IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets She suddenly grew shy. "I shouldn't tell my name to strangers..."

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets Fortunately, the nearest mechanic wasn't far. He was actually a close friend of Garuda's, that is to say, he didn't throw things whenever she passed by. Just a few turns later and Garuda was gently setting the Sand Bat down outside. She flipped off the skyfighter and waved grandly at the entrace. "Tada!"

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets "Sure! Follow me!" She flipped into the pilot seat and revved the Sand Bat's engines. "Watch your head," she giggled as she took off at a slow pace down the street.

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets "A mechanic!" she suddenly perked up and turned around. "Sure I know one! I know the whole town like the back of my hand!"

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets "Really?" She dropped from the doorway, landing evenly on all four feet before looking back to Taurek. "Didya catch any good ones?" IC: Fifteen - Capstone It seems her suspicions were unfounded. Turning back to the others, she shook her head at Rorohiko, indicating her agreement with Karanta.

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets She slowly drifted from side to side as she met Taurek's eyes with the grave soberiety only a child can manage. "What are you doing now?"

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets Garuda nodded sagely, then seemed to lose interest entirely as she swung back to the door, dangling upside-down by her tail. Another quick knock, and then she slipped the letter inside as the owner peeked out. Still hanging from the doorframe, she spun back to Taurek with arms crossed. "Bigger than most of the biomechs I've seen, at least."

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets Garuda's head ticked to the side, and she slowly climbed down above the door to look at Taurek closer. "You're big," she observed.

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets "Hehe..." she chuckled awkwardly, rubbing her claws together. The recipient of her letter chose this moment to open the door before promptly slamming it shut again upon seeing the angry bruiser.

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets "Whoa!" Within a flash, Garuda had scampered up to a second-floor windowsill, and stared down at the bruiser with wide, frightened eyes while she chittered nervously. "Uh... Tesara Delivery Service?"

IC: Garuda - Tesara Streets A low hum echoed through the narrow alleys of Tesara. Many had already come to know that sound and instinctively ducked their heads even before the streak of lime and silver raced by a mere fraction of a bio above them. Sparks flew as the manic driver took a sharp turn, skidding against the opposite wall before recovering her balance. When it came to the mail, no one delivered quite like Garuda. Her sharp eyes picked out the address she had been handed ahead, and she pulled up on the throttle, bringing The Sand Bat to a screeching halt over the head of a rough-looking grey bruiser before dropping down just behind him. Garuda didn't seem to notice as she flipped out of the cockpit before her craft touched down and gave a sharp rap on the door. She rocked impatiently on her heels while she waited for it to open... OOC: Lucky Taurek.
  13. Must be done... Name: Garuda Species: Bota Magna Zesk Gender: Female Powers: None Gear: Garuda’s claws are formidable weapons in and of themselves, not to mention her stinger tail. She typically covers her foreclaws in thick gloves to protect those she is working with, gloves which are usually tucked into her belt when not in use. Personal Aircraft: The Sand Bat Allegiance/Role: Tesara Messenger Appearance: Garuda is petite with baby-like proportions and dark skin. She has a few white tattoos around her shoulders and belly. She wears tan and lime clothing designed to be light for the heat of the desert. Her head is covered in the typical bestial helmet of her people with a pair of rings piercing what could be called its “ears.” Her claws and tail are made of a tough, dark brown carapace. Personality: Garuda is a young Zesk, as is easily seen. She’s relentlessly curious, perpetually energetic, and always in motion. Her upbringing in Bota Magna gives her an impressive speed, agility, and dexterity with all five of her limbs, even now that she’s been brought to the concrete jungle of Tesara. Though she loves to explore each and every mystery she comes across, the fate of her Bara Magna brethren is of particular interest to her. When not on duty, she’s often found in the outskirts of Tesara, communicating with them in their own language which she taught herself. They seem to have rubbed off on her a little too in certain animalistic mannerisms and a rare feral rage. Bio: Garuda was born on Bota Magna only a few decades before the Reformation. She was a quick learner and quickly outpaced her parents, usually ending up in the tops of the trees of the nearby forest. Nothing was too insignificant for her curiosity. Then she came to this world, a world of sand and primal Zesk. As Bota Magna decayed around her, she migrated and found her place in Tesara, where she could study the Zesk in more detail and be surrounded by the most greenery on the planet. She spent much of her time with them, eventually learning their language and much about their culture since they were separated from her people. She hopes one day to be able to get through to them and make them as great as her own society again. Personal Aircraft: The Sand Bat Model: Skyfighter Weaponry: None Appearance: The Sand Bat is pretty standard as far as Skyfighters go, with a lime and silver paint job. However, the pilot seat is surrounded by a fan of wings and flaps that give it agility far surpassing a typical Skyfighter. Garuda likes to say it can turn on a widget and give you change. All the better for her low, high-speed flights through the streets of Tesara.

IC: Mirror - Tesara Streets "M-Mirror," he muttered, wincing at the memories behind it. Things were different now. He had found his place here. IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun nodded and bolted deeper into the ship, weaving under pipes, crawling through corridors, and flinging himself up ladders to get to the bridge as fast as possible. As he came skidding into it, he quickly got to work warming up the engines.
  15. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Arena Sting staggered to evade the laser vision, giving Reaver enough time to close the distance between them. She was going to have to be very careful now... Slipping a dagger into each hand, she weaved to his right to get behind him.

IC: Mirror - Tesara Streets Mirror watched the remains of the market grimly. Stalls were overturned and broken, and he couldn't help but feel they wouldn't be if he was there. It was foolish, but the guilt still weighed him down. "Come on," he sighed. "I think your cart was over here..." IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) For a moment, Ailun was frozen in horror as he watched the monstrosity assail the walls despite the peppering of shots from all around. Then he was running to the hangar door switch to get it closed. "We gotta move." IC: Fifteen - Capstone "Yeah, let's get out of here..." She jumped up and got ready to go when, with a start, she turned behind them, but the Onu-Matoran was nowhere to be seen.
  17. IC: Sukiru (Sting) - Arena Oh boy, he was closing in fast, and distance was her best advantage. She backpedalled away while fishing for another dagger and chucking it low, toward his thigh.
  18. IC: Fang - Forest of Kaam He watched Kat with a concerned frown until she dropped off, then turned back to the others. "Shield, Snake, you two are rested. Why don't you look around for anything you can forage. The rest of you... get some sleep." IC: Tear - Hallways She nodded fervently. "I'll be there!" she grinned.

IC: Mirror - Tesara Streets Mirror followed along silently, mostly at ease in the quiet streets of Tesara. But still the feeling of danger lingered at every corner, and Mirror's hand gradually found his way to his sword. IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun chuckled along before he was interrupted by a grumble of crumbling stone. He glanced at Threiaa before slipping his wrench back into his belt and darting for the door. IC: Fifteen - Capstone She ducked under the assault of pats and waved them off halfheartedly. "Get off me!" she giggled.
  20. IC: Tear - Hallways "M-mu..." Tear suddenly perked up. "Oh! You make the sounds!"
  21. IC: Tear - Hallways Well that didn't help much. "What will be w-worth a listen?"
  22. IC: Fang - Forest of Kaam He frowned, unsure of what he could do to help. The losses the Rebellion had sustained were weighing on her... maybe even more than Omega had. After a moment of consideration, Fang stepped forward, shaking the plasma from his hands before stretching them out... and giving Kat an awkward pat on the shoulder. "Er... why don't you get some rest. I'll keep watch." IC: Tear - Hallways Tear's head ticked to the side in confusion. "C-concert?"

IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) Mirror dropped his hands to his sides and smiled with relief. "I'd be happy to... it's getting dark, we should hurry." Maybe there would still be time to help in the Marketplace... IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun shrugged again, still turning away at a bolt. "Sounds like you know what you're doing... though maybe I should show you around the bridge first."

IC: Mirror - Second Breath (Tesara Streets) Just how lost was this guy? At least he was starting to lower his guard. Mirror slowly started to lower his hands. "The... the Great Spirit died... and a Makuta took his place. There were days of terror and death, but then... Mata Nui returned to slay the Makuta, and bring us to this new world. B-but... it's not perfect, and many struggle to survive. Y-you sell fruits that remind people of our old world..." IC: Ailun - The Moa (Outside New Atero) Ailun shrugged and awkwardly turned back to the guns. "You know... earlier, when you went to sleep in the Captain's Quarters..."
  25. IC: Fang - Forest of Kaam Fang blinked hard. Just like that, the plan drifted another direction. It was like they listened to his opinion... like he was... a leader again. But then the moment was gone, and the others continued on without him. He was only half-listening until Kat spoke up, and he took the opportunity to speak up. "Kat... we're on the Northern Continent. Not Zakaz." For the first time, he noticed how she was struggling to stay on her feet, how drained she looked after the last few days. "Are you feeling alright?"
