knife to butter.
