  1. Hey man, haven't spoken in a while! How's it going? ^.^

  2. Just wondering, have you people ever written a scene in a story one day intended for film or TV which includes an unoriginal song as the soundtack? In the sequel film to Charlie Rene and Ellie Hawkins, there is a sexual scene. I hope the soundtrack over this scene to be some parts of 'Off To The Races' by Lana Del Rey. And again in the third film, in the final epilogue scene, they share one of those moment thingys after putting their newborn baby Carys to sleep, and I imagine the soundtrack to be 'Voyager' by Mike Oldfield. Also, for one of my older Fantasy series Tales of Mystica, I am considering 'Gorecki' by Lamb to be the opening and closing song for the film adaptation. But I'm not sure, as a totally depressing, serious and epic atmosphere may not be entirely what I want for it.And for my latest animation project titled "The Spirit Wings", following a millitary base in Tibet as they prepare for whatever supposedly awaits them on December 21st 2012, I've chosen Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die'.So what about you sirs and madames?P.S. New updated list of characters, now up to 125! Post yours if you haven't already or can suddenly be bothered ^.^1. The Scruby Slugs2. Baldy Bignose3. Overreactive Tony4. Artistic Dean5. Stig6. Rex7. 3. What I've noticed is people often act like someone they're not to impress the other person. It makes me facepalm sometimes Those people are stupid. Just saying =P
  4. I think a lot of young people these days fail to realise that we're not in a film or soap opera. This is the real life, not fantasy. Don't be caught in a landslide to escape from reality...The real point of a date is to show the other person a good time, no matter what setting. Fancy resturants and godawful cinema isn't a requirement! All you really need to do is just show them the best of yourself as a person. And if you're nervous, or are being quiet for a reason, be honest about it. It is cute AND understandable.Remember, #####s love honesty!!
  5. A first date would usually be something simple like going for a coffee or just walking through your town centre or a park. As long as communication happens!Basically, depending on what kind of woman you're with, you may either have the make the commitment of pretending to give a toss about animals, smiling a lot and/or forcing an interest in women's clothes. But to be honest, I've encountered very few females like that that I've been interested in. Basically, as long as you talk easy, and you like each other, then you're good to go! The last person I went on a date with was an attractive Punk/Goth girl, and a recurring aspect of conversation revolved around people she thoughroughly disliked, and whom apparently "need to die". She didn't like the word "Awesomesauce", she had a #####y relationship with her step sister (who is my friend and how I met her), and I keep wondering to this day if she's a tad racist. She was a fine example of the phrase "It's not all about looks".Basically what I'm saying is, get to know them. If you find them attractive but don't like their personality, then get a jetpack and escape their world...!
  6. Me with a couple of my friends on my 18th ^.^On the right is my foul-humoured Punk friend, in the middle is professional photographer and 3D animator friend, and on the right is me pulling the worst face at the worst time XP
  7. The opening ceremony was pretty epic...Although, the appearance of Doctor Who and The Sex Pistols could have happened :(Still, Paul MacCartney to headline it... that was right. That was right.
  8. Eat your heart out on a plastic tray...

  9. Sorry for my recent over-the-boarder posts...
  10. Hymerae, the story about the goddess who decends to Earth on a beach once every month, was based off of a special lady of mine from 2011 (this one wasn't unrequited, and we would have dated if she hadn't lived 50 miles away >.<).With this one I changed certain parts of her physical appearance, like made the length of her hair much longer, make her slightly more feminine (she wasn't exactly a girly-girl), and some other stuff. Throughout the time I was writing it, I kept having to remind myself "Harriet is NOT Hymerae! She is a character inspired by her!"Still... it didn't stop me from being slightly turned on when it got to writing the more passionate scenes xD
  11. Whoa! I'm shaking in my custom made Baby Seal leather boots!I'll say what I want, it's a free country XDBy the way, what do you people think about these lyrics:Dancing specters and nebulaeSounds of sine and the sawtooth waveReaching outwards like HymeraeAmplified by the quasar blazeNucleus of planet's dead coreShimmering back and reaching outNothing subconcious could ignoreLet us hear the universe shoutShifting throughout by gravityEchoes ring like a sonar chimeVibrating like the Maejen treeScream out for the world of timeI usually post my lyrics on a musician forum, but these are probably the least dark and most BZPower appropriate lyrics I've written in ages, and they're about the Music of the Spheres. Pretty cool...!
  12. Tell me this, fellow writers...Have you taken the same vow I have to never become attracted to my own characters? When I was in my early teens, I saw a lot of sexy Anime girls, and I wasn't the only one who fancied them; but I kept thinking "How could the character designers bare to do this?! This is your own character, and it's in some way your own child..." I've heard of some people fantasising about their own characters, but I never understood it. I would feel so uncomfortable if I became attracted to my own character, because it would feel like incest... o.OI don't know if it's because I have an emotional tie to my characters (not sure how many of you have this), or just a feel of personal indecancy. Of course, if any of you read this and feel bad about what I'm saying, don't worry, technically there's nothing wrong with it as long as it's an on-the-side thing, but I just don't understand it myself. This topic has recently come into my head because Charlie Rene and Ellie Hawkins are based off of four people I know; two for each characters, in personality and appearance. Ellie's entire appearance and partial personality is based off of somebody in my college course who I am in love with (this isn't some creepy way of coming onto her, I've sorted the whole thing out and we are good friends and I'd like to keep it that way. I still have feelings for her, but there is really nothing I can do to stop them, other than to wait for them to disappear). Anyway, she isn't the first character to be inspired by a special female in my life, but I've been having particular difficulty with this one, in making sure of not to become attracted to her as well as the real life person who inspired her. I find myself keeping having to change certain elements of her person, so that she has the right amount of difference. But anyway, answer my question, hip cats!
  13. That's not my attitude to my early works; mine are the same as yours, unoriginal, inconsistend, etcetera. But I always like to look back on them because I feel that without them, I wouldn't have written half the stuff I have today. When I was 9 I wrote a story called Tea the Lizard, about a Lizard who lived on an island, saving the world every other day. EVERYTHING was stolen from Jak and Daxter, Oddworld and Bionicle, and I came up with the idea from playing with a toy lizard. I mixed those three franchises I mentioned and turned them into an mishmash of genres and atmospheres. Thing is, even though it was terrible, it started something: the desire to create compelling fantasy. And I always like to look back on that and think that if I had never made that jumble of stolen materiel, I wouldn't have the inspiration to write original materiel now...And really, this new comeback story from the series of my early childhood is for me only. If I showed it to the public, nobody would understand what is going on and who the bizzare characters are without showing them the original paper and staples books from the late '90s. No way am I prepared to do that xD
  14. I am writing a one-off comeback of one of the very first stories I wrote when I was around 5 or 6 XDIt was a series with no particular plot other than good guys fighting bad guys, with an array of surreal and child-imagined characters. With my highly advanced and sexy mature brain, I am taking the characters on a journey like one they never had! To resurrect the characters from my past and do epic things with them feels great!Have you ever done this? Even if it's just for fun and have no intention of making it public?
  15. I've slept at friend's houses in more rural neighboring towns, and they are convinced that their houses are haunted. The first one, strange noises were heard around the house at night. There were three of us, and I was the only non-believer in the paranormal. At one point, we were sat around the coffee table playing cards, trying to relax; but every bloody time anything slightly above silence came, they stopped and said "listen to that!" Every one of those sounds was clearly something simple, like a motorbike outside or the fridge in the kitchen humming... except one which was never explained. We went to bed around 2am, and we all slept in the living room; one of them (the owner of the house) said "Alright I want to investigate before we try to sleep!" The other was terrified, but I was the brave one and agreed. We walked down the corridor, past the kitchen, when suddenly we heard this deep rumbling vibration. They were both bricking it, but I was fascinated; I listened around... It sounded like bass feedback from one of the guitar amps; but all the amps were off, and the sound was travelling. They said it sounded like someone was moving furiture upstairs, even though we were the only three in the house. But I tried to follow the sound, it seemed to go from the kitchen wall to the bedroom upstairs. I told them it was probably the house settling. Then came the adrenaline part: we all had to go upstairs to get the sleeping bags. We walked up the stairs, with me behind and the two of them in front... When the one in front peer round the corner of the upstairs, we heard the noise again only so much louder. They were both scared ####less, and bolted down the stairs; unfortunately I was behind and had to run down also, as it was a narrow stairway and I would have been trampled! We all ran around the corner and into the main room downstairs; one of them insisted on a hug because he was terrified. Being the brave kind gentleman that I am, I gave him a huge protecting embrace with my huge muscley arms. Then... I had an idea... Just to troll them, I would freak them out! I went up to the foot of the stairs and shouted up "I request parley on behalf on Shen-Din! Do you identify yourself as a member of the Shade?" A made up thing from one of my series. They both grabbed me and pulled me away from the stairs and were like "What the #### are you doing?! If there's a ghost, don't call out to it!" Using my highly advanced acting skills, I pulled the most twisted and mysterious face I could and said "And how would you know that?" and walked back to the living room. That sent a mega chill down their already pretty chilled spines; I've opened up a mysterious side to me (that doesn't exist) that they wonder about. Could I be from the X-Files? Or am I an Alien? Or do I have radio access to a secret paranormal fighting organisation run by walking nipples? The possibilities are endless. Not really, I told them I was joking like half an hour later. But that would have been sweet... That would have been sweet....
  16. I don't like dogs or animals in general, but THESE my good sir have made me see the light. This is a truly excellent visual masterpiece. My friend, you have the leed, the speed and the nipples you need to be true artist.

  18. Hey cats, it would appear to my good sighted and highly sexy eye that this thread is falling behind yet again :(I think I have an entertaining idea for the new few posters......Write down a list of all of your fully developed characters. And I mean all of them. Then post how many you have!I did mine ages ago and I have 110. You do it. DO IT >=O
  19. I approve of The Carrot!!Superhero name: The ProtohumanReal name: Tommy MitchellSuperpower: As a result of originally being born 2,000,000 years in the future from now and being sent back in time to be born into the body of a 21st century Homo (heheh) Sapien, an irregularity in the base of my spine and my powerful half-future human mind give me powers over gravity and can move my body up to extreme speeds for fancy matial art-y physical combat, and also a psychic connection to the universe and all it's organisms!!! I can punch through any materiel so long as it was formed in this universe, I'm a brilliant acrobat and I have the ability to attack using the cosmic energy that flows through my body!!! >=DWeaknesses: Emotional rubbish, because my friends are important to me and stuff, and if they were to get hurt I would be very very angry with who did it.Outfit: Most clothes change all the time, but always including a dark blue dressing robe (long story, I won't bore you with it)Allignment: Well I follow my destiny and such, but I'm a free lance hero darting around space with my two best chums. Although later in life on I abandon mainstream hero stuff and concentrate on being a good parent to my daughter Amelie. Then I'm retired as an old fart with my wife, but I manage to save mankind one last time before dying of age! =D
  20. True. Who the #### are you?!TPBM has tasted Bombay Mix.
  21. 10 minute break in college. I seized the oppitunity >=DMe with one of my sexy female film project collegues. But which one is sexier.......? =O"Jack, draw me like one of your French girls!"
  22. Well this thread's been successful! o.OAnyway, as long as we don't be a Nasty Natallie to people and don't get all self righteous, then I think this thread should be alright ^.^Might as well make that a sub-rule for this thread (if allowed): No prejudice in anyway (racism, homophobia, etc.), if you disagree with someone in this thread's way of being or beliefs, do NOT get all superior with your own! We want people to feel welcome and appreciated and knowing someone is there for them and all that jazz...
